Dawn's POV

When I entered the living room, the first person I saw was a guy, sitting opposite my aunt Laura. He was the breathing statute of handsomeness.  And then....my aunt broke my thoughts " Darling, welcome home, meet Christian Lewis, your new steward".

There's no way I could forget him, especially with his unique physical features. He was the waiter at the anniversary ceremony. But I don't understand, how can he be a waiter?

As if hearing my thoughts, he bowed and greeted me with a kinda manly voice, " Christian Lewis, at your service maam."

His blue eyes were captivating, like they were drawing me into an endless pit. And thankfully my aunt broke the trance, before it could get any further.

Then I brought out some documents out of my bag, and gave them to him, " so now, that's your first assignment,  follow me".

He shut the door as we entered my room. I sat down on my bed and folded my arms, while he stood in front of me, holding the papers. "So, do you also work as a waiter, because I remember you from the anniversary ceremony" I asked honestly, because it is really off.

He looked into my eyes, like he was trying to distract me from what I was asking him, before he answered " No, I don't. I was ongoing a confidential research"

"And that was why you were a waiter?" I asked wanting to be sure.

" Yes, but not really a waiter, just pretending to be one" He answered almost looking sincere.

"Okay then" I stood up from the bed "you can just drop the papers there, on my reading table. I just wanted to be sure about who I'm working with" I told him, so he wouldn't think I'm one crazy boss. Wait....why am I worried if he thinks of me like that, whatever.

Although I'm still gonna ask him questions. But that would be later, I really want to take a shower now.

"So I'll call you if I need anything,  you can excuse me now". I tell this standing blue-eyed prince charming in front of me.

Nathaniel's POV

As I went out of Dawn's room, I heaved a breath I never knew I was holding. She really has an intimidating aura, but I still don't understand why I feel nervous around her. She is beautiful, yes, no no no I mean no. Beautiful is underestimating how angelic she is.

But that shouldn't be a reason why I feel nervous, should it?

I walked down the passageway, and reached a door that leads to the garden. The flowers are really arranged and neat. But Dawn doesn't seem to be a flower person, so maybe it's for her aunt.

I looked everywhere as I entered the house back. It was really huge, lonely and feeling empty.

Then I remembered that her mother died in an unfortunate fire accident years back. She must have been devastated. But there is no news about her father. No one knows who he is.

I brought out my phone to text Jayden, as I entered my room which was adjacent to Dawn's. I'm a step further to getting what I want now.
