Mack sighed as he laid against the bar. It was 774 making it two years since he got to fairy tail. He looked at his screen in front of him.

Strength - E 456

Vitality - E 487

Dexterity - E 460

Speed - E 479

Magic - C 623

He hasn't done much the past year. He hung out with Cana a lot but never really talked with others. He did more missions and even became a C-Rank but only takes C-Rank with Cana when they aren't doing D-Ranks. He noticed no one else get banned from doing missions but him and he concluded it was due to his anger.

He learned that the skill Wrath actually worked. It pissed him off that a stupid skill was getting him in trouble but didn't know what to do so he usually didn't focus on it.

He also learned more skills than what he had also ranking four of them up.

<Quick Fire> G

Quickly gather fire in your hand(s) to deliver a quick jab and painful jab!

<Static> G

Send a shock towards your target within three meters.

<Demon Gauntlet> H

Gather fire around your hand to increase all damage and enhance all fire magic!

<Magma Liquidation> I

Using massive amounts of mana to liquify your body into magma!

<Shinning Jewels> H

Launch a bunch of little exploding orbs of lightning quickly!

<Ring Of Lightning> H

Create a large magical circle of lightning that traps those in it!

<Zeus's Canon> I

Gather lightning in your hands to unleash a large violent blast!

Development Skills -

<Fire Demon> G

Increase in fire magic and fire resistance! Major increase in all stat growth! Less damage taken from demon attacks but more from holy attacks!

<Lightning God> G

Increase in Lightning magic and Lightning resistance! Major increase in all stat growth! Less damage taken from holy attacks but more from demon attacks!

<Wrath> G

Increase in all stats the angrier you are! More likely to let rage control you! Can't always control even the smallest amount of rage!

Mack watched as Makarov and some dude named Ivan argued. He didn't know who Ivan was but he did know he was in the guild. From what he understands is that Ivan is an S-Rank mage of Fairy Tail and doesn't listen to Makarov. Mack never understood why they fought until he noticed someone with them. A sacred looking blond boy.

The boy seemed older than Mack but he looked angry and scared as Ivan yelled at Makarov. After a few seconds Ivan said something that made Makarov gain a look of pain before he stormed out. Mack watched Ivan run out of the guild before looking at Makarov and the kid. Makarov put his hand on the kids shoulder.

The kid cried as he and the blond boy hugged. Mack was confused who the kid was having never seen him before. Makarov looked over at Mack and waved him over. Mack wasn't gonna argue wanting to see who the boy was himself.

"Mack I want you to meet someone. This is Laxus. My grandson." Mack's eyes widened. He looked back and forth between both of them. How had he never known Makarov had a grandson?! He didn't even know he had a kid?! "Yes, yes it's a shock. Laxus has been a member for years and is even a C-Rank mage. Though now he is already a B-Rank."

Mack was a little surprised to see this young maybe 10 year old kid was a B-Rank. It gave Mack hope.

"He just came back from… a three year long "mission" with his dad." Mack wasn't good with emotions and didn't noticed Makarov's pause while Laxus looked down sad. Mack did see this but didn't really care.

"Laxus has just recently gained a new type of magic. This magic is of the lightning element and since your the only lightning mage in Magnolia right now I was wondering if you could help him get to know his magic better." Mack looked at Laxus. Laxus didn't want to be taught by someone younger than him but wanted to learn his new magic quicker.

Mack didn't mind teaching Laxus wanting to see what he could do. He was also curious of what mission took him 3 years. He planned to ask later.

"Sure." Laxus scowled before just settling on a frown. Mack wasn't looking at Laxus as he thought about showing Laxus ways to manipulate his Lightning like Mack did when he was bored. "Come on. We can start now."

Laxus followed Mack out of the guild to the field behind it. They went a little deeper until they came to a clearing. Mack took his robe off making Laxus to get surprised by all the scars on his back.

"Come on. Throw an attack at me." Laxus stopped looking at Mack's scars when he spoke. Laxus's right hand started to spark with lightning. Mack was surprised when Laxus almost disappeared he was moving so fast. Mack was struck in his side and went about four feet away before he caught himself.

Laxus froze as he looked at Mack's blank face. Mack's right side became that of a white lion as black lightning started sparking. Mack noticed the color and took a few deep breathes. After a few seconds his lightning went back to blue.

"Good hit. But there is something different. It's like you aren't generating the lightning. There's just a delay between you using your mana and lightning surrounding your arm." Mack saw his lightning move a second after he used his mana. Lightning is one of the fastest elements so it should have spark almost instantly after he used it.

Laxus flinched. Laxus knew it was because of the Lacrima and thought of telling Mack. After a second he sighed.

"That's because it isn't my magic yet. Until I can fully adapt to using the magic it all comes from a Lacrima that is my body." Mack's eyes closed slightly as he glared at Laxus.

"How did you get a Lacrima in your body? From I've been told of Lacrima that's extremely dangerous. Especially with a Lacrima with a magic as strong as lightning." Mack was actually curious but Laxus saw it as prying.

"My dad. The one who was arguing with grandpa earlier was my dad, Ivan. He gave me this Lacrima but…" Mack expected him to finish but just shrugged when he didn't.

"Come on we still have training to do. I'm gonna show you how to work on control. Lightning isn't the hardest to control but it is easy to lose control of if you pour to much mana into it. Lightning can do this because the more mana you put in it the stronger and faster it becomes and if you can't changed your mana to control it quick enough it will just spark off zapping and burning stuff. Trust me." Mack nodded sagely thinking of the first time he lost control of his lightning that he can remember and almost started a forest fire.

"Just follow my lead." Mack guided Laxus in moving his lightning around his body slowly starting with small sparks that disappeared after appearing then to keeping a single strain of lightning moving constantly around his arm. They spent a few hours training. Laxus still didn't like Mack very much but did have respect for him after hearing about what he's gone through yet is still going strong.
