Big Sword nodded without changing his expression and added, "My brother Short Sword is right. Do you want these people…" He pointed at the people in line who were watching them. "To face danger because of our negligence? Even if we let them enter without having an authenticity of their identity, no one will have a better sleep tonight."
"Okay," interrupted the blindfolded man. "We will do as you say."
Harisson was stunned, and so were the other wealthy.
They wanted to stop him, but it would only escalate, possibly even making Lucas more displeased.
They had no choice and were hopeless about it.
They could only hope Lucas would forgive them once they entered the City.
"I want to take a rest so badly, so I'm not amused by this conflict anymore," murmured Lucas, but enough for the Guards to hear it.
