Lost Memories

As Icarus let Sue face her memories from the past, her physical body was left unconcious on the ground of heathers. Icarus' arms turned to gold dust, shape-shifting into various weapons, seemingly trying to show off it's skills.

"You don't remember Sue yet, am I right?" Icarus asked Nikita with a grin on its face, and Nikita has no idea as to why it asked such a thing and ask herself if Sue is someone she knows on Earth.

Icarus charges with its wings to Sue's location and tried to gnaw her body. Good thing Jae is on his guard as always and shielded Sue, then Sven picked her up and run towards where the whale is on stand by - leaving Jae and Nikita with the alter in front of them.

"You know I can help you remember things about that girl. I don't know if you still want to protect her after I give you a piece of memory, though." Icarus laughed. An alter ego can make humans lose their consciousness and let them see something that might change their desires. Usually, they do this to make their prey easier to manipulate, so they can suggest to just devour them whole instead of devouring them with resistance - for it will give both of them more power.

Icarus put Nikita back into the time where she met Sue and lose the relationship they once had.

It was their gradeschool years when they met each other for the first time. Nikita just transferred into that school, and Sue is the one who sits beside her. Eventually, they became good friends then close friends - they are always together wherever they go. Some people around them thought they were inseperable twins because of this. Nikita is the timid girl, while Sue makes sure that she protects her from any harm. They really like each other like siblings, but when they were in their freshman year in high school, Sue exhibits a totally different attitude towards Niki. One day she just told Niki that she doesn't want to be friends with her anymore and it made Nikita want her to explain further because she cannot understand the sudden change of feelings. It seems that Sue is envious of the attention that Nikita gets from the people around them, and she wanted to get the boy that Niki likes. It was all childish and immature, and Nikita can't believe they're ending their friendship because of this. At first she still tries to initiate small talks to Sue, but when all of her efforts were put in vain, she decided to completely sever the bond between them.

Sue got the boy she likes, the attention she loves, and the fame she's dying for. While the timid Niki is now defenseless against the other people who envy her life, thus the start of her misfortunes.

"Did she remember?" Asked Nikita, without the usual pokerface, a sudden pour of tears were seen on her dull face.

"Not that it matters. Do you still want to help her out? She's such a horrible friend to you, right?" Icarus responded, trying to convince her to just let it devour Sue's body and existence.

"I... I won't let pride consume her ever again."
