It had been few minutes since the sun rose when Zen woke up. He checked on the disciples front Rainbow Cloud sect and they too seemed to have just gotten up and they were getting ready to go to the place marked on the map. Zen was cut from his thoughts soon as they had arrived at their spot but there was nothing in that spot. Just an open grassy area surrounded by trees. As Zen was thinking about it, The leader of the group Deng Ning placed his treasure map on the open grass field. It seemed there was a complicated formation which reacted to the map and with a loud noise an underground door appeared.

The disciples all entered it but it didn't seem to close. Maybe it detected Zen as a participant and waited for him to enter too. After around five minutes of waiting, Zen too went in. The area was like cave but with some differences. There seemed to be some stones attached to the walls that were like sensor lights. They had formations to them that made it glow brightly as soon as Zen entered. The walls of the cave were stone. There didn't seem to be any drawing or other stuff like how Zen had seen in some books written by treasure hunters.

Zen walked for about 3 minutes and appeared at a huge archway that had a huge gate. The gate was beautiful. It was patterned with branches which had pick leaves and a yellow sunny background. Behind it were the disciples. Zen heard them talk to he stayed behind and listened to them.

5 minutes before....

[Deng Ning POV]

As we entered the gate, we heard a male voice that seemed to have a mature and majestic aura that made it feel like it belonged to a powerful expert.

"Welcome to the trial of Spirit, You might have thought that this place had treasures. Well that's true but only if you pass this test will you be able to acquire them. I don't need to introduce myself right? Well if you pass I might consider doing it, Haha." Said the voice. It seemed to be old and enjoying meeting us. I suppose it met no one in years.

The room we were in was foggy with a green mist. The walls and floor were made of green emerald like objects. They gave this room a majestic look and made us feel like lowly creatures. Even Imperial Palace can't afford to have rooms like this. There was a small table made of the same emerald and on top of it was a transparent sphere.

I, being the leader replied,"Okayyyy... Wait are you a boy?How?God, how can you be so cruel?" I was so mad that I started cursing the gods. How could they be so cruel. I was being gay for a few moments now. Wait even now I feel like I don't mind. Ah, this is so frustrating. Even my friends looked really frustrated. Well I suppose I can't complain. He might have experienced this more than once cause he doesn't looked surprised at all.

[Back to Luo Zen POV]

I replied to his question stuttering,"Yes." What the fuck did I do right now? Why are they angry and at the same time looking at me lewdly. Even the girls that are looking at me are blushing but at the same time they look jealous. Wait, except the most beautiful girl in that group. She is looking at me with admiration.
