Chapter 76: Special Device
"Why are you yelling so loudly? Do you know how disrespectful you are? You're almost forty and still don't have any children, and that's not the worst part. The problem is, you're always running around in that tattered battle suit, risking your life."
Howard kicked Tony over with a single foot, scolding loudly, "Do you know that if you die, the Stark family will end? Howard should be wishing he could climb up and beat you."
Tony looked bewildered by the scolding, sitting on the ground and shouting, "What do you care if the Stark family has descendants or not? Who are you, anyway?"
"When you find your father's murderer, I'll tell you who I am."
Howard was almost died again out of anger, snorted coldly, activated his suit, and flew towards the spaceship in the sky. Frank shook his head and followed back to the spaceship.
Tony wanted to pursue, but was stopped by Psylocke, "Mr. Stark, you're nearly forty and can't have children. It's dangerous up there. Please don't risk your life."
"It's not that I can't have children, I just don't want to."
Tony shouted in frustration, recalling everything that happened before and realizing that he didn't feel angry at all being attacked by the other side. Instead, he felt a strange warmth.
"Could I have some weird special preference?"
Tony shivered, quickly called Nick Fury, and yelled, "Fury, you must tell me how my father died!"
Leaving aside Tony's possible peculiar preferences, four of the abominations were dead, and only one was left—Blonsky. He was being beaten around by the Hulk.
However, Blonsky didn't give up. He roared and fought back against the Hulk. He was a true warrior, and he wouldn't admit defeat until the very end.
At this time, Wolverine, Dr. Banner, Barton, and others surrounded them, ready to finish Blonsky off and end this damned battle.
"That's military property. You're not allowed to kill him."
General Ross saw the situation and immediately shouted from the armed helicopter. As soon as he finished shouting, he spat out blood, and Barton couldn't help but sneer, "Are you trying to act pitiful or file a false claim?"
Naturally, Hulk wouldn't pay attention to General Ross, and he kept pummeling Blonsky. Barton asked Nick Fury through the communicator, "Director, what should we do?"
Nick Fury said, "Don't kill Blonsky; capture him. As for the rest, I'll negotiate with the military."
"Understood."
Barton was about to take action when, at that moment, six Quinjets flew from the distance toward their location. Nick Fury was stunned. Didn't the military cancel the bombing?
The military didn't come to bomb Broadway Avenue. Their target was the flying ship in the sky. They loudly warned, "You are violating American airspace. Land immediately for inspection; otherwise, we will launch an attack."
Trask and the others on the ship laughed. Trask answered decisively, "Get lost."
As they spoke, Trask activated the Magnetic device on the ship—it was circular in shape and had abilities similar to Magneto's power, a derivative technology of the Sentinel robots.
With the new technology from Trask Industries, Trask made rapid progress. In just a few years, he would be able to create real Sentinel robots.
The military was not happy with Trask's response. A general ordered, "Shoot it down."
Following the command, all six Quinjets pressed their buttons, and six air-to-air missiles streaked with long white tails shot towards the ship.
"Let me show you what true technology is."
Trask snorted coldly, and the circular device in front of him quickly spun, enveloping the six missiles with a powerful magnetic force.
Immediately after, the six missiles drew a circle in the air, flying back towards the Quinjets.
The Quinjets hurriedly evaded but couldn't escape the air-to-air missiles. The next second, six huge fireballs appeared in the sky.
Everyone was stunned. Why did this scene seem so familiar? Didn't this happen before?
"Magneto!"
Nick Fury, General Ross, and others exclaimed in surprise. Nick Fury immediately sent someone to check if Magneto had escaped from the Raft prison.
The Raft was a prison run by S.H.I.E.L.D. to house dangerous criminals and superpowered offenders. It was located underwater, and both Magneto and the captured mutants were kept there. Magneto had his private plastic-glass cell—located on the right side of the Raft, connected through plastic corridors, not inside the prison itself.
"The Knight of Peace may advocate for peace, but that doesn't mean were pushovers."
Accompanied by this metallic voice, the ship quickly ascended, soon disappearing from satellite and radar surveillance.
General Ross cursed angrily but was helpless. The other side had Magneto's abilities, so even finding him would be useless.
"This world is becoming more and more unfamiliar."
Barton shook his head and joined Wolverine, Dr. Banner, and others in surrounding Blonsky. Hulk was a bit displeased and kicked a nearby car away.
"A bunch of weaklings."
Hulk cursed and ran off into the distance. He wasn't interested in ganging up on Blonsky with the others. After all, Blonsky was just a defeated underling—Hulk had his pride.
Everyone was dumbfounded and could only continue attacking Blonsky with determination. Barton glanced at Dr. Banner and couldn't help but sigh.
Dr. Banner was displeased, "What's that look?"
That look you have when you see someone pathetic.
"You guys look the same, but why is there such a big difference in strength?"
Wolverine sneered, "One is a super hunk, and the other is a comic character. They're not in the same league at all."
"I'm not a comic character."
Dr. Banner tried to prove himself, and with all his effort, he lunged at Blonsky. But the next second, he was sent flying back even faster than before and slammed onto the ground.
"You are a comic character."
Tony flew past Dr. Banner and joined the battle. At the same time, the Quinjets Fury mentioned finally arrived to provide support.
With everyone's effort, Blonsky was finally defeated and fell unconscious on the ground.
The "Abomination's Rebellion" officially came to an end, and the surrounding area had turned into ruins, with flames and shattered buildings everywhere.
It's worth mentioning that at this moment, besides the Quinjets, there were also three TV station helicopters in the sky. Meanwhile, many journalists were filming and competing for firsthand information outside the police cordon.
Journalists were always fast.
"Blonsky is under our military jurisdiction; he belongs to us."
General Ross got off the helicopter and shouted at the S.H.I.E.L.D. personnel. Nick Fury's mocking voice came through the loudspeaker, "General Ross, I think you should deal with the reporters and military court first."
"Reporters and military court?"
General Ross was dumbfounded, about to say something, but a large number of reporters surrounded them and asked, "General Ross, why did your military create such a terrifying monster? Was it approved by Congress?"
"Will the military give an explanation for the casualties here?"
"Shouldn't the United States military be responsible for the losses here?"
"Can you tell us, besides bringing disasters, what's the use of the United States military?"
