ᑕᕼᗩᑭTᗴᖇ 47: ɪᴄᴇ ᴋɪɴɢᴅᴏᴍ

"Yalex! Get your stupid a** over here!!!" Trevor bellowed at his mate.

They weren't literally expecting to enter the domain of one of the coldest place on earth. And they didn't expect a snow storm either.

So the poor fire creatures took only seconds before they started to feel like they're going to freeze to death.

Ysabella and Kitsch became easily weak because of the below zero degrees atmosphere. Each and everyone are already coated with pure snow. And all of them except those immune to cold, couldn't help but link themselves to the only one who have a natural burning heat; Yalex.

"Wow. All this makes me feel like I'm popular." Yalex stated with sarcasm as he look at Samuel with a furrowed brows.

Unlike the rest of the group.

Samuel was feeling very nostalgic upon setting foot on his home afterany centuries. He had missed the winter wind so much just like how he had missed his family and people so much.

However, he was not expecting to see a plain land of ice. Although, he could feel their castle was buried beneath the icy ground. Somewhere down the cold ocean underneath.

"S-so! I-is this... v-visiting a-already?" Coleen asked as she trembles vigorously.

Trevor wanted to help her so bad. But fire is not his thing but his weakness. So there's nothing much he can do for her.

"I-I think... S-so where t-to next?" Yvel asked as she too was equally shivering as Coleen.

"We should hurry. The temperature here is below 0 degrees. That alone could hurt Ysabella and the new born dragon. These poor kids could freeze to death!" Rhian said to Samuel with concern.

Their leader only nodded his head as he stare down the icy ground.

"My home was buried beneath the ground. It's not that easy. Especially that our mission requires to actually 'be there!" Samuel explained earning groans from the members.

"Give him to me." They heard Yalex spoke as he took the little dragon from Yvel and engulf it into a tight hug. Covering him inside his coat to warm him.

While Coleen, Yvel and Ysabella snuggled close to his body heat.

Jade and Rhian stood beside each other with their arms crossed. Rhian is a vampire so her body is naturally cold as a corpse. While Jade had lived underwater and had a fair share of cold experience so this is only a piece of plankton for her.

Meanwhile. Samuel is a winter prince while Blue is partly dead. Trevor is weakened by fire so he's more into coldness. Yalex is a demon and temperature is never a problem to him.

So those six are hardly affected by the dropping temperature.

"How exactly is your home buried? Underground? Or underwater?" Jade asked and Samuel turned to the other five with concern.

It's really concerning to see the dragon and his rider going to their vulnerable part. Especially that the little beast is still a new born. His weakening self is directly affecting his twin sister and his rider; Yvel and Ysabella.

"Fu**ing hurry! Or else this four will freeze to death." Yalex growled rather aggressively as he could feel the faint heartbeat of the creature on his arms.

"It's underwater." Samuel said to Jade in a hurry.

"I-I can try t-to create an air space there. S-so w-we wouldn't drown. B-but... i-it might take a-a while." Coleen suggested in the midst of almost passing out.

"That's very risky!" Rhian said.

"I have an idea! But you all need to trust me on this!" Trevor suggested as he still locked his eyes on the the shivering white sorceress.

"Whatever it is. Do it now!" Yalex growled.

Samuel, Rhian and Jade nodded their heads at him. Allowing him to do as he thinks what will work for them.

Trevor's eyes glowed purple again as he directly stares at Samuel's eyes. Samuel made sure to think of what he can still remember from his castle.

And the moment Trevor got a good grasp on that image. He began to invade both Yalex and Blue's minds. Not only projecting the images in there. But also controlling it to transport themselves into the new location.

In the midst of their transport. Trevor took control of another mind. Coleen's mind specifically.

Controlling her to do as she suggested earlier so she wouldn't be distracted by the coldness that was coating her whole.

It took only atleast half a minute. And all ten of them made it to what looks like the remains of the throne room of the winter castle.

They all stood inside a huge ball of bubble that had atleast enough oxygen for them to breathe in. The air space such as Coleen suggested.

Trevor had let go of Yalex and Blue's mind but he still have Coleen under his control. And it's taking a huge toll on him because Coleen have a very strong and powerful mind. A perfect trait of a sorceress.

It was pitch dark underwater. So Samuel casted out a wave of blue snowflakes of crystals that glows blue. Illuminating the darkness into an aesthetic oceanic painting.

Finally shoning a blue brightness to the deep part of the water.

The crystals looked like spots of blue fireflies. Designing the black canvas of the pitch dark water.

Jade and Samuel are first to look around. And then the others.

"Wow! Y-you used to w-walk these halls?!" Yvel asked with so much astonishment on her face. She's hugging herself since she's still shivering.

"Wow. All I could tell from seeing this is that you're old." Rhian tsked but deep in her mind, she was very amazed to see a very old and ancient castle being preserved underwater.

Although a few of the walls and furnitures are mostly broken and destroyed. But it was all because of the final war that finally buried the castle underwater.

"Hey! I'm not that old! Atleast not as old as Yalex!" Samuel defended rather aggressively.

"Stop right there. Iam not liking where your conversation of age is heading!" Yalex warned as he glares at the two. He still have the little dragon on his arms and it won't stop wiggling as it tries to peek out from his coat to see the throne room with his own pretty viper eyes.

Yvel giggled and carefully took the dragon with her. Showing him each and every part of the throne room that his eyes can reach.

"It's been a while since I swam in cold water." Jade mumbled as she puts her hand outside the air bubble.

"Go ahead. I'd love to give you all a tour but I'm afraid I'm not the best swimmer." Samuel said to her with gentlest smile he could pull off.

Jade returned the smile to him and gestured everyone to look away.

"What's that suppose to mean?" Yalex asked but Ysabella only covered his eyes with her hand as she giggles.

"W-why? Is something wrong?" Samuel asked in confusion.

"Geez! She's a mermaid. She needs to get naked to swim in the water!" Rhian cackled as if her statement is very easy as that.

Samuel immediately flushed red as he whipped his head away and covered his eyes.

Blue also covered his eyes with his hands. And Yvel did the same to the curious dragon. Thankfully he was behaving despite of his overflowing curiosity.

And once the boys are surely not looking. Jade began to take off her clothes and handed it to Rhian.

She jumped off the air bubble and was engulfed by the large amount of cold water.

It caused a big splash to them so everyone had to close their eyes simultaneously. Gasping at the cold touch of the freezing water.

And the moment they opened their eyes, everyone was beyond astonished to finally witness Jade in her original form.

The most beautiful creature of the world of water and it's future queen.

The princess of mermaids.

She had a very beautiful and shiny tail. It had a pretty bright shade of jade. Must be the reason why she have that name.

The mermaid swam around swiftly and strongly with the water welcoming her all the way.

It recognizes the return of its master.

"Wow! Giant fish!" Ysabella suddenly said causing all the dark creatures to cackle as loud as they could.

Including Trevor and Coleen even though they are still both in a trance-like situation. Their eyes remained purple in sync as long they stay there.

So they can't really join in their conversations since they need to focus on keeping their air bubble stable.

Ysabella would have said mermaid. But she's still learning the words and all. She only remembered the word fish after seeing Jade's tail. And since she's big. She called her giant fish. So please understand the poor phoenix.

Other mermaids would have been offended. But since Jade is partly good at heart despite in her natural savage form. She only laughed it off as she swims near the phoenix who was still mesmerized of watching her.

"Giant fish! Giant fish!" The phoenix chanted to Kitcsh as she pointed at Jade while giggling.

"She's not a giant fish! She's a mermaid!" Yvel said to the phoenix as she giggle.

"Oh! Mermaid!" The phoenix laughed at her own mistake and started speaking to her brother in their own language.

"She's adorable." Yalex sighed as he stares at Ysabella with nothing in his eyes but admiration.

"Eew! You are so freakin' whipped!" Blue grimaced at him as he makes his way to touch the cold water.

"Yeah. She's adorable." Samuel spoke as he too was too dazed and tranced by the beauty of the mermaid.

He be like. F**k bewitchment. I'm so lovestruck!

Rhian and Yalex briefly looked at each other. Sharing the same naughty idea as they both giggled sheepishly.

The two slowly sneaked behind Samuel. And since he's not very far from the water...

"You should give the princess a tour." Rhian whispered to his ear.

"What?" Samuel turned around and he was suddenly pushed by Yalex to the water.

Samuel panicked not because he was pushed. But because he actually can't swim. While Yalex and Rhian just laughed hilariously at how their leader squirmed like a fish. Flapping his long arms like wings.

"That's not very nice!" Yvel scolded the two but they just kept laughing their hearts out while teasing their leader to their heart's content.

Jade quickly swim towards Samuel. She had been swimming her entire life so she can easily tell if someone knows how to swim or not.

The mermaid giggled as she help to calm Samuel. The sooner she got his attention, Samuel had stopped squirming and panicking as he was once again tranced by the beauty of the princess.

Jade made a gesture that only mermaids can understand. And it meant 'trust me'.

And yet, despite Samuel not knowing about it. He still nodded his head and trusted her.

Jade held him by his hand and guided him to swim away. Far to the corners of the throne room. To see and explore his old home.

She made sure not to use her own defensive abilities that could harm her leader.

The winter prince didn't even know how long he can hold his breathe. Nor does he remember when did the air bubble appear around his head to help him breathe as long as he swam away with the mermaid.

"Sweet mooncakes! I want to swim too!" Yvel moped as she started jumping off her spot.

It was Trevor and Coleen who helped Samuel to breathe as he and the mermaid swim away.

Yalex, Blue and Rhian followed a few minutes after them and the three didn't even need those air bubbles since they're all partly dead.

Rhian had to leave Jade's clothes with Yvel since she can't be bringing it with her underwater.

Yvel pouted as she touches the water once again. It's very cold just like the continiously dropping temperature due to the snow storm.

She knows how to swim but this water is definitely not a good one for her.

Only a few seconds later. Both Coleen and Trevor started walking in the middle of their trance-like mind-control. Even the huge bubble air moved along, with the two at its center.

Yvel didn't need to be told twice as she already understands why the two moved.

So the moon goddess and the phoenix started walking along with the two while the dragon stayed on her sister's arms.

Yvel felt so happy despite the low temperature of the place. She was beyond exaggerated upon seeing new and historical places that she had never seen in the books back at the moon.

"This is so awesome!!! Where did the others go?!" Yvel asked and just as when she saw Blue and Yalex having a duel in their demon and dark form.

They stopped walking to watch the two fight. Merely for fun and sports and Blue's blunt expression made it more fun to watch.

A few more minutes and Rhian came back....

"Look what I found!"
