Chapter 9

During our first match, I was focused on my role as a defender, but I also knew that I had to contribute to our team's offense if we were going to win. In the second half of the game, we were trailing by a goal, and I knew that we needed to score soon if we were going to have a chance at winning.

That's when I saw my opportunity. I intercepted a pass from the opposing team and quickly pushed forward towards their goal. As I neared the penalty box, I saw Barou making a run towards the goal, and I knew that this was our chance to score.

I quickly passed the ball to him, sending it soaring towards the net. Barou was quick to react, jumping up and heading the ball past the opposing goalkeeper, tying the game.

The stadium erupted in cheers as we celebrated our goal. The stadium is inside my head I like to think that people are cheering me on and making me feel better and better I love appreciation. I felt a sense of pride knowing that I had contributed to our success, not just as a defender, but also as an offensive player. And seeing the smile on Barou's face made it all worth it.

After the match, Barou came up to me and thanked me for the assist. He told me that I had great vision on the field, and that he was impressed with my skills. It was a moment that I would never forget, and it only strengthened the bond between us.

From that moment on, I knew that I had the potential to contribute to both the defense and the offense of our team. And I was determined to continue honing my skills in both areas, in order to become an even greater asset to the Blue Lock project.

The assist I made to Barou during our first match was a defining moment for me. As a defender, my primary focus was always on stopping the opposing team from scoring, but I also knew that I had to be able to contribute to the offense as well.

In the days leading up to the match, I had been working on my attacking skills during training sessions. I practiced my passing, my shooting, and my dribbling, all in an effort to become a more well-rounded player. And when the opportunity presented itself during the match, I was ready to seize it.

As I saw the chance to push forward towards the opposing goal, I knew that I had to act quickly. I saw Barou making a run towards the net, and I knew that he was the one I needed to pass the ball to. I trusted in my skills and my instincts, and I sent the ball flying towards him with all my might.

When Barou headed the ball into the net, the feeling of elation was indescribable. The crowd erupted into cheers, and my teammates rushed over to congratulate me. It was a moment that I will never forget.

But more than just the thrill of scoring a goal, the assist also gave me a sense of validation. It showed me that I had the potential to be a great all-around player, not just a defender. And it also helped to solidify my relationship with Barou, who had become both a mentor and a friend to me.

After the match, I continued to work hard in training, focusing on improving both my defense and my offense. And as we moved forward in the Blue Lock project, I was determined to continue contributing to the success of our team in any way that I could.
