Chapter 13: Android Problem (Part 2)

I'm knocking on her door and waiting for someone to open the door. "Who is that!?" She opened the door. "What do you want!?"

I showed her my silver briefcase. "I'm here to fix her." She wants to closed the door, but I hold it. "If you won't let me in, you don't have someone to talked to. Do you want that, Kat?! I might be a law enforcement and I'm not pro-government."

She stared into my eyes and none of us speak. "Kat, who's our guest?" I can hear the glitch sound from the inside.

"Fine! If you..." I get inside before she finished her words. I took a deep breath as I'm looking at her android. "She's an old model, Alexa! How can you..."

"Xyna, shutdown." The robot in front of me stopped working and closed her eyes. I opened my briefcase. This is it. The new parts of SH 500 core with new upgrade that she can't afford. I'm glancing at her.

"I have a friend from my department has a same model as you. She purchased a new model, and gave me her old android." I touched her chest and stomach to open her core. "The newest OS is RSC 10.2, right?"

I showed her the new core. "I already legally upgrade the core, for the next upgrade, you don't have to buy it. Just command her to upgrade her system." I put the bolt on the safest place.

None of us want to speak again. I open her eyes manually. "Her core eyes burned, last year. Overheating if you asked."

I took a deep breath and opened her head. "Do you know who am I, right? And my status as..."

"Yes, your status as fugitive. All the agents alerted with your presence." I unplugged her core and turned her head to the left. The rust. "You should take care of your android well, Kat. He will disappointed if you're not taking care of his belonging."

I should unplugged all of them to cleaned the rust. I'm looking at the brain core and plugged it to my computer. "Don't worry, I already place jammers in my car." Hmm... her brain doesn't have too much damage.

I should accessing her memory without her knowing. "Um... can you... give me a space to focus?" Kat stared at me. "I will not do stupid things, promise!" Kat sighed and picked the leash.

"Kojo!" A dog barking and approaching her. "Let's go!" She's walking outside with her dog and leave me with her android.

"Jynx. Can you access her memory?" I keep scanning for another damage before I plugged the new core. I'm waiting for Jynx to answer.

I facepalmed myself, sighed. Right, Jammers. I'm typing several code inside command prompt and try to accessing her memories. I'm looking at her face and sighed.

Once you are the most famous model ever they created, but now, you a forgotten model ever exist. Gladly, someone still producing it. The first generation of android from 7 years ago. I took a deep breath and sighed.

In 2023, first AI called ChatGPT become viral in the earth. It spread fast, like a mushrooms. All the websites in that era become more crazy over that kind of AI. They said, you can generate pictures, videos, or write an article with ease without you hiring a graphic designer, director, or copywriter to get famous.

Now, AI more advance. You not only can generate a picture or video. "Xyna, can you hear me?" Xyna blinks her eyes several times and nodding her head. I put her in mute mode. "I want to access your memory. Do you mind, if I'm accessing your memory?"

I press her voice core. "Yes, please. M-my..." oh, there's a problem from her voice core. I put her to shutdown mode and unscrew the bolt. "Let's see... what's wrong with you." 

This is it. The wires. I took a deep breath and took off my gloves and glasses. "You... more broken than I thought."

I'm walking outside of her room. "How's her?" I took a deep breath and look her in the eye. Should I tell her?

 I hope she wants to hear me. "I should bring her to my warehouse." She growled and pointing a gun at me.

"You can't fix her, right?! You just..." I brushed off her hand and handcuffed her. "No!" I pinned her and locked her movement. Kojo barking at me and growled at me. "Let me go!" I'm looking at her eyes and sighed.

"Tonight, you can sleep in my house." She shook her head. "If you keep rejecting my offer, I swear to God I will not helping you to get out from this city!"

I keep searching for any firearms or any weapons inside her pocket. "I have rights!"

I found 9 brass knuckles and a couple of bucks. "It's expensive. You can't confiscated that thing!" I'm nodding my head and put back the brass knuckle. In the city, brass knuckle only priced equivalent to one glass of water.

She has 9 rusty brass knuckles, so 9 glass of water. I took a deep breath and uncuffed her. "In the city, it's worth nothing. How you can live... with scrapping thing, huh!?"

She gets inside her room and locked me outside with Kojo. He stills growled at me. Oh, shit. I took a deep breath and knocked her door.

"What!?" I showed Kojo to her. "Kojo, inside!" I took a deep breath and sighed. She slammed the door in front of me.

She opens the door again and bring all my belonging and Xyna outside. "It's free for you!" I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. I want the dog too. Argh! I tried to knock her door several times, but she doesn't want to answer me.

I'm looking at Xyna and all the bolts inside my briefcase. This is it. I've got kicked.

"I will comeback again with your android!" She doesn't answer me. I took a deep breath and tidying my belonging.
