Chapter 115: The Despair of the Snake Demon

"Titan." At the moment Muria revealed his true form, the snake demon's lower serpentine half convulsed, and she involuntarily retreated, overpowered by the sight of this order-aligned neutral entity—a natural enemy to her chaotic evil nature.

"What is this place?" The snake demon's gaze shifted from Hesel to the Titan. Compared to a Titan, what was a soul-grade elf? Even if this Titan appeared to be just a gold-level fourth order.

"You could guess." Muria revealed his Titan form, surrounded by wind and thunder, a small teleportation circle emerged beside him, and a segment of a silver-grey gun barrel appeared. Muria grasped the barrel, pulling forcefully to reveal a spear, its tip gleaming sharply.

Hearing Muria's response, the snake demon frowned. She hadn't been in the Abyss Training Ground for long. After wandering around and discovering only the dark void, her interest waned. When she attempted to return through the Abyssal Gate to her original layer of the Abyss, she discovered a horrifying truth: the gate was one-way, entry only, no exit. Realizing this, the snake demon felt trapped, as if in a cage.

This sensation was unpleasant. So, when Muria and Hesel appeared, the demon was ecstatic to see creatures other than her own kind, hoping to learn about this place through them.

Naturally, her focus shifted to Hesel, the soul-grade elf, but it turned out that Muria, seemingly the weakest with a gold-level aura, was actually the most formidable.

"Haven't figured it out yet?" Muria approached the contemplating snake demon with his spear. "Actually, you don't need to think about it much. You're about to die anyway, and a dead snake demon doesn't need to know much."

"Die?" Hearing Muria's words, the snake demon gripped her curved blades, laughing in fury. "Even if you are a Titan, you are merely a gold-level fourth order. I am a soul-level second order."

"Hum!" Muria gently vibrated his spear, producing a distinctive metallic resonance, "Gold-level fourth order? Enough to kill you."

"Arrogant."

Silence fell as Muria no longer spoke. Wind stirred around him, blowing towards the snake demon. The Titan youth stepped forward on a cyclone, wielding thunder and a long spear, charging across the corpse-littered ground towards the enraged snake demon.

"You're not even of age yet!" The snake demon parried with her six curved blades, forming a crude blade array. Amid a chorus of clanging, she blocked Muria's wind- and thunder-wrapped spear thrust.

"Hmph." Muria grunted lightly, shook his spear, and the brute force of a Titan and a dragon's son sparked off it, scattering sparks as he swept aside the snake demon's six blades.

"Damn you!" The snake demon cursed under her breath. The collision made her realize an uncomfortable truth: her physique was inferior to Muria's, the seemingly mere gold-level Titan youth was stronger than her.

"Futile verbal skirmish." Hearing the snake demon's curses, Muria was unmoved. He vibrated his spear, and in an instant, his arm holding the spear turned into a blur, sending over a hundred sharp spear glows towards the beautiful face of the snake demon.

"Think you can kill me? Not so easy." The snake demon danced her six blades, displaying all the knife skills she had honed in endless battles within the Abyss, shattering Muria's spear thrusts into fine bursts of energy.

Simultaneously, her thick, black-scaled serpent tail whipped towards Muria with such force that the air howled in protest.

"Attacking me with a tail?" Muria's lips curled into a mocking smile; he was an expert at tail attacks himself. However, he did not unleash his draconic lineage to reveal his dragon tail; there was no need.

Muria raised his left hand, striking the snake tail with bolts of golden thunder, his palm swirling with air that twisted the atmosphere.

"Snap!" After two impacts, Muria's hand, burning with dragon flame, seized the snake demon's tail.

"Sizzle! Sizzle!..." A scent of charred flesh spread across the bloody battlefield, the snake demon's alluring face twitched as she bit down on her silver teeth in pain.

A faint whooshing of blades was heard as the snake demon swung her six curved blades at Muria. Meanwhile, on her thick tail held by Muria, four rings of soul-intent appeared, a tremendous force trying to free the tail from his grasp.

"Ha!" Muria chuckled lightly, his right hand wielding the spear, stabbing six times to parry the curved blades, while his left arm muscles bulged, spreading endless thunder from his palm over the snake demon's body.

"Ahh!" The snake demon screamed as she was lifted from the ground, not of her own volition but because Muria was swinging her up by brute force,

"Boom!" The snake demon's body, flung up, crashed heavily back to the ground, rocks flying and creating a serpent-shaped crater in the hard surface...

Lifting and smashing, lifting and smashing... The sounds of the heavy impacts and the snake demon's faint screams of agony continued unabated, as Muria used the snake demon's body like a war hammer, smashing everything around him, flattening nearby hillocks.

Initially, Muria could feel the snake demon's struggles in his grip, prompting him to grip her tail even harder, his fingers sinking into her flesh, dark blood streaming.

As time passed, however, and Muria leveled everything around him with the snake demon's body, her struggles weakened significantly.

"Snap!" Muria casually threw the six-armed snake demon to the ground, his spear pointed at her heart, thunder swirling, ready to strike and kill her on the spot.

"Wait!" The snake demon, her body a mangled mess, scales shattered, and bones broken, whispered faintly, her six arms defensively in front of her chest—an instinctual plea for survival.

"Can you tell me what this place is? Why did I encounter a monster like you?" The snake demon's face, still relatively intact, looked at Muria with resentment.

"This is the Abyss Training Ground of my Titan race."

"Training ground!" A look of despair crossed the snake demon's face. "So, the moment I arrived here, I was doomed to die."

"Pfft!" Without hesitation, Muria thrust his spear through her heart, thunder flowing in to obliterate all her organs, leaving no chance for recovery.

Then, Muria turned to look towards another part of the roaring battlefield where the elf girl Hesel had already spotted the deep abyss hunter.

"Writing battle scenes isn't my forte, but I'm learning and not running away from it anymore."
