"Good morning, Miss Athena."
Karin, who was now like Athena's personal maid, greeted with a smile. Karin had been assigned by Noah to take good care of Athena. Athena returned Karin's smile and greeting.
"Mr. Noah asked me to tell you that he is in the study. He's in a meeting. Probably not looking at the cell phone. Besides, there's work that Mr. Noah needs to do," Karin said after helping make Athena's bed. It was a little late because Athena had even had breakfast, but Athena was fine with that.
"I see," said Athena who just wanted to ask where Noah was. During and after breakfast, Noah suddenly disappeared. Athena's messages were not answered either. "That's all right, Karin. I think I'll take a walk around here. Just tell Noah if he asks."
Karin nodded. "Yes. Do you need company, Miss?"
"No need. I can manage on my own."
"Alright."
Athena walked out of her room. However, Athena's steps stopped when someone called her name and it was Ocean.
"Oh, Ocean. It's you. What's wrong?"
"It's okay, Miss. Are you alone?" Ocean asked making Athena's forehead furrowed, feeling strange that Ocean would suddenly ask this. Afraid of raising suspicion, Ocean hurriedly corrected, "I mean, it's rare that you're alone. Usually, you would be with Mr. Noah."
"Oh. Yes. Noah is at work. So, I wanted to take a walk by myself."
"I see." Ocean cheered inwardly. At this rate, Grey's plan would go smoothly. "Miss, would you like to come with me to the garden? I heard that the trees there are already bearing fruit. There are guavas, apples. I think you'll like picking them yourself."
Athena was excited. "Really?!" she asked and Ocean nodded. "Come on then! We should get going! I can't wait to taste it myself!" she said and Ocean nodded.
Ocean actually felt guilty, Athena was really a nice lady. All the servants here, even Ocean liked her. However, this was Grey's order. Ocean couldn't argue. Ocean and Athena immediately went to the garden.
***
"Wow, you're right, Ocean! There's so much fruit to pick here!" said Athena.
Ocean smiled and nodded. "Yes, Miss," Ocean replied as he glanced several times in front of Athena. The grass that had been deliberately oiled was slippery.
Yes, this was Grey's plan. Bringing Athena here and making her walk there until she fell down. Ocean glanced to the side, where Grey was hiding, looking at Athena from the big tree, right in front of Athena, the left tree with a happy smile. This time her plan would definitely work.
"Ocean, there are apples out front, aren't there? It's already bearing a lot of fruit. I want to go there first!" Athena said excitedly.
Ocean just nodded. Ocean was sure that Grey would be happy to hear it. She was right. Grey was already smiling happily. If Athena went forward, she would surely fall down because the oil had been placed in front of her.
Athena immediately ran in that direction.
"Athena?"
However, Athena's steps stopped when someone called out and Athena looked back. Athena immediately smiled. "Hi, Noah!" greeted Athena excitedly.
Yes, the one who came was Noah. Athena turned around, not walking forward and that made Ocean sigh.
"Noah, is your work done?"
"Yes. I heard from Karin that you went for a walk. I looked everywhere for you. Turns out you're here. Why are you here? Oh, you're with Ocean too?"
Ocean smiled. "Yes, Sir."
"Ocean said that there are fruits that have grown here. I was curious and wanted to see it."
"Really? Did you get it?"
"Not yet. I was just about to pick it."
Grey clenched his hands into fists as he looked at Athena and Noah. Grey then hit the tree in front of him hard. Shit. It seemed to fail again. Grey then chose to leave there, but Grey paused when his foot accidentally stepped on a tree branch.
Noah and Athena, who were chatting at first, finally turned their heads towards Grey. Noah frowned. "Grey? Is that you?" asked Noah to make sure and Grey immediately cursed inwardly.
Damn. He was really unlucky today.
Grey immediately put on a calm face so as not to be suspected. Moreover, Athena was already looking at him with an unfriendly gaze-always like that, they were like cat and mouse.
"Yes. It's me," Grey replied calmly.
"Am I not mistaken? Why is a young master here? You've been standing there all along, too, haven't you? Are you peeping? Hiding? What are you up to?" asked Athena, immediately suspicious.
Grey clucked, indeed Athena always made him angry every time. An annoyed Grey immediately walked over to Athena. "Are you crazy? You know I own this house, I want to go anywhere freely. Unlike you, you're just an ignorant passenger here. I'm not peeping, I'm just standing here. Don't spread hoaxes!" Grey got angry as he walked over to Athena and Noah.
"Why do you always have to be so angry?! Temperamental guy! Why don't you have a little of Noah's attitude?"
"Then, why aren't you like a gentle, kind, and self-aware woman? You're like a ferocious gorilla and-"
"Sir, watch out! Don't go that way!" shouted Ocean in panic when she realized Grey was about to pass through the greasy road.
"Akh!"
"Grey!"
Grey slipped because he forgot the fact about his own plan and ended up falling into his own trap. Grey groaned in pain as his head directly hit the ground.
"Sir!" The panicked Ocean immediately caught up with his master. However, in his panic Ocean also forgot about the plan and slipped as well.
"Stupid Ocean," Grey cursed softly.
"S-sorry, sir. I forgot too," he whispered.
"Oh my, why did you two fall down together? Are you okay?" asked Noah, both surprised and worried. Noah walked over to help.
"Don't!"
However, Noah stopped when Grey had hurriedly raised his hand, stopping Noah. A confused Noah naturally asked why.
"I-it's slippery here. That's why Ocean and I fell. Don't let you fall too. You asked the guards to come here immediately to help me and Ocean. You won't be able to by yourself. It's so slippery, Ocean and I will fall again if there aren't many people helping us."
"Gosh, why is that? This garden is always cleaned. Wait a moment. I'll be back soon. Athena, please take care of them for a while," Noah said in a hurry and Athena nodded.
Noah then immediately left to find help. Meanwhile, Athena noticed Grey who grumbled in annoyance, making her laugh. Grey who saw it was of course even more upset.
"Is it funny?" asked Grey sarcastically.
"Of course it is. The ruthless mafia is now falling like this. It seems that this is your karma."
"You-"
Grey could only hold back his anger. Arguing would be pointless and Athena was laughing even more. Grey could only let out an annoyed sigh.
"By the way, do you realize? You always have bad luck where I am. Very coincidental, huh?" asked Athena which made Grey and Ocean shut up.
They knew it wasn't just a question. However, it had meaning. Athena was starting to get suspicious. Athena also smiled with a meaningful smile.
