Chapter 20: Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy

Some creatures had appeared before us. Those creatures had several different forms.

"Is this your summoned creature for training again, Nostradamus?!"

"Nay-nay! Moreover," she started to say again. "Looks like, they summoned thy previous enemies!"

When I looked again at those creatures, I could see some of the creatures that I had recognized before.

(Goblins and a harpy are here? I didn't expect they appear before me!)

Then, I saw some other creatures. I saw two different creatures that I didn't see before. The first creature has a body like a werewolf. The second creature is similar to a female creature with fire surrounding it.

"Nostradamus, do you know about those two creatures??"

"Ah!" she wore an expression as if she knew something. "They are werewolf and djinn. I can't believe they are here!" she laughed afterward.

"Don't say as if this is easy!" I said on serious condition. "I knew some of the creatures. But, how do we kill werewolf and djin?!"

"That's an easy peasy lemon squeezy task! Moreover," she started with a joyful tone. "We needed to kill. All of them. Smack like thy smacked the flies!" she said with a smile.

She started to attack. Quick as a bolt of lightning, she charged at one of the scimitar-wielding goblins. She stabbed the heart goblin with her right hand. She stabbed until her right hand penetrated the back of goblin.

*Schrock!*

The sound of flesh being torn apart was clear. Not only that, Nostradamus took the goblin's heart from its chest. Casually, she kicked the goblin's corpse away.

The monsters were moved away from Nostradamus due to her actions. Even so, they looked my way. Realizing that I was being targeted, I started to get into a stance.

Nostradamus began to say to me again,

"I would take care of the werewolf and djin. Thou took care of the rest, ok!"

She started chasing her prey. Leaving me with two goblins that I must kill it.

(Rilex! Just do as usual in the previous!) I started to focus on my enemies.

I started with what they have. Everything. Weapons, movements, until the direction of their attacks. Not only that, I saw the environment and the weapons I could use... like options for the road to Rome.

(I made up my mind!) I started to attack them.

I started running towards them. They also followed to attack them.

When my distance from them was six meters apart, I started reaching for fist-sized rocks. With alacrity, I threw it at one of the two goblins that wielded another scimitar sword.

*Swoosh!*

The rock was dashed very fast. Like being thrown by a slingshot. As a result, one goblin didn't anticipate my throw and got hit by it.

*Bam!*

Finding that one of the goblins had been hit by my surprise attack, I dashed to that goblin. When I was in front of it, I immediately hit its nose. In a swift momentum, I grabbed his scimitar. Grabbed while stabbing its windpipe.

*Schrock!*

Its blood began to spurt in all directions, including to my body. Seeing that, the remaining goblin intended to attack me with its scimitar.

Its scimitar stuck into my flesh shield. Wasting no time, I started grabbing its head and punching its throat. The fist I gave, made the goblin unable to breathe instantly. In the end, the goblin didn't move at all. Even so, I stabbed the goblin in the abdomen. Making the goblin's life disappeared in an instant.

"Not hard as previous. Is it a result of her training before, huh??" I started to question it.

(No! Don't be a cocky person! There were werewolf and djin who charged us before!) I tried to look at Nostradamus's presence.

I started to see the state of Nostradamus. When I saw her, she was still fighting against those two creatures. Realizing these conditions, I began to observe them.

(Since I don't know about their characteristics yet, I'd better observe them a little longer!) I watched the fight closely.

When I saw it, the werewolf's movements were extremely agile. Not only agile, but its movements are also strong. I could see clearly where the werewolf targeted the vital points and the movements of Nostradamus. Even so, the werewolf also stopped for ten seconds to strike back Nostradamus.

(There's a rest break for its attacks, huh? Kinda like a cool-down break in a game when I had fought the boss!) I started to remember that.

Not only werewolf, but I also observed the movement attacks of the djinn. The djinn threw several fireballs at Nostradamus. Not only that, the djinn is a ranged-type attacker that It gave protect werewolf.

(Typical of support or mage, huh? It fits with its characteristics.) I started to study its attack patterns.

I started observing again. Right now, I observed the Nostradamus. Even so, Nostradamus isn't difficulted to avoid those attacks. She displayed a sense of excitement on her face when the attack of enemies came before her.

(Is she the type of battle-maniac person?!) I was a little surprised by her attitude toward their attacks.

"Thou'rt watching the way I fought, huh?"

Hearing her comments, I said,

"Well!" I said in a cynical tone. "Once in a while, I wanted to see you suffer. Unfortunately, there's no popcorn here to accompany this action drama!"

"Thou'rt got a sharp mouth, brat!" she said irritably. "Fine! Just watch if thou can. Oh, yeah! Pass me the scimitar goblin!"

Hearing that command, I threw another scimitar at her. To be precise, I threw it toward her head.

*Swoosh!*

Even so, she was able to casually accepted it. When she accepted it, she began to speak again,

"Damn it!!" she said irritably again. "Next time, throw it properly, you stupid pupil!"

"Yeah!" I said with a cynical again. "T-That's my annoyance and love at you for a dream I had before!"

"You goddamn no-brain pupil!" she started angrily. "You'd made the wrong idea for this one!"

Even so, she still fought the creatures. Then, I started to see her say something...

(What's she doing? Is she began to do something??) I was confused by her.

After Nostradamus did that, she spoke to me again,

"Watch and learn, my pupil!" She started to move again.

She started attacking with the scimitar I gave her before. Her first target was a werewolf. She started swinging her sword. Even so, her sword style doesn't look like swordplay. She moved left, right, until jump while attacking the werewolf. Like dancing with her opponent in the garden of a battlefield.

Despite her strange fighting style, she could make her attacks match her foes. In fact, on several occasions, her attacks hit the werewolf's body several times.

(Her fighting style is so weird! Did she really play her enemies on purpose?!) I started to get surprised.

Not only saw her attack, I saw her footsteps. Her footsteps occasionally had tiptoe. Occasionally stood with one foot she had. Moreover, It worked especially the foes became difficult to aiming her feet.

The attacks that were launched also seem gentle. Gentle but on target to some of the werewolf's vital spots. As a result, the werewolf had been bled in its body profusely.

(She could injure that werewolf... only with a scimitar goblin?!) I was shocked and amazed at the same time.

Gradually, the movement of the werewolf began to slow down. This was caused by several attacks launched by Nostradamus. Until finally... she stabbed the werewolf's neck.

*Schrock!*

After stabbing the neck of the werewolf, she aimed for the djinn. Quickly, she ran towards the djinn.

Even so, the djinn wasn't without resistance. The djin struck with several fireballs at Nostradamus.

Even though the attacks were launched very much, Nostradamus didn't flinch and kept going. She could even dodge the attacks of the djin skillfully.

Realizing that its attacks had failed, the djinn started throwing huge blue fireballs. I who saw that attack, reflexly said,

"Look out, Nostradamus!" I said loudly.

Allthough I told her, what I said before, she didn't heed. She charged forward as if nothing had happened to her.

The Djin started throwing its attacks. The attack shot quickly towards Nostradamus. At the same time, Nostradamus paid no heed to that attack.

When the distance between her and its attacks was only five meters away, she threw the knife away suddenly. She began to say,

"Eat these throw scimitar!"

The sword headed towards the djinn. There was a huge bang from the clashing attacks.

*Boom!*

Due to the explosion, I reflexly covered my face to avoid the effects of the explosion.

Even so, in a flash sight I had, I saw Nostradamus jump into the djinn. Once in front of the djinn, she stabbed the djin's chest with her right hand. Stabbing its right in the heart of the djinn.

*Schrock!*

After stabbing the heart of the djinn, she immediately drew and splattered her right hand which was covered in the djinn's blood on the ground. Like the process of piercing a katana through foe's body.

After a moment of silence, she spoke to me again,

"So, how are thy observations, my beloved student?" she gave me a cold smile.
