In a dojo, two people were fighting. Both were wearing casual workout attire nothing flashy.

Gripping my wooden Sai I lunged at Utahime - sensei. Avoiding my strike Utahime slashes down with her wooden sword. Reversing the Sai I block the strike with my forearm using the three prongs.

I reversed it back hooking one of the outside prongs over the sword resulting in it to wedge preventing her to retract her sword to attack again.

With my other Sai in my left hand I go to impale Utahime in the stomach only for her to withdraw without her sword.

'She had to make a split decision. Now that I disarm her I have an edge over her'

Darting at Utahime I covered the distance between us In mere seconds. Now I was in front of her lifting my leg I go to kick her in the abdomen just for her to block it.

Swerving a right punch from her I spun my sai to the butt of the handle whacking her right arm three times with my right hand gaining her a bruise. After that I grab her right arm with my left hand & yank her close.

While close I swung at the back of her neck with my right hand only for her to snatch me by my shirt collar with her left hand narrowing us closer causing me to miss my attack.

Face two face I made an effort to move my left hand but couldn't as it was stuck between me & Utahime's body holding her right arm. With my right hand I adjusted my arm position forward reversing the Sai behind her. I shove the pointer of the weapon near her upper back.

"Good, I see you getting a hang of them." Utahime says

"Yeah they are useful. I like them." I said releasing the Sai from her back.

"Alight let's get another spar in." Utahime says

Nodding I took a step back.

The next day Utahime called me. I already knew it had to do with a mission likely a solo one.

Strolling into the classroom I was surprised to see Momo there sitting in a sit.

"Hello, Nishimiya."

"Hello, Kamo - kun."

"Take a sit. For this mission I'm having the both of you go together." Utahime says

Looking at Momo I nod.

'My first mission with Nishimiya pretty sure she's a scout which is good'

"The mission will not be in Kyoto. Your mission will be in Hyogo in the district of Kobe." Utahime says

"I always wanted to see Kobe Port Tower." I said looking at the ceiling.

"I'm pretty sure Kobe Harborland is near the port tower as well. I want to go to the small amusement park, especially the Ferris wheel." Momo says

"Stay on track this is a mission not a vacation. Twenty-one people have gone missing without a trace. The Police think it's a serial killer but after hearing the news Principal Gakuganji send a sorcerer to check if the case had any connections with curse spirits or even curse users. And there was a connection, curse energy was in the part of the city where we found the bodies of the victims." Utahime says

"What I need y'all to do is investigate & locate this spirit & exercise it before it clams unnecessary lives. Principal Gakuganji already got a driver who is the auxiliary manager so if something goes wrong they can tell us. It should take about an hour to get there we got a hotel if the mission takes longer than expected."

"When do we depart?" I asked

"In 30 minutes. I & Principal Gakuganji expect both of you to not cause any trouble while you're there." Utahime declares

Nodding me & momo walks out of the classroom. Stopping at the vending machine we decided to buy something to drink.

"I'm getting water what do you want?" I asked

"Strawberry milk."

Inserting the coin I pressed the button to get the milk then repeated the process for my water.

"What do you think this curse spirit grade is?" Momo questioned

"Probably a Grade one at most. Though we find out later today." I said

"I want to explore the city. Go on the Ferris wheel." Momo speaks

"Principal Gakuganji probably wants us to come back within two days. But if we complete this mission today we probably can stay for one day. But let's not force this mission." I said drinking water.

"Anyway I'm going to pack. I'll see you shortly Nishimiya." I said walking away

Getting to my dorm I walk to my closet.

'It has been 2 weeks since Principal Gakuganji showed me a storage-type curse spirit. Still not tame I'll pack some additional blood bags in my suitcase. I'll pack my Sai for melee experience can't forget clothes. I probably leave my bow here since it will hinder me. As of now I just swap between the bow & Sai until I tame the curse. Matter of fact after this mission I probably focus more on taming the curse & my new ability'

After packing I arrived at the front gates & see Momo & the auxiliary manager were already waiting for me in front of a car.

Putting all my stuff in the trunk I enter the back seat of the car sitting next to Momo.

"Nishimiya do you wanna watch a movie with me on my phone? I don't want to sit here bored." I spoke out

'I'm sounding like Todo. Is he rubbing off on me?'

"It depends on what movie we watching." She says

"I was thinking of the new Avengers movie though we won't finish it since it's two hours long." I said

"No thanks. I like to finish my movies." Momo says crossing her arms staring out the window.

"You be bored out of your mind. Plus I paid for dinner after the extreme mission I had to take. I almost died." I said shamelessly

"Fine! Turn on the movie."

"You going to have to move closer to me. My phone is not big." I said arranging my phone on my lap.
