Chapter 26: Transforming into Super Saiyans

Under the shocked gazes of everyone, Vegeta spat out blood and collapsed into a pool of it.

Everyone looked in the direction from which the purple beam had come, and they were utterly horrified. The attack had been launched by Frieza, who should have been dead.

Indeed, the Saiyans' vitality was formidable. Even though Vegeta had been pierced through the heart by Frieza and was undoubtedly dying, he didn't die immediately. He lifted his head to look at Frieza and said with hatred, "Frieza, I hate you so much!"

John Doe and the others didn't know what Vegeta was hating, but they could hear the countless regrets and unfulfilled ambitions in his words.

In the end, under everyone's gaze, Vegeta spat out more blood and died on the ground.

Frieza slowly flew up to the top of a hill. It was then that everyone realized that a large part of Frieza's tail was missing, clearly indicating that the Spirit Bomb had indeed caused him some harm.

When John Doe saw Frieza, his heart sank. His worst fear had come true; Frieza had indeed survived the Spirit Bomb.

John Doe asked in a stern voice, "Frieza, how did you manage to evade our ki sensing?"

Frieza replied, "I should thank you all for that. I must say, your control over ki is indeed remarkable. I merely studied it briefly and learned the technique of concealing my ki."

Everyone's hearts sank as they hadn't expected Frieza's martial arts talent to be so high. Not only the others, but even John Doe himself, hadn't anticipated that Frieza would learn the technique of suppressing his ki.

Frieza continued, "I had intended to directly finish you all off, but I didn't expect that evading your ki sensing would also bring me an additional surprise."

Everyone immediately understood that Frieza had overheard their earlier conversation about the Dragon Balls. Their hearts sank even further, and Krillin was especially distressed since it was his slip of the tongue that had revealed the secret of the Dragon Balls.

Suddenly, Krillin burst into action and launched an attack on Frieza, a move that surprised everyone.

"Krillin, no!" Goku shouted, trying to stop Krillin from doing something foolish.

John Doe also wanted to stand in front of Krillin to stop him, but just as he was about to use Instant Transmission, Frieza's attack was already launched, passing by John Doe and piercing through Krillin's body.

"Krillin!" John Doe turned and held Krillin in his arms.

The other Z Fighters quickly flew over, shouting Krillin's name.

"I'm sorry, everyone. It was my slip of the tongue that revealed the secret of the Dragon Balls and may have prevented us from being resurrected," Krillin said, knowing that if Frieza went to Namek and made his wish, he would surely kill all the Namekians, and then there would be no chance of resurrection for the dead.

Krillin felt very guilty and wanted to fight Frieza to stop him. He knew he was no match for Frieza, but he still fought with all his might.

Krillin died in John Doe's arms.

John Doe was filled with anger and guilt. He hated himself for not being able to transform into a Super Saiyan, for he knew that if he had, he could have killed Frieza.

If Frieza were killed, no one else would have to die. But what had he, John Doe, done?

Uncontrollable rage surged through John Doe's body. His hair and eyebrows began to shift between gold and black, and an overwhelming ki, surpassing that of everyone else, rose from his body.

Everyone was terrified, not understanding what was happening to John Doe.

Soon, they noticed that another person was undergoing a similar transformation to John Doe's, and it seemed that Goku was also changing in the same way.

As their ki continued to rise, Frieza also witnessed their transformation.

Frieza panicked. He immediately thought of the ancient legend of his race, the golden warrior of the Saiyan race, the Super Saiyan.

But even if there were Super Saiyans, shouldn't there be only one? Why were there two? How could this Earthling named John Doe also transform into a Super Saiyan?

Frieza immediately fired countless purple beams at John Doe and Son Goku, but they showed no intention of dodging. With a simple lift of their hands, they deflected the beams.

Frieza was terrified and furious. He cursed inwardly, praying for the two of them to fail in their Super Saiyan transformation.

Unfortunately for Frieza, his wish was not granted by the heavens, perhaps because he had not offered any tribute.

Two powerful auras soared into the sky as John Doe and Son Goku simultaneously transformed into Super Saiyans.

Their hair and eyebrows turned golden, and their green eyes radiated boundless anger. John Doe and Goku both looked up at Frieza.

Frieza was so scared that he fell to the ground.

John Doe didn't care about Frieza's reaction. He vanished from his original spot and reappeared in front of Frieza, his cold gaze fixed on Frieza. "Frieza, I will kill you," he said coldly.

After saying this, John Doe delivered a flying kick that struck Frieza's body, sending him flying a great distance.

But before Frieza could land, Goku instantly appeared at the spot where Frieza was falling and, with a double-fisted punch, slammed Frieza deep into the earth.

Frieza, who had been beaten like a child by the two Saiyans, was no longer afraid. Instead, he was filled with boundless rage.

Frieza rose from the ground and roared. "You filthy monkeys! Did you think that was my full power before? You underestimated me. I'll show you my full power state!"

After saying this, Frieza powered up again, his muscles bulging. His previously restrained ki instantly doubled, and a powerful aura soared into the sky.

Apart from John Doe and Goku, who still had cold expressions, the surviving Z Fighters were worried, unsure if John Doe and Goku could still defeat Frieza.

Yamcha said, "Frieza's ki is truly astonishing. Can John Doe and Goku beat him even after transforming into Super Saiyans?"

Only Gohan remained unwavering in his belief in his father and Uncle John Doe. He protected Piccolo's body and shouted, "My father and Uncle John Doe are invincible! They will defeat Frieza for sure!"

On the battlefield, Frieza was very pleased with his current form. The bulging muscles gave him a confidence he had never felt before.
