Chapter 33 - The Village Academy II

"Try touching it?"

"You have already been poisoned by my Single Gate Poison Gu. Without my other Gu that acts as the counterpart to it, after seven days you will turn into pus and blood and die."

"To compare myself to Sir Flower Wine, I'm just a fart! I must have been unwell in the head, to actually not recognize such a great person and offended Sir Flower Wine. Sir Flower Wine, please remember my clan's generous hospitality earlier and spare my life!"

The scene had been replaying itself over and over on the wall. Looking at it Fang Yuan firmed his mind and brought up the system. He selected the Transactions Tab and bought two Gu worms.

One of them was called Transfer Gu and the other was Photo-audio Gu.

The Transfer Gu was about as big as half of a person's little finger, it was cylindrical with a little needle sticking out its center in the bottom.

Once the images on the wall were about to start playing again Fang Yuan stuck the needle protruding out of the bottom of Transfer Gu into the Photo-audio Gu hiding in the stone wall and activated it by supplying his primeval essence into it.

When the scene reached the point where the Flower Wine Monk killed the fourth generation clan head with a single punch, he stopped supplying his primeval essence and pulled out Transfer Gu.

After that, he took out the new Photo-audio Gu and forced it to eat the Transfer Gu. Once it was done he supplied it with primeval essence and it played out the scene from the beginning until when the Flower Wine Monk killed the fourth generation clan head with a single punch.

He had recorded only until here and didn't record the scenes of the Flower Wine Monk battling and killing more of the Gu Yue clan elders because towards the end one could see that Flower Wine Monk was gravely injured as he ran away and didn't kill all of the elders. As such people might start suspecting that the Flower Wink Monk had died somewhere here on the Qing Mao Mountain possibly even near the Gu Yue village as he had disappeared after his fight with the fourth generation clan head.

Fang Yuan didn't want to risk it as such he only had the Transfer Gu record until here. After which he had the Photo-audio eat it, there were other ways in which he could have transferred the images, like stabbing it in the same way he did before to collect the images but he didn't do this because the Transfer Gu used his primeval energy to store the images and if he had simply done like before then it could be traced back to him, but if the Photo-audio Gu ate it then it would be dissolved and digested. Thereby lowering the chances for it to be traced back to him.

Fang Yuan had thought of this when he was making plans for his future cultivation. This was because until he got his hands on his family inheritance he needed funds and not only that it was better for him to start gathering funds as soon as possible and as much as possible for his future when he decided to leave the Gu Yue Village. As such he had decided to have this prepared now and then sell it at the right time to Jia Jin Sheng.

Fang Yuan collected the Photo-audio Gu hiding in the stone wall and sold it to the system.

The Transfer Gu and Photo-audio Gu had cost Fang Yuan fifteen primeval stones. As they were one-time-use Gu they were cheap. But for the current Fang Yuan, they were quite costly as his current assets only amounted to forty-five primeval stones. The Transfer Gu can only be used to store images once and then it can be used to share the information as many times as possible but it couldn't store any other images than the ones already stored inside it. And Photo-audio Gu was similar it can only record images once but it can keep playing these images again and again.

After selling Flower Wine Monk's Photo-audio Gu to the system he got ten primeval stones in return. Thus having twenty-five primeval stones in the system and fifteen back in his room which he had gotten from Flower Wine Monk bringing his total assets up to forty primeval stones.

Having sorted his first task out, Fang Yuan carried out another transaction, and this time he bought a rock pick hammer from the system. He did this as he didn't have a suitable Gu right now with him. While he could have bought one from the system it would have been expensive and he also needed to have considered its feeding costs, his current financial situation didn't allow him to buy a Gu just to dig a hole. While a hammer was not only cheap it easier to use too and he didn't need to worry about feeding it and it was not like he was buying the hammer from anyone in the village as such no one would know about this either. As such after paying the price of one small piece of primeval stone (which he had swindled from Mother Shen) Fang Yuan got a rock pick hammer from the system.

Fang Yuan didn't have any worries about using this hammer, as noise would be drowned by the waterfall outside, and also as a precaution, he had bought a thick piece of cloth with him which he tied to the flat end of the hammer. And then started using it on the wall which was playing the images earlier, as this was the wall that hid the entrance to the Flower Wine Monk's inheritance. After using it for a while Fang Yuan switched to the pointed end, he altered between the pointed end and flat end, he used the flat end to make cracks and then used to pointed end to widen them up more by digging into it.

As such he continued working hard until late at night at which point he stopped. He hid the rock pick hammer in a corner and then he took out some rock powder and spread it around the entrance of the secret cave. At the same time, he spread a layer on the rock crack entrance.

After coming out of the crack he opened the aged wine jar, took a mouthful, and purposely spilled some of the liquor, getting it on his clothes and making him smell of alcohol.

Carrying the wine, he went back to the village, and upon reaching the school hostel, it was exactly midnight.

Upon returning he cleaned up and went to sleep.
