If Lilian Mo was amazed at Mizuki Rei's quick thinking and usage of ability, she was even more surprised when she saw Mu Qingqing who dropped her weapon and started punching the mutants with her bare hands.

The punches weren't ordinary. They possess a strong dynamic force behind them and the impact would traveled all across the body of the mutants, destroying the kernel in the process.

Lilian Mo recognized this type of ability very well.

'A strength ability user..'

Although this ability didn't seem as flashy or great as other abilities like being able to wield fire or ice, its destructive force when upgraded is devastating to the point that one level three ability user can take on a level three mutant animal alone using only their bare hands, as long as they fight with caution.

Never underestimate the difference between levels of mutants and ability users. Ability users could improve themselves by absorbing the elements in the air or the energies in the crystal cores. Fighting also helps upgrade faster.

Likewise, mutants also rise in ranks the same way as humans do. It was even easier for mutant plants. Not only do they absorb nutrients from their unsuspecting prey but they also absorb nutrients from the earth, allowing them to upgrade twice as fast as a regular mutant.

Lilian Mo wouldn't be surprised if she encountered a Level one mutant plant in one week's time. Normally, ability users would take atleast a month to break through to the next level which put them at a disadvantage against mutant plants.

Lilian Mo was never scared of humanoid mutants. She was more wary of mutant plants and animals because they could develop abilities and traits faster than an average mutant. Humanoid mutants on the other hand were known for their intelligence once they hit Level four.

They could think and plan strategies, ambushing humans as well as gather hordes. Lilian Mo wasn't too worried at the moment. She was currently at Level three and it was only the second day of the apocalypse.

Of course, because her level was pretty high already, it would be harder to breakthrough to the next level. The higher the level, the harder it was to upgrade.

There were also cases where you can't breakthrough without the aid of crystal cores. At Level three, ability users were recommended to use crystal cores, otherwise, it would take them months before they could upgrade.

And here comes the special case.

The ultimate cheaters among all ability users were strength ability users because they upgrade very fast.....

It was so fast that even Lilian Mo in her past life would find herself surprised everytime she sees a strength ability user who was only in the Level two but was already at Level three the next month.

She couldn't help but sigh in relief when she realized that Mu Qingqing was a strength ability user.

Lilian Mo decided to watch the couple as they blasted through the horde wih their abilities. It was only when they were exhausted that Lilian Mo took over.

She formed a fire in both hands and threw them at the remaining mutants, extinguishing them in flames.

Her eyes flashed when she saw two resins in the ground. Mizuki Rei went to pick it up, staring at the odd looking ball with confused eyes.

"Reirei, what's this?" Mu Qingqing asked who was also wondering what it was.

"It's a resin." Lilian Mo answered for them, dusting her clothes off. She took the resins from Mizuki Rei and briefly explained its use to them.

"This is a Level one resin that could be found in mutant plants. It can heal injuries and wounds. The higher the level, the stronger its effects. Have one each." She distributed it to them.

"They look like marbles!" Mu Qingqing excitedly said.

Lilian Mo shook her head at the girl's hands that were stained with black blood. She took out a water bottle and poured it at the girl's hand, washing the gore away.

If people saw her wasting precious water just to clean hands, she would have received a thorough scolding for being so wasteful.

Lilian Mo wiped the delicate hands of the girl using a towel.

"What about me?" Mizuki Rei also wanted to wash his hands. Lilian Mo raised a brow before handing a water bottle but she left him to clean himself, not bothering to assist him.

Mizuki Rei didn't mind. He was a man. How could he allow a woman to clean after him?

Also, he wasn't averse to the gore. It was only the second day and they would have to continue fighting like this every day.
