Jealous

DAWN'S POV

After he kissed me, he pulled back to catch our breath. He rested our foreheads on each other,  and looked in my eyes,

"I like you way too much Dawn, will you be my girlfriend?".

I really felt like screaming my answer, but I had to hold myself, so I wouldn't embarrass myself. I pulled away from his embrace, and I saw that he looked hurt

"Chris. Wh-"

"You don't need to say anything now", he interrupted me, "I just wanted to tell you how I feel about you. I'm happy when you're happy, but if you aren't being with me, then I un-"

Yes, I kissed him. I had to, and thankfully, I'm not hearing any more of whatever he wanted to say.

I pulled back, and looked at him,"I'm happy with you. I like you a lot too, even more than how you do for me, so yes I'll be your girlfriend".

He smiled after I said that, and pecked me on my lips again, "I'll make you happy, I'll never hurt you, trust me", he promised.

'I'll hold on to your word, you'll never betray me, I trust you", I thought as I smiled at him.

"At this time, I'm supposed to give you a present to celebrate this", he raised our linked hands up, "but I guess I wasn't fully prepared, I'm really sorry".

I laughed at his cute face, my baby is so cute, "you're too cute"

He poured his lips, "no I'm not, instead I think you've gotten yourself a hot boyfriend".

"Whatever", I rolled my eyes, knowing he was right, he was my hot and handsome boyfriend.

As I was admiring him, the cold ocean wind blew making me shiver a little.

'I shouldn't have worn an off shoulder sleeveless dress, all for fashion'

While I was still rubbing my arms, Chris removed his jacket, and wore it on me. "Thanks, it was already getting chilly".

"Let's get you to the car", he dragged me back to the restaurant. I took my purse, and off we went.

I couldn't stop smiling on our way home, even the road looked more beautiful than before

"Are you that happy?", Chris asked, but he was also smiling too

'Is he seriously asking me?'

"Of course I'm happy, why shouldn't I be?, I'm officially your babe now, and yeah, I have to collect Daniel's number from you"

"Daniel?", he gritted through his teeth, gripping the steering wheel harder

I looked at him with my cute puppy eyes, "what?, you don't want me to make a new friend, no problem then"

He groaned, and I laughed inwardly, knowing he can't say no to my puppy eyes.

"Fine, but don't talk to him too much"

I looked at him, 'wait a minute, is he...'

"Are you jealous?"

He looked at me with widened eyes, "so what if I am?, "

His cute frowny face was so irresistible, that I pulled his face and kissed him

He pulled back, "as much as I like this, I'm still driving, and I wouldn't want us to get into an accident, especially on our first day as a couple", he said as he drove into our house's underground garage.

He got down, and came to open my seat door for me, "my beautiful princess", he said, as he held out his hand.

I held his hand, "my prince charming"

He laughed, and I couldn't help laughing too.

We entered the house, everywhere was so quiet. Everyone would have gone to sleep, it was late already.

I turned to Chris,"wait here, I have something to give you"

"No problem, but what is it?", he bent down to meet my height.

I smiled, and pecked him, "it's a secret".

As I reached the stairs, I saw Peter. I ignored him, and went up the stairs, "you went out with him, why?"

'How dare he ask me that kind of question?, who does he think he is?", I thought

I still ignored him, and went straight to my room. I opened the first drawer and brought out a dark blue box

I ran down the stairs, not minding that I was still in my heels, when I heard two people arguing

Before I knew what was going on, Chris punched Peter making him fall to the ground. I rushed to Chris, to see if he was hurt, "are you hurt?, did he do anything to you?"

"I'm good babe, he's the one that's gonna be sorry", he said, glaring at Peter, who was no where to be found. I pulled him upstairs to my room, and we sat on my bed.

"I'm sorry, if he tries anything with you again, just tell me, you won't see him again", I cupped his cheeks, as I told him

He leaned and pecked me, " don't mind him, he's no match for me at all, what was it that you wanted to give me?"

I was glad he changed the topic. So I reached to the box on the bed, and gave it to him, "open it"

There were two necklaces there, one had a tiny key as the pendant, the other's pendant was two letters MN, formed into some sort of heart shaped keyhole.

He brought them out, and stared at them for a while, "MN?", he asked

"Yeah, our middle names, M as in May, and N as in Nathaniel, the one with the key is for you, like saying, you always hold the key to my heart". What if he doesn't like it?, "I'm sorry that it's tacky, I thought it was beautiful when I designed it, and when they made it also. But if you don't lik-"

The next moment, I felt his lips on mine, before he withdrew, " I love it a lot, it's not tacky at all, it's pretty just like you"

'Can someone tell me why I shouldn't love this guy again?, because I can't stop falling harder"
