"Ron? What's the matter?"
'Please…' Ron heard the same voice from the other day playing from inside his head as Sophie stares at him; makes him takes a double thought.
"Hahaha!"
"Ron?" His sudden laugh freaks his friends out.
"I was just kidding! Geez, you should take a look at your faces!"
"Ron!"
"She was as authentic looking as I expect!"
"Seriously, authentic?"
"Okay, I was just joking!"
"She looks nicer than I imagine. Anyway, nice to meet you too, Sophie."
'Thank you…' Sophie smile and nods slowly as takes Ron's hand for a handshakes.
"You're lucky enough that Sophie's not the type to be easily triggered by others."
"Yeah… lucky me…" Ron murmurs as Sophie and Pierre walks in front of him; towards 'the reward'.
Right after school, Ron stands still in front of the empty classroom where he met Sophie the other day.
'Did I make you wait long?' the voice was heard again; he turns around and Sophie was already standing in front of him.
"I was just here, a moment ago."
'Did you figure out what I was saying earlier?'
"Yes, and it has something to do with Jin, isn't it?" Sophie just nod before entering the empty classroom; Ron follow her inside without hesitate.
'I'll tell you the truth like I promised you.' She walks to the front room and paused for a while before continuing.
'I was actually a victim of my stepfather's cult plan. That's the reason for I became mute; it was supposed to be a secret cult. And cutting my tongue was supposed to be one of the rules if I wanted to have 'special' gifted. I never did agreed with him but he forced me to as he said he got a vision that I was the perfect person to receive the gifted that is to talk to the spirit world.'
"So, he cuts your tongue?" Sophie nods as finally turn to face Ron; her eyes were teary.
"Didn't your mom say anything about it?"
'She was madly in love with my stepdad; and just agrees with everything he said. I suspected dad did cast some spell on her.' She cast her gaze to the floor as she mentioning about her mom.
"What's all this has to do with Pierre and Jinny?" Sophie paused for a while before approaching Ron that was already standing statically.
'This gifted of mine, unfortunately have a priced to be paid for it; I need to find someone who is attached to me willingly to sacrifices his soul so I won't be attached to this empty classroom.'
"What? Why this classroom? Don't tell me there's something in here?"
'There used to… cause by my gifted; I was trick by a bad spirit that was lurking here to attached my soul instead to free himself.'
"If what are saying here was true, then; why do you choose Pierre and Jinny?"
"So… Sophie was hoping to take advantage of Pierre's feeling for her?" Ron cast his gaze across the wide school field as leaning on the school's wall.
"Ron! What's the matter, dude? Why did you call me here this late?" It was already dusk when Jinny arrive there.
'But… the real deal was Jinny; as he was the original soul of the empty classroom.' He cast his gaze at Jinny before sighing.
"Nothing, I was just wanted to see the sunset with you today. Besides, your home aren't that far from school either; so you can go back late than anyone else."
"That does sound legit. But, seeing the sunset?"
"Enough chit chat. I know a better place to get a great view of the sunset; follow me." Ron leads the way as Jinny follows him with mere confusion on his face.
'So… he didn't remember this classroom?' He enters the empty room silently as Jinny still following him from behind.
'Sophie! Do you hear me? He's here.'
'Thank you… Please take good care of Pierre for me.'
"What are you talking about?" Suddenly Ron was dragged out forcefully from the room by an unseen forced; leaving Jinny alone and freaked out.
"What happen? Ron! Where are you going?" The door were shut tight right after Ron were outside of the room.
"Ouch! Sophie! What are you trying to do? Sophie, open this freaking door!" Ron was kicking and forcefully trying to open up the door as calling out for her but neither of it works.
"Just take care of Pierre for me… help him to forget about me; he's a good guy. He'll found someone way better than me. Thank you for everything, Ron… you're a good friend. Good bye." Her last words woke him from his sudden nap leaning at the classroom's door.
"Sophie?" When he woke up, it was already morning; both Sophie and Jinny had disappeared without a trace. Since then, Pierre has been lingering along the library and the places he used to go with Sophie to look for her.
Ron has never been himself again; he always tries to avoid others and looking down constantly.
