What if the greatest support clan in the world gave birth to a child who possessed the strongest offensive spirit? How would the child change the fate of this cruel yet beautiful world? It was simple. The Spirit Hall is being threatened of it's position! The Clear Sky Clan is being challenged of it's title as the greatest offensive spirit tool clan! I'm a beginner writer, so don't expect much from me because there are gonna be a lot of mistakes and things you might not like. Cover not mine. I don't know who made it because I just found it randomly on Google. If you want me to remove it, I'll do so.

Chapter 10

Chapter 10 — Spirit Ring (2)

Ning Chen held the scabbard with nine-colored dragon symbol. He slowly felt rows of informations entering his mind.

He immediately understood the ability of the scabbard and also managed to know that he wouldn't always get an ability from the scabbard each time he acquired a new spirit ring.

It was quite disappointing to know, but Ning Chen felt he was lucky enough to get an extra ability.

The ability of the scabbard was called as 'Sword Draw'.

The effect of this ability was to enhance his sword strike by 10% after being drawn out from the scabbard.

This enhancement would only last for a few seconds and could also be used alongside another spirit ring ability.

The Sword Draw ability would increase by another 10% every time he acquired a new spirit ring.

This was also the same case with his Red Dragon Power. It's effect will increase by another 10% whenever he acquired a spirit ring.

In fact, this was natural to all seven treasure pagoda spirit and it seems like Kel'al also inherited this part despite mutating.

"I should try using those two abilities together," Ning Chen softly muttered.

He walked toward a gigantic tree which was even thicker than his head.

<First Sword Color: Red Dragon Power>

<Enhancement: Sword Draw>

Ning Chen's muscles became exceedingly distinct and his amethyst eyes turned into crimson.

He firmly held the hilt of his crimson sword which was inside the scabbard.

The sword's blade was covered in a veil of starry light that was caused by the scabbard.

Swishh!

Ning Chen suddenly drew his sword, slashing it horizontaly at the tree.

After that, nothing seemed to happened to his surroundings and also the tree infront of him.

There was only a complete silence.

Ning Chen placed his sword back into the scabbard. He canceled his ability and silently left the place, knowing the result of his attack.

After he left, the gigantic tree suddenly began to tremble as a thin horizontal line appeared at the middle of it's body.

It then began to slide sideway and collapsed loudly on the ground.

The tree was cleanly sliced into half like a butter...

....

Ning Chen didn't left the forest after successfully merging with a spirit ring. He instead planned on staying here for a whole month.

He was planning on challenging many weaker spirit beast in order to refine his combat experience and comprehend the nature in peace.

Ning Chen had brought his camping gears along with him so he was good to live outdoors after finding a safe spot.

He then went to the very outer layer of the forest where it was relatively safe.

As Ning Chen was walking, he suddenly spotted a rabbit jumping around.

It's lower body, especially it's legs strength was great, allowing to possess a strong jumping strength to leap over a large distance with only a few jumps.

Ning Chen was suddenly struct with a weird idea.

He thought it was good idea to train his legs and gain the ability to instantly close in his opponent by imitating the actions of the rabbit.

It would also improve his lower body, a very important part of a swordsman.

Ning Chen quickly forgot about finding a safe spot and began to imitate the movement of the bunny.

After a whole day of looking like a fool for acting like a rabbit, Ning Chen felt his legs getting heavy and throbbing in pain.

This was a clear sign that his muscles were torn and were now healing to become stronger.

"It seems like imitating the movements of an animal can serve as a good training," Ning Chen smiled faintly.

He decided from now onward, he will temporarily discard his humanity and be a spirit beast for a month!

"But I first need to find my safe haven," He chuckled.

Fortunately, he managed to find a safe place to live for one month after searching for a while.

The next day...

Ning Chen woke up inside his tent and ate his breakfast early in the morning.

He then began to explore around the outer layer of the forest, trying to gain insight from nature.

Ning Chen saw many things while walking around.

The thing that captured his entire attention was a tribe filled with monkey and they were all experienced in wielding a stone staff.

They would also constantly swing from tree to tree with only their arms. He thought it was a good idea to also train his arm muscles.

Ning Chen had also thought about challenging the tribe of monkeys, but decided to do it at a later date.

He wanted to first continue on training both of his legs.

It was also quite a bit of shame that he didn't have his master's medicinal bath to make his training more efficient.

...

Time, without meaning; it passed with battle and sweat.

Ning Chen had already stayed inside the forest for a whole month now.

He had already copied the movements of many spirit beast.

It was either to train parts of his muscles or to make him understand the nature more deeper.

As a side-effect, his amethyst eyes were now emmiting a beastly gaze filled with savagery.

Ning Chen's training of one month consisted of him always cultivating his spirit power and striking his sword repeatedly for the whole morning.

He would then go fight against a grizzly bear bare-handedly to test his strength and duel against the monkey tribe at the afternoon.

This made his combat skills and diversity with his sword moves improved significantly.

He also didn't killed any of them and just sparred against them. Thankfully, they seemed to noticed his intent.

After it turned evening, Ning Chen would just continue training like a spirit beast.

After copying the movements of a rabbit for a long time now, Ning Chen was able to grasp the earth with his feet, causing him to be able to be rooted on the ground and move quicker.

His legs muscles also became stronger, making him be able to leap forward very quickly with a single jump and by grasping the earth.

It was also the same for his arm muscles, making his grip and wrist strength much more stronger.

After staying here for a month now, Ning Chen felt it was time to leave and return back.

....

My head damn hurts. Sorry if there's error or any confusing part.
