Ace Underwood, who was one of the unlucky thousands that got abducted,wakes up to find himself inside a green tube. With no idea what's going on, he manages to escape only to learn of his new changed form. The Start of a Petty Rivalry.
Using his pressurized blood technique, Jim was able to complete the fifth phase which required him and the others to kill five extremely fast-moving creatures at once, a task that Ace hadn't managed to accomplish yet.
This simple victory, for Jim, overwhelmed his senses with pride, a catalyst that sparked a petty rivalry between him and Ace. Wearing a cheeky grin, Jim saluted Ace as he moved on to the sixth phase.
The Blood Bishop, not even aware of the silly contest Jim was having, looked on with bewilderment. Wondering what was wrong with Jim, Ace decided to complete the challenge and find out for himself.
'He's acting strange,' he thought while slitting his forearms. 'Did I…piss him off with my ranting before the training phase began?'
