Din and Ericka were a deadly blur on the battlefield and the regular humans were at a standstill in fact the fight turned into being all about them all the demons focused on was bringing them down and they killed every last one that tried only making them want to do so even more but luck would soon run out.. an earth shattering crash sent bodies flying everywhere Dins ears were ringing but just in time he did raise a dome of light to cover him and Ericka. Ericka was knocked out so he covered her with a heavy shell of light and healed her his chakra was running low and he was now on guts alone. Din let out a roar Afro glistening in the light of fire and the humans charged into the line of Demons and Syrithians explosions going off everywhere the front lines armed with the heaviest and bravest melee troops followed by gunners firing over their heads Ericka woke up and applied Din with a stamina buff hoping it would buy them both just enough time to get a comm link up to the navy her next move was to pull out her short blades and apply her stealth coat while Din lacked battle experience he more than made up for it with raw destruction what she could see in him was the fact his team only best him because they know tactics and grew up in space which means military brats She was thankful Darkblades get to pick their pair partners her friends over looked a gem but Ericka on the other hand was very experienced in battle and played on his destruction to her advantage to make beautiful art on the battle field Din was locked in heavy melee with 8 foes and actually holding out sword and shield clashing shoulder checking and moving well he knew it was because Ericka gave him a stamina buff his feelings for her deepened she teases him a lot but she does care after all he thought to himself as he lashed a straight kick turned his shield into a longsword and lashed as he landed his foot turning as he did so to sweep the blade behind him to clear any who would dare circle him their was one challenger a large Demon lord with a large mall hammer and shield he roared and rushed Din who changed the game and made a light rifle and opened fire with a light grenade both flew back and had to dust themselves off the crowd roared to life and open combat ensued again to the words of you idiot that was a dual man etc etc but Ericka understood Din was learning to size up his abilities and knew he would have lost so only she did not mock him but instead went right to work telling him every weakness she could see while she rained death upon all who would try to overwhelm Din. Din clashed with the demon lord and had to give space for the mall hammer his shot was not effective meaning the blasted thing had high armer skill so melee it had to be he was going for a nice sharp stab for a joint or get ahold of the thing and wrench a joint etc his spin was interrupted by the demon leaching his leg just abit further and sinking its body weight down a tad to make a heavy but useable leg which than allowed a back of shoulder to shoulder push making Din have to step over the leg or fall Din stepped and turned to meet the elbow that was almost at his skull. he than moved in a circle locking the joint and getting a throw. disarming his opponent but getting flipped to the ground as well before he could catch his breath he had to doge a boot crashing at his face and than he in mid spin tried to angle an up kick or knee shield it ended up being a knee shield which he turned into a sweep attempt but failed. a gauntlet to the face later and he had to apply guard to avoid getting smashed he than reached for his opponents dagger while applying a triangle this made the demon lord move into an arm break followed by a neck break Din rose to his feet to applause and encircled himself with a wall of light to check his surroundings Ericka was a blur around him killing everything that moved she easily out killed him tenfold but he took down the big guy. was all he could say for that part. the rest of the humans in his charge were forming a weak line of spearmen and gunman to try to walk to were Din was but Din told them to hold he did not want them getting into this yet he was forming an idiot idea 😂.

His bright idea was to push forward and the demons encircling him would be therefore encircled by his team. the problem was he would than have to be in heavy armer taking more effort from him a lot more and his chakra was already running low. Ericka checked Dins chakra reserve on her reader and realized he is out of gas he has been for a long time and her buff spell has been out of effect for a long time now she had no idea how he was pressing on at all. Din pushed forward every ounce of him believing Ericka's boost was still in effect at a complete loss of time running on grit the battle rapidly deteriorated into an ancient style melee with guns and cannon Ericka finally heard back from the navy they were establishing and evacuation area the overall battle was lost and worse yet the demons were not made by the Syrithians they came from the anti verse which is the always trying to take over the universe in different points of contact this time it sent hoards of demons last time it sent Syrithians the while time the humans thought the Syrithians made them for an army. the planet was facing a full scale invasion and would have to be fought over by orbital space stations manned by the navy who would be fighting a constant. space battle till the end of their fleet or that fleet. she of course did not tell Din this news he was on such a role and Light singers don't really do the whole news.thing anyway lbvs they literally prefer to fight in the dark till call back time Din was out of breath and in pain but finally able to stop fighting for a small window he examined the battle and admired his and Ericka's handy work the small crew of men and women left were clinging to be of assistance and. just near by for dear life. The ground was littered with bodies the building they fought by was in ruins the field luckily had plenty of hills not to deep but deep enough to make it a melee which is the only reason the humans stood that day as the artillery was not wasted on mixed groups the demons were prideful and preferred to take humans from melees to use as flesh material to make more Syrithians whole time humans are only just now starting to even see that there is a connection between the demons and their creations they are very much in the dark. A super flash of light put an end to the whole event as the navy beamed up all allies leaving the demon hoard to get obliterated by Buster 🔥 the whole hoard got lit up..
