Ugh Din woke up with his head throbbing now he had to look around for his light band his survival depended on it . The smoke of the battle was thick and the sounds were horrid mankind has known nothing but war every since first contact with the Syrithians, this is just one of many battles and Din is just one of many Light singers. light singers are warriors that use solid light and their own chakra as weapons and defensive systems it takes training to master and works with ones nature and evolves with them. Din climbs to the top of the wreckage of a drop pod he arrived in and finds his light band why he took it off in the first place was because he was daydreaming before he was shot down. Din get your but in gear and meet at the nav point yelled Ericka his squad mate every light singer works with a darkblade which is their dark counter part in this universe they are to eventually pair together and become parents of future singer or blade depending on which traits show on as the child grows. but that takes years and doesn't always happen. You could have asked if i was alive stupid says Din and Ericka laughs and tells him he is just worthless The banter is interupted by a large group of Syrithians claws and teeth ready they charge Din with speed but a light singer is a defensive wizard and with a wave of his hand he raises a wall of solid light than makes a fist and pushes it to his palm and the light responds by crushing the unfortunate souls he than makes a blade and shield only 30 more paces to go till the nav point no point looking for the Darkblade tho They are only seen when they want to be and sure enough she makes herself known just as a Stalker creeps out of the bodies of the dead around Din. Stalkers are very mutated humans that have been half eaten by the Syrithians and Ericka watched this one for a shortwhile as it followed Din he is so clueless of the help she gives him like he almost became lunch this one was 13 feet and hulking yet stealth is its permanent state so she couldn't blame Din but with a flick of her wrist Dark matter formed and flew right through the head of that stalker making short work of it. Din you was finna be lunch boi!! yelled Ericka Din ignored her comment while he was thinking of how he was finna flame her back Dion came on the com and yelled yall both suck catch up to my count 15 thats right wooo! and before he left the link they heard explosions nearby and on the comm... Urgh he a show off Din and Dion were rivals in the light singers open rivalry was very much a thing and Din was by far the weakest Ericka was sad to be paired with him but her and his units were very different.

Darkblade training is about the team but they work in the dark they are very precise and prefer to do things at a distance they dont heal but they do buff and use posions light singers are up close and personal they do heal dont sneak very well but are more like shock troopers Din is like a hybrid of the two by nature as his genetics have flirted with both openly his abilities are light but the way they manifested are very much in favor of darkness as he can manipulate light and shadows to use as camo for short periods and drain life force tho weakly this is why Ericka picked him but so far he has not shown anything special in fact he is the weakest on his team 😂. Din rushed in the direction of the explosions today was the day he became something he thought to himself he was planet born and therfore they always looked down on him as that ment a soft life of field work instead of military post life of the much more numerous space born who had no choice but military but he always liked to tell them he chose because he could to stick it to them back. little did he know that his destiny was about to begin. Din gets to the new nav point to see Dion and Reshin his darkblade in heavy combat blades and light rays moving every which way and something inside him snapped Ericka!!!! yelled Din guard my back and let me know when you get hurt im going in!!! Roger yelled Ericka Din rushed in and used a light bladed disk to throw at the nearest group they were cut clean in half and Ericka flipped and tossed a smokescreen Din thought right on time and pulled up the health monitor in his screen Dion was full health but fatigue was getting to him and Reshin was at half health Din healed Her and than made a wall of light with auto turret on top a nice throwback to Earth history the advantage of being planet born is more books equal more ideas for creations that work lol but less discipline and talent is the other side of this.The Turret got to work and the two squads had a short moment to plan the next move Dion was to push further into the the clone facility and blow it up he would than teleport to the ship Din was to take the fight outside meeting with planetary defense forces in short regular human solders and fight as a distraction to the enemy. it took no time to meet the PD and Din was pleased to see that moral was high the fight was not fierce at first and it even rained abit which was nice on that hot day.. Just as Din was thinking about the mop up things got much worse first was a bunch of orbital bombardments meaning the Navy was at work and losing. next was contens of the drop pods being zeros demons now that was a problem they unlike the Syrithians were very much a problem they had atmo guns that weaponize chunks of the atmosphere and never need to reload they come in all sizes and even have artillery. form lines now!!!! Yelled Din as the first bombs hit and instantly killed half a platoon lucky they had numbers in spades Din made light armer than made a cannon range for the people to use as well as there own he than self charged the enemy with sword in hand stabbing thru the breastplate of the first foe. the second foe swung wildly at him and barley missed his head the troops following his lead did a rifle mans charge and killed many as well as dropped to counter fire Ericka was amazing a blurr of blades dancing she was like most darkblades a Zotarian they are humans that branched off after millions of years outside of the milky way they are more agile and look like Asian Elves almond eyed yellow skinned dark-haired it made sense most of that branch started as a Chinese exploration and expansion team Din is from the Afro Descendant lineage of Gillia. Gillia are humans that become light singers and inhabit the between way planets the milky way is traditional human and outside of the milky way each race mutated works together and is only in different locations because of exploration teams ending up in different locations.

the thought was to avoid earths mistakes and allow cultures to thrive and still be needed by each other by being over seen by Earth it worked but it made very different combat styles. Earth sloggers are European descended and can use anything they stand on as battle material latin born use heat and can make it from nothing Afro born use light. all are equal in combat ability and usefulness as well as treatment in society. Ericka flipped out of reach of a blast and was given a wall of light to cover behind and she than created shadow lightning and arced it thru the wall at her attackers frying some of them Din is on a role she thought Din hit a combat roll rose with a light lance and thrust it thru the skull of a large zeros demon than blocked the powerful kick of another that sent him flying Ericka blasted dark rounds into his chest before he could realize his triumphant kick tho and before she hit the ground from her vaulted maneuver she sighted and shot another Din made a light rifle and pushed up beside her than gave her a light shell as he shoulder checked another the two locked in a vicious melee.
