The scene was disheartening as the Jade Bird was doomed and everyone in the cabin fell into deep despair. It was not just the Emperor's Son who lost, but the younger generation of the Endless Star Field as well, who will now be completely suppressed by the abyss. Hopelessness pervaded the atmosphere and it felt like the only ray of light had been shattered.
