Small things can cause great tragedies

AN (please don't skip): before continuing from here on out, let me warn you that many things will be different from canon, in this fanfiction. Nami's early life was full of tragedy. But in my story it will be even more dangerous. I wanted to write this story as realistically as possible.

I am going to take a huge risk from now on.

So I hope that you guys will like it.

Arlong will still be a villain in my story. But considering the story of the fisher tiger and everything that happened in the fish man island, I decided to not make him the murderer of Bellemere. Hody Jones was a true villain. But Arlong was not someone who will use his comrades as fishman shields.

A completely unexpected Tragedy 1

Small things can cause great tragedies

A small pebble can cause a landslide. A small park is enough to light up an entire house and burn It into ash. Small bacteria and viruses which cannot be seen with naked eyes are the cause of many great diseases.

So small things are usually the reason behind many big things.

Nami was smart. From the very young age she has calculated for every step with the future in mind. She has changed the life of her family. She has done everything possible in order to survive the tragedy that will be fall on her and her family at age 10.

But Nami had forgotten one thing. Fate is a nasty mother fucking bitch. She has severely underestimated her. She has taken everything into consideration while planning for her future. She has changed many things in her present in order to make sure that her family survives in the future. But every action has some reaction.

Nami created tangerine syrup and many other food products based on tangerines. She gave the idea to Bellemere to sell them and make greater profit.

The main reason behind this was to make money and improve their financial condition. It will also make sure that they will have enough money by the time Arlong and his fishman pirates come to their Island knocking on their door.

But Nami has forgotten one thing that, Arlong was actually one of the decent bad people in the world. There are many worse than him.

Due to the success of the Tangerine syrup and Tangerine squash, they gained a lot of money. Bellemere used that money in order to improve the business in their local area. Eventually she hiard many other people from Cocoyashi village in order to help her.

In just 5 years, their Tangerine syrup, became a very popular product in the east blue. After the increase in production very little amount of their product was even exported out of the east blue.

Eventually their Tangerine syrup reached the holy lands of Mariejoice. The celestial Dragons who are also known for their cruelty in general, lives the most lavish life possible. So obviously the food they eat is also very high class.

But due to the amazing taste of the Tangerine syrup, they eventually went to the Holy lands of Mariejoice. At first the chefs were very nervous to apply a cheap product in the food of the world nobels. But due to the quality of the product being high, decided to add it and give it to the celestial Dragons anyway.

Most of them being the assholes they were didn't even praise it. But there was once not nosed, dick head food enthusiast and pedophile celestial dragon who immediately recognised the difference and taste.

"Enjoying your day my lord...." Rear admiral Doberman greeted the fat celestial Dragon, who was sipping tea on the deck of the ship of the world government.

Doberman particularly doesn't like following the celestial Dragons around. He didn't mind the cruel acts of the celestial Dragons nor did he care. His only goal was to hunt down pirates.

But the order from the fleet Admiral must be followed at any cost. Doberman was just unlucky and was in the wrong place at the right time.

The world Nobel has left on the world government ship with a bunch of CP agents, to visit some random Island in the east blue.

He didn't even know the purpose of his visit.

But for some unknown reason, the world Nobel decided to request an marine vice admiral out of the blue.

But since no vice admiral, was available nearby, Doberman was assigned to respond to his call immediately.

"Yes, I am enjoying my day quite a bit. But I have requested for a vice admiral. You are only a rear admiral." The celestial Dragon spoke with arrogance dripping in his voice.

"Forgive me my lord. No vice admiral was available nearby. The headquarters thought that it is a case of emergency and sent me as soon as possible since I was nearby." Doberman spoke as politely as possible.

"Hmph ! You are polite dog aren't you ! I am pleased with your performance." The fat celestial Dragon commented.

"Pardon me, saint Manmayer but may I be bold enough to ask you, the purpose of your visit, so that I could request The Marine headquarters in order to send assistance for your endeavour." Doberman asked the world Nobel.

"Oh yes, I forgot to mention the purpose of my visit. Actually there is a new food item that has been recently added to the food of us celestial dragons.

It is called tangerine syrup. In terms of taste, it is quite good. But upon my enquiry I found out that it is being made in a back water island in the east blue.

Considering it is the weakest of all the four blues, I was quite worried about the processing of the food. If it is unhygienic, then it will be a great crime against the world nobles.

That's why I wanted to check it myself. Declaring my visit might alert the commoners and they might try to hide the truth from us. That's why this surprise visit.

But I have forgotten that there are other pirates in the grand line and they might attack our ship while sailing. That's why I immediately called for a vice admiral to guard me.

But now seeing your behaviour I am quite pleased with you. No need to call for any other help from the Marine headquarters.

Now leave me alone until I call for you. " The fat world Nobel said to the rear admiral and went inside his cabin.

In the ship of the Arlong pirates, Hachi, and octopus fishman, was keeping an eye on his surroundings on the crows nest. While he did not like the behaviour of Arlong towards the humans, he has pledged his loyalty to him. So now there is no going back.

In between his contemplation and checking the surroundings, his eyes fell on a large ship with the world government logo on it's flag. But looking closely he found that it was not an ordinary government ship. The ship has a figure head. Which was usually used when a celestial Dragon is on it.

Hachi knew that giving Arlong this information will be very bad. But loyalty is a dangerous thing for someone's health. So greeting his teeth, he shouted for his captain to hear.
