Chapter 2- Peaceful arc:  Promotion and mission

After Aizen asked Gin to Train Aryan.

In the evening I was greeted by a little gin, I ruffled his hair to make it messy before he can say something.

"3rd seat I am sorry, but you are way too cute" I said, "Is that so, how about I cut that arm off yours" he said.

"No thank you, 3rd seat officer gin I apologise. Let us start my assessment" I said, we went to the common training field.

"You can start attacking, don't worry you are at least 100 years to early to even make me serious" gin said with his trademark teasing tone.

"I will attack than Bakudo #1 sai" I attacked with kido, 'I know only 5 kido spells, which are all low level. It is impossible to defeat him with just this much'.

"Bakudo #4 Hainawa" gin was restrained, gin simply did not dodge.

"Bokudo #21 Sekienton" huge red smoke covered the whole arena.

"Good move" gin said while trying to break the kido, "Hado #31 Shakkaho".

"You nearly got me" gin said while jumping above the smoke.

"Hado #1 sho" "Hado #1 sho" "Hado #1 sho" I was shooting at the empty place which I believed to be the place where gin is.

"Did you get him" gin asked, "I think it was a good plan I came up with so much thinking" I said like an idiot.

"Damn when did you get here" I said shocked and sent a punch towards him. I was cleanly dodged and kicked in the face.

"So is this all you can do" Gin asked with smirk, "since kido does not work I can only take you on with by sword. 'I was literally acting like a fool' got defeated in a single move.

"I accept defeat, I have no more skills" I said, as my back was on the ground while gin was standing on me.

"Hummm, you are so weak I don't know where to start. You can only use five kido's that to so weak I did not have to struggle even a bit to break it. Your close combat is, I can only say that it is you simply fighting without any techniques and you suck at it. I will give you 1 out of 100, that too because I am kind hearted" Gin said.

I knew I was weak but this is really just too much, I had tear in my eyes but contained it.

"Since Lieutenant aizen asked I agreed and wasted my time" gin said, "3rd seat gin, please help me, I want to become stronger. I will do whatever you say" I said in kneeling position.

"I don't know, if you can. But ok I will give you a chance. If you can do 1 million push ups I will train you a little" gin said with a creepy smile.

"Ok i'll do it, but who will count it and also should I do it in a one go or I can do it with regular breaks. You know sir to work tomorrow and all" I asked.

"That, you also have a very low IQ. You have to do it in one go. Some day when you are able to do it you can meet me to train you. Until then bye bye" He said and vanished in a flash.

"one million I will never be able to do it, no human can, that shit head is playing with me" I thought, 'I am f***ked'.

After that one day training I made up my mind to first do one million push ups, then I can think about doing it in a day.

The days passed peacefully, I became busy with training and did not forget to have fun with my wife every few days. 2 years passed finally I was able to complete one million push ups.

Slowly I had learnt 3 more kido techniques and improved slightly in my close combat. As for awakening my zanpakuto I have a long way to go.

"Ho arya, it been a long time since we meet. How are you doing" Aizen asked as I come to submit some reports.

"I am doing fine lieutenant; 3rd seat officer gin had given me some instruction to improve so I am focused on it." I said, "Keep up the good work, one day you will definitely become strong" aizen said.

"I will, thank you lieutenant" I said and left.

The days were passing very peacefully; I had set my goal to 10 million push-ups and slowly days passed with sometimes few missions and few leisure days. I started to note down the plot I known just to be sure I did not forget.

Five years later I had achieved the 10 million mark, I was now able to do 10000 push-ups and run 20 km every day.

I have now a total of 13 kido spells and 2 barrier kido, I have also started to read the medical book as I have to improve my understanding of the soul reapers to use my future abilities effectively.

Today was a special day as Aizen was finally promoted to captain of squad 5 and gin was promoted to lieutenant, while new promotion was tosen kaname was promoted as squad 9 captain, while shunsuke nakamura was promoted to captian of squad 3 and sajin komamura was promoted to captian of squad 7. Obtaining 4 captains was something to celebrate.

As I am an unknown soul reaper I was having a free time and decided to have a spar with my wife, I had only spared with her once to lose pitifully, as you know anyone who is a seated officer has already awakened their zanpakuto.

Her zanpakuto was a little familiar it was called as "Saru no Sen buki" it can change its shape to whatever weapon she wants, like a spear, bow and arrow, literally any weapon.

Her ability has so much potential I was seriously a little jealous but compared to my ability this is nothing.

And today since we were free I am having my rematch, it might seem like to much for me but I can feel that I had become a little stronger.

"I am having this spar as the 20th seat of squad 5 so don't expect me to go easy on you" Kyoko said with a grin.

"I have improved quite a bit, I am confident in my ability" I said, "let's start" I attacked immediately.

I used my newly learned technique flash step, to close the distance and threw a punch. Shocking her a little but she was able to deal with by attack,

"Bakudo #4 Hainawa" I caught her by surprise, a little bit of carelessness and I have her cornered. "Bakudo #40 shitotsu sansen" the next attack pinned her heavily into the ground.

"Did not expect this outcome did you" I said while speaking arrogantly. "You cheated" she said suddenly, "no I did not" I said.

"You attacked when I was unprepared" she said, "Saru" She called out her zanpakuto and a sword coloured fully in purple appeared.

"You tricked me" I was surprised as she used her zanpakuto to break the kido, "is my kido that weak" I thought as everyone was able to break free from it so easily.

"I show you my new weapon, this is a deadly one so dodge it" kyoko said and suddenly her sword transformed into an flintlock gun.

'SHIT, this is a cheat weapon' I heard one shot and found out I have no holes in my body, then I increased my distance and kept moving irregularly this is the only way I can think of fighting a ranged weapon.

She needs time to aim while I cannot give her the time to aim. "Hado #4 byakurai"

I was successful in distracting her, moving from side to side and distracting her from shooting, similar strategy as fighting bow and arrow.

"Your kido had definitely improved, but you lack power in it" kyoko said as she defended against Byakurai.

"Hado #4 byakurai" "Hado #4 byakurai" "Hado #4 byakurai" "Hado #4 byakurai".

"May be but a group can still deal damage".

Our fight continued for a while, neither of us had advantage she was not able to aim properly and my kido was weak, she switched to a spear and used kido to fight.

"Hado #31 Shakkaho" I had to dodge it with some efforts and the next moment she had her gun aimed right at me "Got you" the bullet passed right next to my ear.

"I win" she said laughing "you and your damn zanpakuto, you zanpakuto is a cheat" I complained loudly but she shut me up with a kiss.

"I can go another round".

The next day all the members of squad 5 assembled and give a promotion party to Aizen and Gin. Aizen is liked and respected by everyone, he has basically zero haters. So, him becoming captain was celebrated by everyone.

Later that day in the Aizen made few announcements,

"Today I would also like to announce that all the other officers have also ranked up by one level, and Kozuki Aryan will be our new 20th seat" This announcement made everyone cheer for me, I was also stunned.

"Captian Aizen, I don't think I am qualified for as seated officer. I don't even have the strength to stand with them" I said, I was not being polite I was weaker than many people.

"Aryan it is not your strength that I have considered, but your work and ability to deal with paper works. Because of you we were able to set a standard organisation of documentation, this is also an achievement that others could not. For your merits in this it was decided that you will be promoted" Aizen said.

"Yes, because of you we can do less paper works. This is a headache for any officers, so we all recommended it" Said everyone.

"I thank you all" I was crying, my work experience in previous life finally paid off.

"I will treat everyone to the part today, lets drink" I shouted "Yes" everyone shouted.

"Ahem!" Kyoko was glaring at me, "may be not" I sat down as if nothing happened. Causing everyone to laugh out.
