"Anyway, what's with your attire today? It looks good on you, though."
I chuckled. " Thanks. I wasn't able to change my clothes because I was rushed to go here immediately. Or should I say someone rushed me to go here."
His forehead creased. "What do you mean?"
I hold his hands. "Do you miss the outside world? I mean, it's been five months since we admitted you here. I'm pretty sure you miss seeing other people and having friends."
A faint smile run across his lips. "Well, I kinda get used in staying inside my hospital room but, you're right. There are certain times that I wish I can go outside and play. That way, I can also slowly get rid of my social anxiety."
A pang of pity strikes me after hearing my brother's lament. I know despite what happened and no matter how much he tries distancing himself from people he barely knows, just like Arhes, he still wants be like any other kids, enjoying their childhood and have a lot of friends.
