MY DAD AND ME

Indigo looked at the creature as it looked at him and grinned.

It had multiple rows of razor sharp teeth within its mouth that stretched from ear to ear, with flesh connecting the upper and lower jaws past the normal range of a mouth.

Its eyes shone a purplish red glow and it had four black horns, two large ones atop its ears and two, about half the first's length and it had blood red skin and huge, torn, midnight blue bat like wings at its back and its horse like legs were covered in deep wounds which actually showed the bones.

Indigo frowned when he regained his composure then asked,"What do you want from me?"

"I want you..."It said.

It then flew at him and a shield of lightning started forming right before it was blasted through a crystal wall with water.

Indigo looked at Alex who stood right next to him then said,"This thing just wants to possess you because you are the only one its crystal can bond with, like really."

Indigo looked at Alex, shocked then yelled,"What do you mean I'm supposed to turn into that?!"

"I mean, the crystal just wants to absorb you or you to absorb it, but it wouldn't change you in the way you think, think about Felix."Alex responded.

They heard a growling sound echoing from all around then Alex yelled as he was scratched in his ribs then thrown into the air, crashing into a wall, shattering all the crystals and making them collapse all over him.

Indigo ran to his injured son who was unconscious then his eyes started glowing as he yelled, right before a booming air current forced through the cave, carrying the lighter debris, right before an even larger one exploded the entire place.

He then heard someone say,"Yes! Yes! More!"

"Shut up!!"Indigo yelled.

He pulled his fist back and a current of air was blown at it and hit the beast in the chest and it stumbled backwards two steps right before Indigo appeared and rammed its head into his knee, breaking some of its teeth.

He pulled it by the arm then elbowed it in the chin and blue blood splashed all over the floor.

Wings made of red flames formed at Indigo's back as the wings of the creature started being torn off by an invisible force and it yelled in pain, while also saying,"Yes, yes! Finish the job! Take the crystal!"

Indigo smirked then said,"Rot in h*ll."

Then it burst into purple flames as it screeched in pain and he watched it burn.

The gem fell down and he heard whispers come from it, saying,"I can heal him, I can stop all this, just wear me..."

Indigo picked it up and looked at it then asked,"How stupid do you think I am?"

He flicked his finger and it was launched with a powerful air current through the rubble and into the sunset then he ran to Alex but felt different.

He looked down to see the gem stuck on his chest and forcefully forming a chain around it.

He removed it and crushed it but it reformed then said in his mind,"Let me help..."

He calmed down as it turned clear then he placed his hand on Alex's chest as the cave was repaired by the wind picking it up and undergoing chemical reactions which cemented and reformed the destroyed place.

Then Alex's eyes fluttered open then he said,"You bonded with it."

"And it wouldn't hurt anyone."Indigo completed.

I looked into its eyes right before it head butted me into the floor then stomped on my belly.

I did a kip up and wiped some saliva from my lips as it was busy entertaining the diverse crowd.

It turned then grinned at me and in a second, appeared in front of me and before I could react, I punched me three times in the gut, then smashed my head into its knee while simultaneously giving me an elbow uppercut, throwing my head up.

It then smashed its palms hard on my ears then gave me a palm strike to the face, digging its fingers into my eyes and nose and I fell down, trying to get up again...

It picked me up from the floor and started pulling me apart, I could hear my bones cracking even with the water strengthening them, then it threw me, back first into its knee and I yelled loudly.

I fell and rolled over as it threw me up then side kicked me and I fell and rolled backwards right before it pulled me back to itself and elbowed me in the chin.

I fell down, blood all-over my face and was dizzy as it walked over to me and grinned as it kicked me in the side then said,"Third round, no lights, no crystals, let me see what you're made of."

At that moment, the chain unwrapped from my wrist and flew back to it as I struggled to my feet.

I was sweating as I looked at it, then threw a punch but it caught my arm, punched me, hard in the belly, then threw me to the floor.

I yelled in pain as it kicked me to get up again.

I slowly stood up as the crowd roared then held my fists up and threw a sloppy cross but it slipped below and gave me a shot to my liver.

I fell to my knees as it kneed me in the face then picked me up by the collar and punched me in the face, repeatedly then dropped me.

I could barely move as it declared its victory to the crowd which roared for a moment, then fell silent.

It looked back to see me on my feet again, then grinned.

It picked up a melon hammer and threw a bottle axe at me, I could feel the energy radiating from it.

It howled then ran at me.

I spat blood on the floor, then swiped the axe but it had already gotten to me and kneed me in the belly, right before spinning me over its head and ramming me back first into the ground.

I couldn't even yell, I was just paralyzed as it swiped its arms and some undead soldiers attacked me to finish the job when it was done...

Maame had located Anneliese and the others and Alex told them where I was, while the two ladies and Curtis, the lady charmer were surprised that Indigo also had a gem...an ironically clear one.

They got to the arena and Anneliese saw me getting my butt handed to me then she screamed my name but Indigo stopped her and cautioned,"You only get in, you never get out."

"I have to help him! Let me go!"She screamed.

"Anneliese, calm down."Alex said.

"Then why don't you save him?!"She yelled.

"Because I can't, that beast has everything under its control."He answered.

Anneliese then lost her control and elbowed Indigo in the chin and ran through the crowd to the ring but they caught her just in time.

I was able to tilt my head slightly to look at the cause of the commotion and I saw it was Anneliese, screaming my name, I knew she loved me and now I was done holding back...
