"Fuck off." Nancy spat directly at his face.
He scoffed. "You're a naïve girl…" He shook his head abruptly and disgustedly before bringing himself closer to her ear to whisper, "I'll make sure you regret everything." He pulled back and looked at her flustered and vulnerable state.
She had tried this for a few minutes. But Sebastian had tried this all his life. A chip, a mere computer, was nothing in front of him. He was the one who helped Roth during Nancy's surgery to begin with. It was too bold of Nancy to think that she had a chance when she was at level 3.
"Roth programmed it hastily, no?" Sebastian said, pulling both her wrists to the center such that one of his hands would be able to grip both at once.
Nancy tried to pull away with all her strength but in vain.

Nancy didn't know if she was just supposed to stay put and wait for the chip to do its work or not.
