Chapter 22: Blood Prison…
The other lookouts were gazing upon the horrific death of their comrade in shock. The three of them were traumatized by the sight. Before his final remains whittled away, BlackBlood turned to the other Lookouts and the look on her face ensured them that their lives were forfeit...
The lookout to her right was now the target. She leaned in and inhaled a healthy portion of his fear... With a delightful grin she put her hand to his chest and reached inside and seconds later, his body started to collapse within itself....
First his arms were forced to be shortened, as if they were being suctioned by a vacuum from within his body. She calmly stares into his eyes like she sees a deeper pain than the one displayed on his face...
Next his legs crackled and twisted, being sucked back into his body. BlackBlood's other hand still holding the sphere of blood was gaining mass and spinning above her palm...
Then lastly his head crumbled within itself and in a flash his neck was sucked within his body... BlackBlood then pulled her hand out of the limbless sack and the outer layer of skin was sucked within, leaving just a blob of flesh to fall to the ground...
Aet was off deep into the ship on his way to retrieve Gargy from the Pods when he was taken by Magenta's Paradox. He also heard it clear as day. But instead of going back toward the corridor where he left BlackBlood, he rushed toward the pods to wake up Gargy...
Once he reached the pods he had Gargy checked out by the Crew. He noticed a change in Gargy. But couldn't put his hand on it exactly...
(Dr) Aet! Come and see this...
The crewman handed Aet the chart with all of Gargy's numbers from the past couple of days...
(Aet) Astonishing!! His muscle mass and body weight went up thirty percent, in spite of losing his wings. His chest is much thicker and widened by four inches on both sides, and his shoulders have even broadened out. His head measurements seemed to have spiked some too...
Gargy was no longer small for his species, in fact some may say he's bigger than any Gargoyle his age. He was fed a compound mixture of nutrients essential to replacing lost and damaged cells. Aet was truly a top notch Scientist indeed...
He urged Gargy to follow him to BlackBlood. The time he had taken to test the Gargoyle was all BlackBlood needed to be finishing up. As Gargy and Aet reached the opening of the Door, the first thing they saw was her final act with the one remaining Lookout...
There were two meat sacks lying on the ground and she had a small sphere of blood floating to the right side of her head. There was a Druid floating in the air in front of her, and he seemed terrified...
(Aet) BlackBlood!! I thought you said we are here for negotiations for your Gargoyle to fight that Hyena... We should really just try to negotiate and get what's owed from the last bout...
She slowly turned toward Aet. Her face had a cringe-worthy smile upon it, as if she was in a festival of pleasure. Her head seemed small in comparison to the twisted maniacal grin on her face. Aet would not overstep his boundaries. He understood...
Gargy walked out towards BlackBlood and Aet noticed that his walk was a bit heavier, there was a shudder to each step. This Gargoyle has made huge strides over a matter of days. The loss of his wings should've affected him - and it did - but it seems to have helped him evolve... Aet's thoughts were precise: Gargy had matured overnight...
BlackBlood kicked one of the carcasses over towards Gargy. He grabbed it with his claws and lifted it up and started to chomp away at the flesh to his fill. He was staring at the last lookout; now he too was giving off a menacing vibe... Gargy had changed much to the liking of BlackBlood...
BlackBlood stepped over to the floating Druid and took the sphere and stuffed it in the mouth of the Druid, taking her finger and placing it on his head... She ran her finger down the top of his skull, down his neck and tracing his spine downward to his foot. She then turned around...
His body had sizzled and bubbled into a pool of blood following down the line she charted... Turning darker red and bright red light started glowing. It must've been the blood sphere... It slowly followed the down the line causing his body to erode and decay. Straight through the bone, everything melted away at a slow sizzle, from the top of his head down to the very bottom of his foot...
(Aet) Let's do whatever it is you came to do BlackBlood... You have my Loyalty. I will do my best to assist you on your journeys...
(BlackBlood) Now you can finally see it??? You can and will be very useful Aet. Let's go down there now and talk about that Hyena...
She put her hands together and formed a semi fist leaving two fingers in each hand out, and then in a semi-circular motion she pushed outwards and said -Blood Prison-...
The Sphere turned black, then shot up into the air and became invisible in seconds... Aet just looked on and did not question what she did...
(Aet) BlackBlood we should get into a pod and go down there in case they have an ambush in place...
The Trio would get into a pod and float down to the center of the Oasis.... The Circle was prepared for them with weapons drawn and casters alike focusing on the pod....
(Rigor) These people have killed our Scouts. Whoever they are, they deserve to die, so don't hold back...
They were standing staggered, and a caster was placed in between the gaps of the warriors. They had the numbers and an intent to kill whoever was coming out of that Pod...
