Goro goro no mi

Alex was slightly concerned about fate since he was a part of this world now it meant he would eventually get pulled into it's web. right now alex had one point six million points to spend which was actually just enough for him to create a logia type devil fruit. this was with the added description of not being cursed of course since losing the ability to swim or getting weak in water was a huge problem. the first fruit alex decided to get was the guro guro no mi or the thunder thunder fruit that turned his whole body into lightning.

The design was a round yellow fruit with large lightning bolt shaped swirl scales commonly found on devil fruit. the description was simply {goro goro no mi: grants powerful lightning powers including elementalization , does not contain a curse and can be eaten with other devil fruits without clashing}. when the fruit appeared it was about the size of a cantaloupe but was fairly unassuming to look at. alex carefully pinched the fruit between his claws so as to not pierce it and dropped the whole fruit down his throat without chewing to spare himself from the terrible flavor.

At first nothing seemed to happen but soon alex felt the thunder elemental power in his body skyrocket while his body itself started to transform at a fundamental level to give him the ability to elementalize. the changes stopped about three hours later were alex felt like his thunder element had nearly tripled while he felt like he could turn into lightning without any issue. he experimented by changing a single limb into lightning which he could do easily while even manipulating the size and shape of the limb freely. no mater what he did the limb always reformed perfectly normal after he stopped.

The best part in alex's opinion was that his reaction time was now almost instantaneous as his reflexes increased to cope with the increased speed given to him by turning into lightning. natural lightning was one of the fastest thing known to people both in this world as well as on earth and alex could tap into that speed with full body elementalization. he had discovered this when he speed over the sky from astera all the way to the old world in about two minutes. this was a terrifying rate of travel that also made alex nearly untouchable.

The same day freya hunted her own pink rathian a meeting was called to discuss the possible location it could have come from. right on cue the admiral showed up during the meeting and tossed a bioenergy filled crystal onto the table. "found a place chalk full of things like that and i've got a feeling that's where nergigante's gone." the admiral said hijacking the meeting. alex just gives the man a "are you serious right now" look to which the admiral just grins. "saw how the fifth had taken care of zorah a while ago but was on a lead take i didn't want to leave." the man said sizing up freya.

"I've noticed several different elders out in that place so i've named it the elders recess and if nergigante feeds on elders he's bound to have gone there." the admiral said seriously. "so you two think you feel up for an expedition to the recess?" he asked freya and alcina with a wide grin. both of the girls agreed and alex knew the meeting was basically over so he sent a mild shock through the air at the admiral.

The mans wild blonde hair puffed up like a cotton ball and alex chuffed out a laugh at how ridiculous he looked. the rest of the people also had to hold back laughs and alcina even teared up while holding her mouth shut. "oh you want to play do you?" the admiral grinned and charged at alex who decided to mess with him by elementalizing around the man harmlessly. the admiral face planted since he ha excepted to land on alex but quickly stood up with a curious look. "haven't seen that trick before , new development sid?" he asked interested.

Alex nodded with his own smirk (a terrifying thing on a dragon btw) and the admiral just laughed it off. "i admit you got me good this time with this new trick of yours , so it got any use besides dodging?" the man asked curiously and alex nodded. alex elementalized and vanished into the clouds over head in an instant before coming right back down just as fast. the air cracked as his speed sheared through it and thunder rumbled out for miles. everyone including the admiral was left with their jaws on the floor from the show of insane speed.
