Feigning Dragon Might

In a deep abyss within the Netherworld Realm dwelled a species of diminutive Eye Demons, most of which possessed only first or second-rank strength. They numbered in abundance and reproduced at an alarming rate.

Their combination of weakness, potent reproduction, and group survival made them prime prey for nearby ordinary demons of the third and fourth ranks. Each day, a large number of these third and fourth-ranked Netherworld demons would lurk at the edge of the abyss, while feasting on these low-level Eye Demons.

Today was no exception. A multitude of ordinary demons gathered near the abyss in search of sustenance.

Just as these ordinary demons were about to capture Eye Demons for a hearty meal, all the first and second-rank Eye Demons within the abyss suddenly began to merge!

In an extremely short span of time, these previously insignificant first and second-rank Eye Demons coalesced into a Ninth-rank Eye Demon Supreme.
