Chapter 25: ADVENTURE

The training continued relentlessly, pushing them beyond their limits as they honed every aspect of their being. They trained their body with fierce dedication, sculpting it into a vessel of strength and agility.

Their oval, the energy field surrounding them, was fortified, expanding with each passing session. Mental walls grew stronger, reinforcing their willpower and fortitude, enabling them to endure physical and psychological challenges.

Consciousness sharpened, allowing them to sense the faintest of shifts in their surroundings. Perception became heightened, as they learned to anticipate the moves of an opponent before they were even made.

Reaction speed increased, turning split-second decisions into instinct. Their battle style evolved, becoming a seamless fusion of grace and lethal precision. Day by day, they trained, fought against Stelio training robots, absorbed wisdom, and transcended their former self.

Every facet of their training interwove, forming a solid foundation of power and resilience. With each trial, they approached perfection, readying themselves for the adventure to come.o on.

They trained daily till the very day of the adventure.

On the eve day of the designated day for the adventure. They all sprawled on the floor trying to catch their breaths after an intense training.

Silence reigned, only the sound of their ragged breaths permeates the atmosphere. Until Timmy broke it.

"Tomorrow is the day, what are your plans? " Timmy asked when they were done for the training of that day.

"As for me, i have no plan" Sam replied

"I plan to come out on top one way or the other " Vondrel stated

"Your words has loopholes in them" Noah said to Him

"Well i hope you're not planning something stupid " James said

"We really don't have to push ourselves than this, take a look at us, we have all grown far more stronger than we are before the training " he added

"Hmm...there is no growth in me other than my sword skill, well i've accepted my fate. I've decided to improve my sword skills and even try to create personal techniques" Vondrel said with a strong conviction

"Emm...try to control that aura of yours, i can't continue to protect us from you always" James said irritatively

"I'm sorry....i was just displaying my strong will " Vondrel apologize

"He said he didn't grow but he exudes a dangerous aura. What if he actually grows." Sam muttered.

"So...any news from miss Abby? " Vondrel asked

Immediately they'll turned their faces to Stelio who had been listening to them all this while. They had even gotten used to him, though he and Sam do argue once in a while.

"Hmm...she is having a tough time out there presently" Stelio answered them

"How is that even possible, what can actually give her tough time?" Sam questioned

"Is there a threat that is as strong as Clark Munroe or Tiffany Rufus? " Timmy suddenly asked.

Those names mentioned are the names of the two strongest entity on earth not counting the hidden forces, this trio are called the protectors not just due to their powers but also their intelligence and participation in the defense and order of earth.

They are Clark, Tiffany and Abby.

"If the threat was something so simple and direct it would have been dealt with since, no one knows the true strength of miss Abby, but the threat is something unseen and unknown which cause delay. " Stelio answered

"Hmm...i hope she deals with it soon and come back safely " Vondrel said

Stelio "_"

"When did you start caring about her? " Sam questioned

"Cough cough...lets start going, i want to sleep early " Vondrel said awkwardly

The rest were surprised, but they decided to follow him home.

The next morning came, every first year student were all gathered, some were eager while some were tensed.

Vondrel and his friends were all gathered in an open field, they were all facing an erected platform and awaiting the said instructor to address them.

"Good day everyone, today is the day we have all been anticipating, it is the day for all students in the world to be sent out to show case what they had learnt about this world and life itself. " the instructor said

"You're all required to group yourself six, each group will be led by a gifted, so the names of the leaders of each group will be called and then the members will be called after, so you join the group where your names falls in" the instructor added.

"Sir can i ask a question? " One of the gifted asked

" Go on" the lecturer said

"Why are we selected to lead a bunch of weakling, knowing they will slow us down, can't we go solo?" the guy asked

"Well we choose this method so as to make the power scale equal and so we can unite you guys" the instructor answered before calling names

Rina's name was called and the members of her group were called.

"Every leader should step up to receive a chip that contains the names and information of your members" the instructor said

Luckily Vondrel and his friends fell under the leadership of Rina Willis.

"Once you have found your members, Pls kindly step into that hall over there, each groups would be given a storage device to store all your valuables into. So start moving " he concluded before stepping down from the platform

Vondrel and his friends immediately saw a message on their watch directing them where their leader is.

"Where were you sent to? " Sam inquired

"Close to the platform " Vondrel answered

The rest raised their eyebrows, because that was the same place they were all heading to.

"OK guys, we shall see later " James said before leaving them to meet his group

He arrived at the meeting spot, expecting to find his leader alone or probably some unknown members of his new group, but what greeted him was a scene that left him speechless.

Noah his friend stood face-to-face with a girl of striking beauty. She was none other than the Ice princess 'Rina Willis', a figure whispered about with awe and reverence. Her reputation was one of coldness, but as he observed her, the reality of her presence was far more complex.

The girl's beauty was cold, yet captivating. Her skin was pale, like porcelain kissed by moonlight, flawless and almost translucent, giving her an ethereal appearance. Long, silver hair flowed down her back in soft waves, shimmering as though touched by frost.

Her eyes, a piercing icy blue, seemed to reflect the very essence of winter—chilling, distant, and powerful. Yet they sparkled with intelligence and something deeper, something unexpected.

Her figure was a graceful hourglass, a perfect figure eight that was both delicate and alluring. She wore a gown of light blue that clung to her slender frame, the fabric shimmering like ice under sunlight, accentuating her every movement.

The gown flowed to the ground, where it fanned out like a frost-covered mist, adding to her almost supernatural aura.

But it wasn't just her beauty that surprised him—it was her smile. Despite the coldness surrounding her, she smiled warmly, with an unexpected friendliness that seemed to melt the air around her.

It was soft, inviting, and entirely at odds with her chilling reputation. There was no malice or coldness in that smile, only kindness and warmth, creating a disarming contrast that left him even more intrigued.

Noah stood still, as if the Ice princess presence commanded even his respect, and he couldn't help but wonder what lay behind that beautiful, friendly smile.

'Is that his leader? But wait isn't that the same place i'm meant to meet up with my leader, is this a coincidence?' James thought to himself , before deciding to move closer.

"Who do we have here, isn't it the Ice princess and Noah? " James asked

"Are you James chucks?" Rina asked, ignoring their awkward stares.

"Yes i'm" he replied

"Welcome to the group, so what's delaying the rest?" she asked

James and Noah stared at each other before one of them spoke.

"Maybe they are finding it hard to locate this place" Noah answered

"Do you know the names, Timmy scott, Sam Maxwell and Vondrel Brightvale?" Rina asked

Noah and James.... "_"

"Why are you guys staring at me like that, is there anything on my face?" Rina asked again while touching her face.

"Sorry about that but you just mentioned the names of our friends, that's what caused the reaction " Noah answered

"Really? " Rina was surprised

"Well that's good, where are they now?".

"They will be..." James was interrupted by the loud voice of a certain someone

"What are you both doing here, aren't you meant to be searching for your leader?!!" Sam loud voice was heard.

"At least try to control your voice, you're too noisy " Timmy's angry voice was heard beside him.

"Here they are " James said while smiling

Rina eyed them all up before asking

"Where is the last one of you guys then?"

"Who could that be?" Sam asked confused

"Don't tell me Vondrel is also here" Timmy's surprised voice was heard

"That's how we saw it" Noah said

"You mean our small group is here, then where is Vondrel?" Sam questioned still confused

"I heard my name, what's going on here? " a calm voice was heard.

"What took you so long?" James asked but noticed that his friend wasn't looking at him at all but was staring at their leader and the latter was doing the same.

The other noticed the odd way both Vondrel and Rina stared at each other.

"Are they having a staring contest?" Sam asked seeing the way they were both staring at each other.

"Wel...welcome, now we can head to the hall " Rina said with a red face before walking away hurriedly.

"Why is he the one again, we have met for the third time, hope he doesn't remember what happened the first day we met." Rina thought to herself

'Why is she here??' Vondrel thought.

As if remembering his blunder. "So stupid, it's obvious she's our leader, but why she of all people, won't she punish me for what happened last time? " Vondrel asked himself

"Wow are you guys noticing the awkward silence between the two of them?" Timmy asked

"I think they have met somewhere or they know each other " Sam said

"They fought against each other during the friendly contest " Noah said

"Their first meeting was fun and awkward, that will explain why her face was red " James said with a smile

"What do you mean?" they all looked at him and asked

They got to the hall and their leader was asked to step forward to collect their food stuff and storage device.

They were then led to a teleportation matrix that will teleport them to the red planet where the adventure will start in the morrow of the next day.

Stepping into the teleportation matrix was a surreal experience. The air hummed with a faint energy, and the world around them seemed to vibrate with anticipation. As they stood in the center of the platform, a mix of excitement and unease swirled inside them.

Their heart raced, the thrill of the unknown tugging at their senses, while a tinge of fear gnawed at the back of their mind. The thought of being transported to another planet—a place so foreign and distant—both exhilarated and terrified them.

When the matrix activated, there was a brief moment of disorientation. The world around them flickered, bending and twisting in ways that defied comprehension.

Their body felt weightless, as though they were being pulled in every direction at once, and for a fleeting second, they questioned whether they would make it through.

Then, in the blink of an eye, it was over. They stood on solid ground again, though everything was different. The air smelled strange, the sky was a different color, and the gravity felt slightly off.

A sense of awe washed over them as they took in the alien landscape, realizing they had truly left their home behind. A new world stretched out before them, full of untold mysteries.

After taking in the view of the new planet.

They were led by a man in a military uniform to the place where all students were meant to pass the night before being sent into the field the next day.

All groups were giving a room each, not minding their gender but unknowingly to the students there were cameras all over the place.

Rina slept at the side of the wall while constantly releasing her chilling aura so as to scare the boys from making stupid moves.

They all moved a distance from her aura while Vondrel was the one next to her but a quiet distance from her. He sat down and was meditating not caring about the cold aura. He was so focused that he didn't notice that his friends were not at his side.

The cold aura seeped into his body, but his body break them down while turning them into fuel for him to absorb.

The rest decided to imitate him and started meditating too, they later slept off so as not to get tired the next day.

"Today is the day to prove to the world what you are made of, your predecessors has passed through this stage and proved their worth so you guys have to do yours." The head of the instructors in charge of the settlement on the red planet addressed the students.

"Now go out there and show us what you got, remember your lives are in your hands. " the man concluded

They all moved out of the base and headed deep into the red planet.
