S-Cell Experiment

Mortal Kombat at it's finest, That was all that could be said about the confrontation between Karl and Goku. The two entities wielding a great amount of KI were having it out with intense vigor.

Punches and Kicks echoed through the air, causing little shockwaves to echo through the air. 

Adrenaline pulsated through Goku's body as he threw a kick, aiming to break through Karl's defenses only for the shoulder-length young man to parry the attack with his right hand and charge up his left hand with green KI.

Karl's fist hit Goku in the stomach, causing a spray of blood to erupt from the mouth of the Older Saiyan but he didn't deter, He brought his fist back and it brightened up with bright white KI, He punched Karl in the stomach as well but the reaction was not as expected.

Karl looked like the attack didn't faze him in the slightest, Goku of course knew that their power levels weren't that far apart but he didn't expect that a punch that he poured his KI into would deal zero to no damage at all.

Karl suddenly vanished and Goku tried to narrow down his KI, but he didn't need to... A kick flashed right across his face and sent him crashing into a small mountain.

Goku didn't understand, Karl was younger than him... far younger yet he was more powerful, He didn't think Karl had a higher talent than him.

"Yo, Goku... Is our spar over?" Karl asked and Goku's sanity got a slight crack, Karl was obviously toying with him... Yet he couldn't even get Karl to use his full power.

'Am I a... pushover?' Goku thought.

"Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!"

A thick white aura covered Goku's body, his hair flaring up.

Karl chuckled a bit, Sure Goku was expending more energy than he was capable of... He had a theory of it, He always noticed in the anime that the Saiyans when pushed to the brink of humiliation, Their power would always shoot up... And beyond.

Why? Because of the S-cells, Yes the same cells that allowed a Saiyan to become a Super Saiyan. Karl believed that Saiyans drew out more KI from their S-cells when they got pushed to the limits...

As for the spar with Goku, He didn't want to come here during the first arc of the Saiyan saga... Raditz's appearance on Earth.

His appearance on Earth had made Goku and Piccolo train together, which made the two of them more powerful than their Original selves and now he was going to push Goku to the limit too to increase his power... As for Piccolo, he would be strong enough. 

Goku shot forward, crushing the entire mountain in one go as he found himself flying to Karl at an unbelievable speed, rage filling his eyes.

He threw his right fist forward and Karl crossed his hands in a defensive position, Goku's punch landed and sent shivers down Karl's spine. It was far stronger than anything Goku had thrown at him before, and... his hands were still vibrating.

"Is this plot armor?" Karl muttered and then pushed KI into his feet, shooting away from Goku.

"You aren't getting away from me!" Goku screamed out and his aura doubled in size, He pushed forward and appeared in front of Karl charging a powerful Kick.

Estimating his power, Karl would say that it was at a shocking 1000-1100.

'I didn't really expect it to work that well,' Karl thought and pushed his face back, dodging Goku's kick.

Goku gritted his teeth and propelled his other foot at Karl's face, he didn't manage to catch the Younger Saiyan offguard though. Instead, His kick was parried like his earlier attacks and although Karl's hand was shaky, He still managed to clench it into a fist.

"This might not be as boring as I thought," Karl said and then his eyes flashed, His entire body began glowing and a light green aura covered him, although it wasn't raging like Goku's aura, It was more concentrated.

"HUH?!!!" Goku shouted out and shot forward, their fists collided in the next moment and the older saiyan was pushed back, he was more or less surprised about the fact Karl was able to keep up with him now... Even with all of his strength.

Another crack was formed on his Sanity and his aura grew in size yet again, Karl didn't understand... What was making Goku so angry?

His power once again grew to new heights and Karl was shocked, Goku was pushing more power from his S-cells and the exhaustion was visible on his body.

"It's similar to the Kaioken," Karl muttered, "maybe I should use the Kaioken... no, I don't want to inflict too much damage on him,"

Goku took in a deep breath and Karl laughed.

"Seems like you're getting a little bit exhausted, Is all this power tiring you?" Karl asked.

Goku cocked his head in Karl's direction and Karl's eyes widened, they were blank... The white aura sparked with a bit of golden lightning.

'Did I go too far? He's going False Super Saiyan...'

Goku's aura changed drastically as it turned golden, shaking the mountain area.

"I AM NOT WEAK!!!" Goku shouted, his voice creating shockwaves that ravaged the land below him.

Karl didn't even get a chance to react as Goku appeared right in front of him, his fist engraving itself in Karl's stomach and blood trailing down Karl's lips. Goku spun his arm and aimed for a Punch but Karl vanished, appearing high above.

"Fuck, That hurt so much," Karl said and then unleashed the full force of his own base power, Goku widened his eyes but it was too late... Karl's feet smashed against his face, sending him right to the ground but the Younger Saiyan wasn't done, 

Karl grabbed the collar of his shirt and narrowed his eyes at Goku's blank sockets. Goku struggled against the grip of Karl but he wasn't able to do it, It was too strong...

Karl's knees smashed against his chest and his vision blurred, Karl didn't stop... He did it again and again and Goku got his breath knocked out of him repeatedly.

"I didn't expect this to happen, Sorry Goku," was all Goku heard before his vision blacked out.

Goku felt some kind of liquid sloshing around his body, It felt amazing but strange at the same time and for some reason, He couldn't open his eyes. He was tired and it felt so relaxing, he could hear some voices outside too.

"Karl, this regeneration fluid is amazing," Dr. Briefs said, at least that's what Goku thought he heard, "With this, We'll be able to save many lives as well as cure a lot of diseases,"

"Hmm, I guess so," Karl said.

Goku sat in a room with Bulma, a blue-haired rare beauty watching over him. She had been scared when Goku had been brought here with terrible wounds, fresh blood gushing down his nose and even his ears too.

Although she had to admit, The Shoulder-length boy with a TAIL looked hot!

'He has a tail like Goku did... Does that mean they are like Brothers or something?' Bulma thought, the prospect of Goku having a brother... it felt absurd to her and even so, She just hoped that the boy wasn't as dumb as Goku.

"Is he your brother?" Bulma asked, her short blue hair accentuating her beauty too. Being in a room with her would be an instant turn-on for men but Goku didn't understand what was meant by being turned on so...

"No," Goku replied while stretching, "I don't really remember what happened in our battle after getting super angry but he's a really strong guy, He's capable of beating me and Piccolo,"

Bulma's eyes widened, Beating Piccolo was one thing but Goku... It meant that he was the most powerful one present on the planet right now and it just made things more interesting to her. She wanted to find more about this so-called strongest person on Earth.

The door was knocked on in the next moment.

"Come in," Bulma said, thinking it would be one of the many maids that were present in the mansion but it wasn't, rather it was a young man with shoulder-length black hair and emerald green eyes. 

Bulma blushed, his handsomeness was on another level. Karl stepped in and smiled at Bulma, her heart starting to beat faster but she wasn't supposed to feel like this... She was in love with Yamcha, right?

The bastard that had the gall to cheat on her over and over again with other girls, Didn't he see that she tried very hard for this relationship? Because she was in love with him...

"Uhh, Goku," Karl said and bowed, "I'm very sorry for dealing those injuries to you, I went a bit too far in our fight and I apologize for it,"

Goku stood up, shocked.

"No, It was I that went too far," Goku said, "although I don't remember what happened, I guess I made you angry,"

"No, nothing of that sort happened... It was just that you were coming at me, overwhelming me and then I used my full power," Karl said and his lips curled into a smile although Goku couldn't see it, "You are a powerful opponent, Goku and I'd love to spar with you again sometime,"

Goku flashed a smile.

"Thanks, Same with you," Goku said and gave him a thumbs up, "I'll be waiting,"

Bulma looked at the tail of Karl, bouncing in the air. It showed that he was happy and then Karl stood up, his face coming into her line of sight again.

Her expression crumbled and her face turned bright red as his eyes landed on her's.

"And miss Bulma Briefs, Dr. Briefs has been telling me a lot about you," Karl said, "Your talents are really amazing and I hope we become friends in the future,"

Karl then turned to the door.

Bulma's eyes displayed her confusion, Why didn't he ask for her number?

"Umm, and before you ask, I don't have a phone," Karl said and opened the door, stepping through and closing the door behind him too.

Karl walked and walked until he reached the front gates of the Brief Mansion, instead of signaling to the gateman to open the gate, He rather shot into the air unleashing a little bit of a shockwave in the process.

Karl shot through the air, He planned to stop by at Korin for a bit to see if the cat had a restock on Senzu beans... Since his Starship wasn't ready, He would have to rely on the magical beans for healing until the next time he could find a loophole in his training and collect it.

A thin green aura shrouded him as his speed increased.

"No way I'm wasting any more time on Earth," Karl said with fear imprinted on his face, "King Kai might make me wash his car over and over till there's not a speck of dirt on it... And then I might have to repaint it,"

Karl landed on Korin's tower and the old cat sat in a meditative position, KI ciruclating around all of it's joints.

"You really made Goku mad, huh?" Korin asked, "First time I felt him so angry,"

"He pushed himself to the limits, It isn't fair if I grow stronger by myself, others have to grow alongside me," Karl said, "And it's the warriors with the best potential that are actually seen by me, As for the other humans with little to no potential, Fuck them,"

"As for his son, Gohan... I plan on training him when I finish my own training, He has amazing potential," Karl said, "And I don't trust him with that stingy mother of his," 

"I guess you're right," Korin said, "also I want to sincerely say Thank you for those canned fishes, They were organic,"

"No problem," Karl said and then a pouch landed in his hand.

"There are 12 Senzu beans there, I only have 4 Senzu beans as reserves left," Korin said, "Consider them a gift from me,"

Karl bowed.

"Thanks for the gift," Karl said and then waved, "Well, I have to go,"

Karl jumped off the tower and continued his Journey upwards to Kami's own tower.

Karl landed on the ground and the first thing he was met with was a smile from Kami.

"Goku has grown stronger," Kami said, "Thank you,"

"No problem," Karl said and waved him off, he walked to the center of the tower and looked at a weird rock.

It was a rock with a star shape in the center, similar to a Dragon ball but different as well.

"I'm heading back to King Kai now," Karl said to Kami who nodded.

"Make sure to get stronger," Kami said, "No slacking off on your training,"

"Yeah, I know," Karl said and touched the stone, A bright blue light covered the stone and Karl... and then in the next moment, Karl disappeared from Earth.

As much as I would love to write the King Kai training arc, I don't know much about that so we're switching to some Z-fighter POVs, Goku and Piccolo are the main characters for the next chapters!!!
