MY PLACE IN YOUR LIFE 3

Hearing the words of Katherine, Mike nodded in approval, "Fine! you will take judge of what's gonna happen to Susan."

He said firmly and hearing that, Susan flinched as she then looked directly at Katherine who couldn't hide the smile of victory plastered on her face.

Taking some time of silence, Katherine finally said, "What you did was wrong and the fact that I'm not the only one who has been insulted by you also urges me to say that as punishment, you will apologize to all the employees that you have insulted and mistreated."

Katherine said and upon hearing that, Susan gave Katherine a death glare. Although this might seem like a simple punishment, someone like Susan who is too full of herself would take this as an insult.

But as much as she hated what Katherine had said, she still had no other choice unless she was hundred percent sure that Mike would fire her.

Nodding she said, "Ok then, I'll do that."

Hearing that, Mike said, "But first you will apologize to Katherine and I mean it, you must apologize with outmost sincerity."

Upon heat the words of Mike, Susan then bowed down slightly as she said in an apologetic tone, "I-I'm sorry for what I did, please forgive me for speaking bad about you..."

She said although Katherine could still sense some annoyance from her words, "It's ok...so far you do what I had instructed, I hold no grudge against you."

Katherine said sincerely and then Mike said, "As for my punishment, you will be demoted to the assignment manager of the welfare department."

Mike said and hearing that, Susan's eyes widened in shock as she said, "But there is already an assistant manager.... please don't remove me from my job."

"I know that and the assistant manager is Floris if I'm not wrong. She will now be the manager and you her assistant." Mike said.

"I once remembered that you had sent her on a ten miles journey to Rusland to get something that we already had at the company. You said that it slipped your mind but it was obvious that you just wanted to stress the woman."

"From now on you will work under her and we will see if she would treat you the same way you had treated her. You're both dismissed!" Mike voiced out and upon hearing that, Katherine bowed before leaving.

And so did Susan. As they came out of Mike's office, Katherine then turned to the still stressed and shocked Susan as she said, "Next tims, know your boundary. I'm not like those who you have bullied and insulted, you might have the first laugh but I'll always have the last laugh."

"No one messes with Katherine, got that?" with that, Katherine smirked and turned around as she walked towards he desk.

Some time later, it was time for lunch and as everyone went down to the company's Cafe or Cafeteria if you wanna put it. Katherine on the other hand, took out her lunch bag as she brought out a nice lunch box which was pretty and cute.

She then took out another which was green in color, arranged it well and placed a bottle of water in it.

With that, she made her way to Mike's office. Knocking at the door, she heard the word, "Come in." and she did just that.

Entering Mike's office, she could see that he was busy as he was going throw alot of files.

Upon seeing Katherine, Mike said, "Oh! Katherine, it's you. Umm...is it lunch time already?" he asked.

Hearing that, Katherine said, "Yes! Sir, it is...are you not going out for lunch?" she asked.

"Yah about that, I'm sorry Katherine but I don't think we can go for lunch today. But you can go without me, I'm really busy with some work." He explained and hearing that, Katherine nodded as she then said, "Well too bad because I made you some lunch!"

Lunch?

Hearing that, Mike immediately looked up at Katherine and then at the lunch bag that she held in her hands.

"Well I made some food for the boys but it was too much so I packed some lunches for both of us but you don't seem like you will have time to eat. We'll see you then." She said as she placed a sad expression on her face.

And upon hearing what she had said and seeing her sad face, Mike finally gave in, "Just bring the food! I'll eat it!"

Hearts that, Katherine's eyes lite up as she said, "Ok Sir."

With that, she quickly placed the food on his desk as she cleared his desk and arranged it well.

With the beautiful meal visible for his eyes to see, Mike couldn't help but groan at that wonderful aroma of the food.

I'm totally gonna enjoy this!
