The Quiet Lover(Part 3)

Right after the school bells ring; marking the end of the school session, Pierre approaches his best friend that was still looking pale; seems what he saw are likely more shocking than he could handle.

He sits right in front of him before peeking at Ron's face; still worried about his sudden change.

"Ron? What happen? What are you trying say to me this morning; before Miss Kay steps in?"

"I don't now… but…" just before Ron continues his words; a tap on Pierre's shoulders got his attention. He saw a girl he bumps into when he was seeking for Sophie in the library earlier; was standing behind him with a smile.

"Amanda? What brings you here?" Pierre that was still in shock with the girl's sudden appearance remembers about Ron's condition.

"I was just walking by and saw you here; I was thinking about asking you if you would like to…"

"Amanda... Can we just talk another time? I think this is not the right…"

"I…I need to use the restroom." Ron suddenly rises from his seat and dashes out of the classroom before Pierre can say anything; a shadow was staring at him from behind the classroom's back door.

"What the heck?" Ron splashes some water from the restroom tap to his face a few times before taking a deep breath; he tries to recall what he saw in the classroom. When Amanda arrive at the classroom; somehow he saw a shadow lurking behind the back door with a pair of eyes as white without any sight of a black pupil staring straight at him.

"Did the thing somehow know that I saw it; and trying to get back at me?" he was staring into his own reflection in front of the restroom's mirror as he speaks.

"What happens to you is just destined to happen." A voice coming from nowhere starts to be heard by him;

"Who are you? Why can't I see you? What do you mean by being destined?" He starts to panic as he turns around to see where that voice was coming from; but it was useless as he see or even sense nothing around him.

"It's useless to look for me as you can never find me here; if you really want to see me, come to the empty classroom after class session and I'll explain everything you needed to know."

"Ron? Are you okay, man? Why are freaking out like that?" Ron shook his head when Pierre rushes into the room to him.

"Pierre, Pierre! Did you hear that voice just now?" Ron grabs his friend's shoulders in panic as his eyes were still lurking around the room; freaking out in pale expressions.

"What voice? The only voice I could hear since then was yours."

"I told you it's useless, since you're the only one that can hear me."

"That! That voice! Can't you hear that; a girl's voice." Pierre pause a second before shaking his head lightly.

"No.. I didn't hear anything except for your voice in here; Ron. Calm down, will you? Or do you want to speak to our counselor teacher?" Ron shook his head and kept his silence as he figures what was happening to him and Pierre can help him in any way even if he wanted to.

"Nah… I'm good. Just freak out a bit by some odd things."

"What do you mean?"

"I think I've been watching too many horror flicks for the past few days and starts to give myself a freak in anything I see."

"Like; seriously? I never had seen you being so freak out like that before, Ron. For what I have known you before you're the bravest kid ever; what kind of horror flicks did you watch anyway; that freaks you out like that?"Ron forced a smile at his friend as he looks down at his feet.

"Sorry to make you worry, earlier; Pierre." They both make their way back to the classroom as the next class was just about to start.

"Nah… it's okay. Just… if there's just anything that I can do for you, do let me know."

"Sure thing…" Ron gives him a wink with a smirk.

Right after the last class was over; as promised Ron had gone to the empty classroom to get some answers. He arrives in front of the classroom door with his hand grips tightly; he was indeed nervous about what he was about to see or hear.

"I'm here… as promised, now tell me what I have to know." He takes a deep breath as tries to calm his selves down; he just stares blankly at the closed door.

"You came…" a voice coming from behind him makes Ron shudder and turns in shock as he saw who it was.

"It's you!" His face turns pale at a blink of eye as he falls at the floor in shock and pointing at the girl in front of him. It was the same girl he saw vanished in the lobby the other day.

"Please… listen to me." He heard her spoke but didn't saw the girl moving her lips at all; makes him more freak out. He shuts his eyes tightly.

"Ron; please hear me!"

"What? You know my name?" He slowly opens his eyes but still felt frightened.

"And your friend, Pierre…"

"But how…"

"I don't have much time to explain it to you now."

"What do you mean by that?"

"You'll know about it by tomorrow; but for now, you need to stay close to Pierre and make sure he stays away from Jin."

"Jinni? But why?"

"For now, that was the only thing I could tell you; I'll let you know when the time comes." Before Ron could say anything, the girl vanished again as a slight winds blow thought classroom corridor.

A few days later, Ron was about came up to Pierre to meet up with Jinni for their bet the other day. Pierre brought Sophie with him for the first time to meet up with Jinni and Ron.

'Is it really okay for me to come along?' Sophie slips a note trough Pierre's hands as they were walking hand-in-hand.

"You know we still have to win the bet, don't you?" Sophie smile bashfully as gripping on Pierre's arms tightly. Since their agreement that day, the relationships between the both has been developing quite fast even in secrecy.

"Yo, bro! Looks like we have a winner!" Ron's loud voice echoed as he approaches them as glace at Jinni who walking behind him.

"Shut it, will you!" Jin's fierce tone makes Ron back off a bit; as a tease, before he turns to his devilish smirk and talk in a low voice.

"Don't you dare go back on your words… A deal is a deal."

"Yeah… I know…" He proceeds to ignores Ron and got the keys from his pocket before handed it to Pierre.

"Just make sure to take good care of her." Jinni sounds serious with his words.

"No worries…" Pierre smirks as he glances at Sophie who was still looking down; Jinni just smirk at Sophie's reaction before turn around to go.

"What's with that expression? Did he just got dump or something?" Jinni's expressions somehow makes Ron pissed off even more.

"Just let him be… ah, I still didn't have the chance to introduce you guys to each other; Ron, this is Sophie, and Sophie; this is Ron."

"Finally! Nice to meet you… You!" Ron's expressions turns pale as he realize the person before him was the same person he met in front of the empty classroom a few days ago.
