"Now… I didn't expect this to happen."
"What did you expect, Reaper?"
"Not Naga Sadow in my mind, lecturing me about the Force."
Arlo sounded exhausted as the figure of Naga Sadow came into view within the endless galaxy of Arlo's subconsciousness.
Darth Naga Sadow could be heard chuckling as Arlo cursed him.
"Keuahahaha!!
As expected of a Reaper!!
Tell me… how does it feel being part of a world that has already alienated you because of your uniqueness?"
"What… the hell are you on about?" Arlo couldn't help but stare sharply at the Sith/Human Hybrid, Darth Naga Sadow, as if the dead Sith was deeply troubled.
"Ohh come on!
It's as obvious as the sun, you are the sole person of your kind, while also a creature of immense strength that is unmatched.
An abomination of sorts, yet you are a Reaper at the same time and much more.
Capable of a great deal but never truly to Mastery."
Nada Sadow tried to point out the problems within each of his Sub-Classes.
By pushing ahead, the levelling of certain Sub-Classes without truly understanding the fundamentals of each Class, Arlo caused himself more harm than benefit.
Thankfully the System intervened and put a lock in place that wouldn't allow for the Levels of the Classes to be pushed on ahead with properly training and development.
As it turned out, the trial started by the Temple Spirit wanted him to understand each of his Sub-Classes before knowing how to wield them at once like a true Polymath.
Nada Sadow revealed more information pertaining to the Temple Spirit and his Classes as the training continued, which felt like days for Arlo.
According to the Sith Lord, the Temple Spirit was created by another Polymath eons ago, but it eventually felt into the hands of the Sith and became one of the most prised possessions of the Dark Side of the Force.
When Arlo teased the Sith Lord about losing the Temple Spirit to someone who wasn't a Sith, Naga Sadow couldn't care less, much to Arlo's surprise.
"Sith don't deserve the Temple Spirit…
We've failed to unlock its potential for thousands of years, only adding part of our soul to the collection of knowledge its continued to hold and expand.
Plus, you're a Reaper, which is fundamentally a being of Darkness of the purest form.
There is no better a person to equip the knowledge, even if the Temple Spirit doesn't approve."
"You know… for a Sith Lord, you're not a prick.
Well, not as bad as I originally thought you would be." Laughed Arlo as he focused on fighting the Sith Lord and his Clone Variants while using his Necromancer Lord Sub-Class Skills and Abilities.
Fighting a legion of Naga Sadow Sith Lords, Arlo used his Necromancer Lord Sub-Class Skills to raise the shadows of the dead, which were reaped souls Arlo had collected during his days as Alimighty's Death Reaper Lord.
Calling various Swordmasters, Knights, and Spearman, Arlo had an army of Shadow Warriors at his side, fighting the Sith Lord Clones but they weren't easy to manage nonetheless as the Sith Lords retained the complete collection of Naga Sadows skillset.
They still held back their complete strength while combating Arlo's Shadow Warriors because they were refining Arlo's control of his skills and various abilities.
At this point, Arlo estimated he'd been training for over a month straight without any breaks, only when he changed the training method to suit his Sub-Class development.
Switching through the eight Sub-Classes, Arlo trained himself to the peak of each Class until there was harmony to activate the Polymath Class traits.
Certain Sub-Classes such as Death Reaper Lord, Monster Lord, Necromancer Lord, Assassin, and Ace Ranger could be melded together to allow the Host's skills to take greater effect and potency.
The five melded Sub-Classes could allow the Host to summon creatures, spirits, and beings with specialisation in those Class fields.
Arlo also spent some time on his Merchant, Galactic Journeyman, and Stellar Inquisitor Sub-Classes, learning various Force Abilities to work in conjunction with the Classes.
Mechu-Deru happened to be one of the abilities Naga Sadow taught him, which allowed the user to comprehend the inner workings of machinery and circuitry, instinctively.
The ability allowed the users to go beyond the simple purpose of upgrading machinery, into providing it with abilities to detect Force Users and possibly wield it as well.
He also learnt various other Force Abilities like Force Weapon, Telemetry, Force Blinding and Healing, but they weren't the most complicated abilities.
Force Stasis Field, Force Storm, Telekinetic Combat, and Force Crush were much harder to learn and understand as they drew more strength from the body and his own connection to the Force.
By the time Arlo understood all the skills Naga Sadow wished to teach him, the Temple Spirit appeared within the vast space full of stars, worlds, and nebulas.
"The Trial has only begun, as you've come near the end of your training with Sith Lord Naga Sadow.
Do you wish to continue and see the trial through to the end?"
"Will time be affected outside of this enclosed space?"
"No.
If you finish the test and return, at most one minute has passed."
"Alright Temple Spirit, please continue with the Trial."
Arlo's main concern was time and how long he'd be gone for, because the two Jedi were still outside of the meditation room that contained the focal point of the Force Nexus.
.
After Naga Sadow, Freedon Nadd took on the mantle of teacher, who pushed Arlo through some of the toughest tests so far, especially in regard to alchemistry, which was a specialty of both Naga Sadow and Freedon Nadd.
Sith Magic was also included in the classes taught by Nadd, but Arlo felt it was quite easily understandable.
In fact, he improved the Sith Magic Spells to use both the Force and Void Energy to conduct its formation.
After he fought against Nadd and won, Arlo went on to study under another eight Sith Lords before the Trial ended and the Temple Spirit before him again.
"To survive for this long… you are indeed special, Void User."
"Why, thank you, Temple Spirit.
But I have to ask, am I now your Master?"
"… Yes." The Temple Spirit didn't want to show it but she couldn't hide her annoyance at taking Arlo as her Master.
She respected Arlo for completing the Trial, but it wasn't enough to gain her complete heart and soul to serve him.
Regardless of what she thought, the requirements of the trial were fulfilled, and Arlo became the new Master of the Temple Spirit.
Arlo could sense his connection to the Sith Temple and its Spirit, who was feeding off his strength now instead of the moon's molten lava.
"Your name is Khalizar, correct?"
"Yes, Master…"
"I won't change the name, Khalizar.
What I do wish to know about is your capabilities." Arlo was prepared to call on Leto and Karae but he waited for now, as he wanted to know what Khalizar could achieve as the Temple Spirit.
"My original purpose was always to manage the Sith Empire once I came into the hands of the Sith Lords soon after my creation.
Through Sith Temples and Artifacts, I was able to manage various planets through the Star Systems and Sectors under the control of the Sith Empire.
The Dromund System was largely used for Starship production, as various Shipyards were built throughout the Star System.
Through the Mechu-Deru specialists, I was able to control the droids of the Sith and manage the production of the ships to a greater extent.
The only issue I ever experienced was continuing to keep the various worlds under my control in a stable and habitable environment.
The effects of the Dark Side have always been too much for the massive worlds to handle when a Force Nexus point would be formed.
Besides that, Sith Lords have come and gone, providing me with knowledge of their skills and abilities they gathered over their lifetime.
Technically I can use their Spirits as my avatars across the worlds I can and manage but that requires a large deal of energy, which I haven't ever been able to possess, even when I was at the height of my strength under the Sith's control."
The Temple Priest Khalizar said without her emotions faltering.
She was a strong-minded Spirit to have lasted a long time, while dealing with the corruptive properties of the Dark Side of the Force.
"If I am to provide you with enough energy, can you begin shrouding certain planets and Star Systems, if they are ownerless and helpful to my plans?"
"Yes, Master.
It is possible, however the energy required to perform such a feat continuously is enormous."
Khalizar didn't want to see her Mater harm himself from accidently expelling his own Lifeforce to fuel the connection with other planets.
She wanted to stop him from making a foolish mistake, but moment Yeixiran decided to connect with her, Khalizar sensed unlimited power from the Empyrean Dimension that automatically harmonised with her Temple Spirit form.
As Khalizar experienced the profound rebirth through her connection to the Empyrean Dimension, Arlo decided to find Leto and Karae, while leading them back to the find the remaining relics of the Sith Temple.
He wanted the pair of Jedi to leave as soon as possible, since their work was done on as the disturbance came from the Spirit who was calling for someone to free her from the Dark Side Nexus.
Arlo knew it wouldn't be easy to convince Leto and Karae that all was well, but to his surprise, the two Jedi were quite accepting of his thoughts on the matter involving Kalakar Six.
"StarKiller, I understand you've come to connect with the Spirit of the Sith Temple, but what exactly have you learnt from it?" asked Leto as Jedi was being led back to his Starship with Karae following closely.
"I'll be truthful and tell you the Spirit contains knowledge of Sith Spells and Practises.
I've come to learn about them all, or whatever has been presented to be up until now, but I'm sure this is much more to study.
I'm going to inform the Grand Guild of my findings as they send a fleet to manage the moon and Temple.
Hopefully we can move the Temple to Coruscant and use the Spirit on the Capital of the Republic.
At least then, the Jedi can come and study the knowledge and trials."
Arlo spoke of cooperation, pleasing Leto immediately, who was more than worried about the Sith knowledge disappearing into the hands of the guild without being studied by the Jedi.
Leto still planned to return back to Coruscant and argue for complete control over the Sith Temple, but Arlo wasn't one to easily give up what he claimed.
Soon the Jedi pair left the moon, leaving behind Arlo who started to witness Khalizar connect with Dromund Kalakar, and the other planets of the Dromund System.
