Chapter 32 - The Village Academy I

Fang Yuan left the house alone early that morning, once he reached the academy he found out that there were already quite a few students who had reached even before them. He went and sat on the last bench beside the window without interacting with anyone.

Soon the time for the class to start arrived. All the students had arrived and sat wherever they desired.

The academy elder arrived and started the class.

"Out of the hundred teens that joined the Awakening Ceremony, only you fifty-seven were found out to have cultivating talent. The clan will do its best to provide you with sufficient cultivating resources and guide you in your cultivating journey. You young people now bear the responsibility and hope of the clan. Focus during the classes and cultivate hard without slacking off."

After this little opening speech, the academy elder started the class. "In our world, people can be divided into two types – the first being mortals, they do not have any talent to cultivate and the second being those who have the talent to cultivate, they are called Gu Masters."

"The 'Way of Gu' originated from the Immemorial Antiquity Era, and Ren Zu was the first Human Gu Master who used Gu Worms."

"In the Immemorial Antiquity Era, Ren Zu along with his children changed the structure of the Gu World and later through generation after generation there have been many Gu Masters who used, developed and refined Gu in many different ways, which taught us new ways in which we can us Gu and showed us new paths."

"That is the reason why it is said - Humans are clever in tens of thousands of ways while Gu is the true refined essences of Heaven and Earth."

The academy elder went on to give some examples of famous Gu Masters of the Gu Yue clan who had researched and found new Gu worms for the clan and how those Gu worms had helped the clan in various ways.

Soon the class over and the academy elder reminded the students to go home and look up the names of the Gu Yue clan Gu Masters which he had mentioned during the class and ask the elders at home if they had used any of the Gu worms which were mentioned in today's class and how it had helped them. That way the students will have a deeper understanding of just how important it is to keep making progress in the research of Gu.

As soon as the academy elder finished and left the class. The students started forming groups and introducing themselves to each other. The student who sat in front of Fang Yuan turned around to introduce himself, who knows if they hit it off they could become friends?

But what greeted him was… an empty desk.

Looking at the confusion-filled face of the boy, a girl who sat at the neighboring desk of Fang Yuan said "He jumped out of the window as soon as the elder left."

Hearing this the boy's jaw dropped. 'Brother is there a need for you to be in such a hurry to leave? Why are you acting as if you are escaping from prison?'

The boy was right Fang Yuan was indeed in a hurry.

The reason for that was Flower Wink Monk's inheritance. He had gotten the Liquor Worm now he just needed to find the right time to go and explore the rest of the Flower Wine Monk's inheritance. He had decided that although he had the system now and could get any Gu worms that he wanted from it, it wouldn't be good for him to depend on it for everything. Also getting things from the system required primeval stones which weren't feasible for the current him as he didn't have many primeval stones. Hence he decided to keep his other avenues open like the Flower Wine Monk inheritance. Not only would it help him get Gu worms but it would also him gain much-needed experience.

After the class was over Fang Yuan went to get himself a dorm room. Completing the necessary procedures he got the key to his room. Later he went back home to get all his necessary things and moved into the dorm that very same day. By the time he completed all this, it was already evening.

Once everything was settled Fang Yuan went straight to the tavern.

"Shopkeeper, a jar of aged wine." Fang Yuan ordered and placed a small piece of primeval stone on the counter. These primeval stones were from Mother Shen, he had her swindle some off from the house accounts and some from the time when he had asked her to change the furniture of his room before the Awakening Ceremony and the main reason he had asked to change the furniture in his room was that he needed a proper and secure place to hid the primeval stones from Flower Wine Monk's inheritance, anyway what he had told Mother Shen was that he needed a secure place to hide the stuff which he bought for Shen Cui and the fool bought it. She had gotten him a nice piece of furniture with a well-hidden compartment. When Fang Yuan left the house he took all the primeval stones that Mother Shen had stashed in that furniture. 'A pity that I cant move that furniture into my dorm.' Fang Yuan thought a little dejectedly.

These last few days the food for Liquor Worm was arranged through Shen Cui, he would ask her to sneak a jar of wine into his room every night. And as for Invoke Lust Gu, its food was lust which he would collect from the four girls and after his daily activities with the girls, these past few days Invoke Lust Gu was more than full as such it was good for quite a while.

After getting what he wanted Fang Yuan left the village, making sure that no one had followed him he reached the boulder which hid Flower Wink Monk's inheritance.

Once inside he heard some faint noises.
