With the overwhelming presence of the Emberwyrm suffocating the air around them, they opted to move as far away as possible to avoid interruptions. Jim, Anya, and their Blood Warriors distanced themselves from Ace, Skyler, and the Emberwyrm. It was just too dangerous for them to focus on multiple opponents at the same time while watching their backs.
