He sounded really awkward. Aidan was really awkward in front of girls, as he had very limited interaction with girls due to his introverted nature.
Aidan felt even more awkward since it was Aditya's fiance. Since he hardly ever talked to Aditya's fiancée. There was simply no reason for him to approach any of Aditya's fiancée and talk to them.
