My legs started moving before my brain even caught up. I grabbed my dress and heels, ran downstairs while passing Reed in the process. I quickly unlocked my phone and my fingers automatically went to the Uber app. As I was waiting for the car to stop by in three minutes, I ran into the bathroom and locked the door.

I heard footsteps coming closer to where I was, soon followed by knocks on the door. “Don't worry Mystery girl, nothing happened last night.”

I scoffed while changing into yesterday's outfit. “Sure, nothing happened last night when I passed out only to walk up half naked!”

Reed sighed. “Don't you remember barfing all over your dress? What I'm trying to say is, I don't do things without a person's consent.”

“How should I know that? You could probably be some serial killer for all I know.” I rolled my eyes then opened the door to only find him smiling.

“That's not what you were saying last night.” I pushed him, then made my way to the door, not forgetting to mumble “I'm such an idiot.” to myself.

Finally, my ride was here. I opened the door and got in, after saying the following words. “Please forget that you ever saw me, or even kissed me because I already have.”

My back soon made contact with my dorm room door as I previously ran for my life. My butt made contact with the floor as I fell down. No more drinking for me, I thought when I walked towards the bathroom and started showering. My body relaxed under the warm water that began falling on me. I shampooed my hair with my favorite strawberry, vanilla shampoo then made sure to wash my body over and over again, until I mentally felt clean.

When I got out, Taylor walked in smiling wickedly to herself. “What or who made you smile like that?” I smirked.

She made her way to my bed and lied down as if it was snowing and started making snow angels. “Oh Kaitlyn...” She sighed like a love sick puppy. I practically rolled my eyes then laughed. “You know what? Forget that I even asked. You're face is telling me everything I need to know.”

Taylor stood up and faced me. I raised my left eyebrow as she started to shake me. “I had the best night ever.” She smiled, only to frown. “Where were you?”

I walked over to my closet. “Now she asks.” Taylor grabbed her toiletries and towel. “I'm sorry that I left you alone on the dance floor, but it seemed like you were in very capable hands.”

Her statement made me slighty blush, slightly. I furrowed my eyebrows and crossed my arms on my chest. “Don't think for a second that you're getting away for that little stunt you pulled last night.”

She made her way to the showering room, but not before adding. “A girl can only hope.”

I packed my books for my first lecture tomorrow morning 7:30 a.m. With my hair still wet from showering, I let fall loose down on my back. Taylor soon joined me and started changing into fresher clothes. Me? I wanted to sleep early for tomorrow so I already wore my pj's. “You're seriously going to ignore me now?”

I rolled my eyebrows. “If you think that I'm still mad at you, no I'm not. I just want to sleep Tay.” She sighed in relief. “Thank goodness, because I don't like being ignored.”

I threw her a pillow and she dramatically gasped. “You're so evil!” Turning my back to her, I covered my ears with one of the pilliows I had left. “Leave me be woman!”

My alarm beeped at 6:15 a.m. Man, I didn't feel like waking up but as you know...I had to. My grabbed my toiletries and went to take a quick shower. When I got back to my room, Taylor rolled over the other side of her bed and started groaning. “Why did you wake up so early? And on top of that, this bed is already giving me problems.”

I quietly laughed while Taylor whined. “Kaitlyn stop laughing at me.”

“I can't help but not to. You're making it harder than it seems.” I pulled out one of my grey skirts that went down to my legs and a black crop top. I pulled up my hair into a ponytail and wore my black rimmed glasses. After I checked myself in the mirror, I turned around and grabbed my bag pack to go. Taylor squinted her eyes then stood up, actually jumped out from her bed. “What are you wearing?”

I chuckled at the fact that she was now fully awake. “What's wrong with what I'm wearing?” Her eyes and mouth opened. “You..” She motioned up and down with her hands. “You weren't wearing this at the club yesterday?”

I walked towards the door. “Listen Taylor, yesterday was different, I was different but this is how I usually dress so if you have a problem with it then...wait in line like all the others.”

“Wait, Kait--” Taylor shouted, but it was too late. I had already walked out. I caught a wiff of fresh air as soon as I exited the building. I looked at my schedule to find out that I had a Business economics class with one of the professors.

I walked around for a while until I found the class. Luckily I wasn't late. As I strode in, my eyes scanned the room as I began to look for a decent seat. Finally I found one which was close to the front. More people started entering and soon the professor began his first lecture.

“And this is why you're going to love this semester's work...” Was the last thing Professor Victor said before we were dismissed. I quickly packed my notes and other stationeries that were on the table into my bag pack. I groaned when one of my pens fell down and I reached down to grab it. When I stood up once again, my eyes made contact with a person I was recently familiar with.

“Reed...” I muttered to myself. His hazel eyes met mine within the crowd of people around him. I silently exited the room, quickly. I sighed in relief when I made my way towards a coffee shop. “Thank you.” I smiled as I received my caramel latté. I bumped into someone but fortunately my latté was saved. “Sorr--” My eyes met the same hazel eyes that I thought I've escape from.

“It's okay.” I replied whilst walking away but Reed began to walk after me. “Excuse me but...” I turned around. He raised his left eyebrow. “Have we met before?”

“Obviously not.” I sat down. “Then why do you look so familiar?” He questioned while sitting down. I shrugged then took a sip of my latté. “I don't know. There are a ton of people who might look like me.”

Reed sighed and stood up. “You're right.” He scanned me up and down. “I'm just... Forget that I ever said anything.” Then left me breathing heavily.

18:55 p.m

I silently waked back to campus. As I opened the door, Taylor stood in front of me with a box of chocolates. “I'm sorry.” Was all she said before hugging me. I returned the gesture. “I was just surprised that's all, I didn't think that I was judging you in the process.”

“It's cool...” I calmly admitted. “A box of chocolates? Who do you take me for?” I mocked her gift of apology.

Taylor laughed at my statement. “Yeah, I agree that I went too lovey dovey on you. How about we got out instead? The treat's on me.

My mouth hung open. She's lucky that I didn't have any damage done to my liver, and I'm so not experiencing another hangover anytime soon. I shook my head, disapproving. That only made her laugh even more. “Don't worry, we're not going to a club, just a restaurant where we can hangout and chill.” I smiled.“Okay. Just give me some time to go and have a shower.”

“I can't believe you did that!” I responded while laughing my ass off at Taylor's story of how she almost slept with one of her hot teachers during her Senior year in highschool. “Hey...” She shrugged. “A girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do.”

I threw her one of my fries. “You're such a hoe.” I joked. “I'm not offended...” Taylor licked her lips. “If only you knew how hot he was.” She took out her phone and searched him on Instagram. “See...” I gasped and took a sip from my Coke while approving, “Definitely would have been worth it.”

“Whose the hoe now?”

“Still you.”

“Whatever Bitch.” She playfully rolled her eyes but then suddenly squealed. I raised my left eyebrow, confused all of the sudden. “What is it?” I asked.

“One of the faculties are throwing a party.” I mentally gaged. “You want to go, don't you?” She nodded like an four year old that wanted a Barbie doll.

“Then let's go.”

Loud music greeted us as soon as we had entered the fret house. Taylor started moving to the beat of Chris Brown and Drake's song, No Guidance while I made my way to the kitchen to grab myself a non-alcoholic beverage. Yup, you heard me. Non-alcoholic.

“This is fucking unbelievable.” The fridge contained nothing else, but booze. Argh! A beer will just do. My hand pulled out a beer and I took a big sip before walking around, trying to find Taylor.

“There you are.” I sighed in relief when I saw Taylor sitting with a group of friends. “Kaitlyn! Come here and meet my friends.”

I nodded whilst moving towards them. “Guys, this is my roommate Kaitlyn.” I nervously waved and they, particularly the guys gave me goofy grins and returned the gesture. The girls rolled their eyes at the guys, probably because of their new sudden interest in me but they gave me a nice welcome of hey's. Together they were all ten, including Taylor.

“The blond twins are Michael and Mathew, the brown haired guy is Logan, the jet black haired guy is Holden and that idiotic dirty blond guy is Styles. Meet the girls. Red head is Alexis, blond is Lola, the brunette is Jade and lastly the jet black haired girl is Samantha, but you call her Sam.”

“So Kait, you're a freshman right?” Styles asked and I nodded. “Yeah. How did you know?”

“I've never seen your face around campus before and trust me when I say that you're unforgettable.” He winked and I chuckled.

“Quit it already Styles.” Alexis starting rolling her eyes. “Yeah, it's been five seconds and you're already trying to suffocate her.” Sam teased, making Logan choke on his drink.

I could tell that we were all going to get along smoothly. I smiled. “Who wants to play beer pong?” Holden suggested and we all agreed, then headed to the pool area.

We all split up into groups of two. Jade became the judge, Taylor was with Holden, Styles was with Alexis, Sam took Logan, Lola was partners with Michael and Mathew chose me. “Let the game's begin!” Jade shouted.

So far, each team was failing miserably and soon all of us were drunk. “Worst game in beer pong history. ” I giggled while Jade laughed at my drunken state. “You have no idea.” We all laughed at each other until I decided to go to the bathroom. “Don't be gone too long.” Styles loudly sang.

I carefully walked through the crowd like an expert, hoping that they don't spill anything on my clothes and especially my babies, my white ankle All Stars Converse shoes. I found an available bedroom that luckily had a bathroom. I quickly did my business, made sure to flush it down the drain and quickly existed the bathroom only to bump into a hard chest. He quickly grabbed my waist while I grabbed both of his arms to prevent myself from falling.

“God, I'm so clumsy.” I giggled. A thing I tended to do when I was drunk.

“Sorry.” I said then looked up finding myself staring at familiar hazel eyes again. I swear this guy was everywhere. Just everywhere! Great..

We just stood there looking at each other. His eyes slowly scanned my whole entire body while bitting his lower lip in the process. I'm pretty sure that my core was now wet at his sudden action. He now focused mainly on my face then took notice of my real long hair.

Frowning, he let out those two words that I was dreading not to hear.

“Mystery girl?”
