Chapter 9: The Strange Apprentice

On the way back, SnowFlake pulled ShockrimPaw to the side of the group and said, "You were told to stay in camp. Why are you here and why did you not listen?"

ShockrimPaw would lower his head as if sad to be getting yelled at, "It's just.. I've never gone to a meeting before.. I just wanted to see what it was like.. And my paw stoped hurting.. So I thought I would let my curiousity take the best of me.."

"Well... It's hard to be mad at you, and it is good for you to be curious about things. Next time just be sure to follow directions please!" SnowFlake said in a happy voice, "Let's get back to camp now! When we get there I'll have RavenPool look at your paw."

When they got back to the camp, SnowFlake led him into the medicine den and had him sit down while she went and got RavenPool. When she returned, she had RavenPool look at ShockrimPaw's paw, and when RavenPool gasped, SnowFlake and ShockrimPaw were both confused.

RavenPool led SnowFlake into her den so that she could talk in private with her, "I think there is something special about ShockrimPaw... His leg is already healed and I didn't give him any herbs to help with it."

SnowFlake was surprised to hear this news, "What should we do about it...?" She said looking slightly worried. "And what did you mean by special?"

RavenPool responded, "Well I can assure

you that this is nothing to worry about, if anything it is something to be proud of. He will grow into a strong warrior. And there us really nothing to be done about this, but you should not tell him about this..It's for the best."

"Okay, I'll tell him that he was just lucky, but I wont give him any hints that he is special." SnowFlake said as she left the den. She walked over to ShockrimPaw and said, "Well your leg is already healed. You are lucky that it healed so quickly, expecially without any herbs to help it!"

ShockrimPaw was exited that his leg was healed, so he went to go have some fun and play with his friends in the apprentice den.
