Please aunty, I am begging you.

"Get out of here! You this unfortunate children!", a woman in her late 40's said with a shrill voice and a fierce look, she threw their belonging into the cold rain. "You killed my brother, to hell with you", she cursed loudly as she pushed them into cold rain. "If not for you unfortunate things my brother would still be alive, get out!", she shouted again.

The children shivered under cold rain and pleaded with the woman but she refuse to hear what they were saying.

The older brother pleaded again "Auntie, my sister is burning up, please let us in she might have a fever, my sister is very weak, please Auntie , am begging you", the boy said with tears in his eyes as watched his little sister shivered under the heavy rain.

The woman scoffed " Let you in, you aren't allowed to step your filthy legs in here anymore, now leave!", she screamed at their faces and shut the door. The older brother held the door to prevent it from closing, the woman glared and him and slapped his face, his face immediately turned red but he couldn't feel the physical pain because his heart was hurting for his sister that was drenched in the rain.

"Auntie, please, you can kick us out but can please treat my sister first", the boy pleaded again as tears rolled down his cheeks which can't be seen easily due to the rain.

"Ha! Treat your sister, a witch! Pray she dies!" She said coldly as she spat on him and pushed him to the floor.

"Ah!", the boy winced in pain as he scratch his elbow on the hard ground. He wasn't even concerned about his body, he just want his sister to be treated.

When he realized his aunt was unwilling to hear him out, he quickly Went to where his sister was lying on the floor, he felt her forehead with the back of his palm and realized that her fever was getting worse, he carried her from the ground, took their bags and went to seek refuge from the rain. He saw a bus station, he hurriedly went there and quickly laid her on the bench.

"Lucy, how are feeling", he asked worriedly with his red eyes. "Brother, am cold", she answered in a barely audible voice as she shivered.

"I know, dont worry i will find something to cover you up", he said with a broken voice, he rummage through their bags to see if there were any dry clothes to cover, luckily he found a thick jacket that was slightly damp, it was better than nothing.

"Dont worry I will take you to the hospital to get treated, trust me", he said with a sad smile as he rubbed her hands together with his to give her a little bit of warmth.

"but we dont have any money, brother, I miss mom and dad and auntie is so cruel", she said as sobbed loudly.

"Its okay, I still have some money left with me, we can still strived with it", he assured her and hugged her.

"How do we live brother? We dont have house or money, how can we survive? Are we going to starve to death", she asked all this question at a time as she sobbed again.

"Dont worry I will figure something out, lets wait till the rain stops so I could take you to get treated", he replied with a sad smile.

The heavy rain turn into a light one and it was bare able to walk in.

"Come on lucy, let's go", he said as he llifted her by her arm.

"The rain is not as heavy as before", he added.

"Where are we going?" She asked cluelessly, glancing up to her brother's face.

"We are going to a hospital", Her brother answered without looking at her because he struggling with their bags.

"But the hospital is so expensive, I dont want you to waste your money, let just go to a convenience store to buy some medicine, its just a fever", she said worriedly.

She knew her brother won't rest until he takes her to a hospital but she think it really unnecessary.

"Don't make me get mad at you, you are sick and you are asking me to care about how much I will spend? I dont even mind if I have to spend my last penny on your health, as long as you feel better, come on", her brother said sternly.

They both walked hand in hand in the damp, cold and unfriendly night by the side walk. Lucy sings a song to make the atmosphere less gloomy.

"Brother, you remember the song mom always sing for me to sleep", she asked as she gave her brother a sweet smile.

"What song", he asked glancing down at her.

"It goes like this ~ you know I love you, you always in my heart, you are my happiness, you are my joy", she sang happily, swinging hers and her brother's intertwined hands back and forth.

Her brother's heart warmed as he saw her singing happily despite all what she had gone through few hours ago.

"Brother you are not singing", she pouted as she glanced up at her brother.

"I dont know the song", he replied and pinched her cheek.

"Ok, fine, I will teach you", she beamed

"~You know I love you~", she sang sweetly.

"You know I love you", he sang with a husky voice and smiled at her.

"You are always in my heart", she sang.

"You are my happiness", she sang again, pointing the her brother and smiled.

"You are my happiness", he also sang along with her, also pointing at her and smiled.

"You are my joy!", she sang again and jumped.

"Now let's sing it together", she said in a shrill voice.

"Alright!", he said and nodded.

"You know I love you, you are always in my heart, you are my happiness, you are my joy!" They both sang in unison, Lucy giggled and her brother chuckled.
