Keith

Kane went to school the next day and noticed a few people watching him in secret. Venom said "People are watching us." Kane said "I know. Maybe from the same group as Keith?" Venom said "I can't tell, I can only feel them."

Kane frowned and went into an alley before disappearing, the people following him went into the alley and looked around before finding no one. Suddenly two giant metal arms grabbed them and brought them up to the roof.

Kane looked at them and said "Who are you? Why are you following us?" Venom was covering him, so they didn't know who they were talking to. One of the men said "Shield." Venom said "Shield? What is that?"

One of the agents said "Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division." Kane said "That's a mouthful. Why are you following us?" One of the agents secretly took a syringe and took from Venom as the other one said "We want you to come with us."

Kane growled "You want to control us?!" he crushed the hand that was holding the agent with the syringe and directly killed him. The other agent paled and Venom said "We work alone." before he killed the other agent.

Venom ate them and Kane picked up the syringe before crushing it, allowing the contents to come back to him. Kane jumped off the roof and reverted to normal before walking out of the alley and looking over his shoulder as he said "Looks like we're in trouble."

Venom snarled "Ants. They want to make us a lab rat!" Kane frowned and said "This isn't good, Venom. If they get us, you'll be in trouble." Venom said "Me?" Kane nodded and said "They'll keep you for testing." Venom said "What about you?"

Kade said "Probably throw me in prison, but you're the one who'll suffer." Venom was silent, Kane for him was just a host in the beginning but it was a quick change. Kane never treated him as an alien, it was always a friend.

Kane actually did this unintentionally. He never had any friends, now that he had one he didn't want him to suffer. Kane said seriously "We need to start speeding things up." Venom said "Let's do it." Kane made a serious face and ran back to the Mill, only to see people sneaking around there as well.

He frowned and left, his home was over run as well. Kane cursed and ran into the city before hiding in an alley until night.

A while later

Venom covered Kane and they scaled a building. Kane looked around and said "I don't see anything.." Venom said "2 in the alley and 3 across the street." Kane looked and sure enough, there were agents crawling around everywhere.

Kane jumped from buildings, looking for the groups of thugs, hoping to see a centipede logo.

Kane leapt from building to building before seeing a small group having a meeting of sorts. Kane jumped down and the group turned to him, pointing their guns at him.

Kane shot out his arms and grabbed them all with his hands as he said "What do you know about a centipede logo!" one of the gangsters said "The Reapers?" Kane killed the rest and brought the guy who spoke forward as he said "Who are they?!" the guy turned white and said "They're a big organization!"

Kane snarled "Where are they?!" The man said "I don't know! They're very secretive!" Kane grunted and crushed the man's skull before leaving, Venom said "My meal!" Kane said "Later, we have a name now!"

Kane and Venom jumped to a rooftop and kept looking for gangs in the area, after getting nothing from 3 gangs, the fourth gave an area where they work in.

Kane ran across the city and saw a man shuttling around. He narrowed his eyes and followed him, the man looked both directions before doing a secret knock on an alleyway door, the door opened and a guy with a centipede logo on his chest said "Done?" the man nodded nervously and the doorman let him in before closing the door.

Kane grinned and said "Bingo!" he jumped down and did the secret knock, the door opened and Kane grabbed the guy's head before he could speak and devoured it. Kane walked inside and said "So crude." Venom replied "Tasty."

Kane said "We need to find a different method, I can't handle eating brains for much longer..." Venom said "It's the chemicals inside that I need, not the actual flesh." Kane said in confusion "So why do you eat the entire body?" Venom said "Can't leave any traces behind.."

Kane was speechless and said "What's the chemical?" Venom replied "Phenylethylamine." Kane snapped "We can eat chocolate instead! No more brains!" Venom said "Fine." Kane nodded and walked through the base.

He walked into a room and saw the guy saying "Boss, I can't find that kid!" the boss said "Go and fi-" Kane stepped out and revealed his face as he said "Looking for me?" The boss said "Who are you?!"

Kane sneered and said "The guy you're looking for, I have to say, you are a hard bunch to find." Venom came back and said "But we like to hunt!" The boss shouted "Fire!" a bunch of grunts startled shooting at Kane, but couldn't pierce Venom at all.

Kane's arms formed into axe heads and he slashed the grunts in half as he slaughtered the people inside the base as the boss ran away to the science lab, where Keith was.

Kane killed all the people inside and punched a hole in the door to the science lab before walking inside. The boss was in front of the tank and sneered "My weapon will deal with you!"

Kane looked around before seeing the boss in front of a glass tank. Kane clenched his fists and the metal in the room started trembling as he growled "Keith!"

Keith's eyes shot open and he saw Kane, he punched through the tank and grabbed the boss' neck before breaking it and shattering the tank completely. Keith landed on the ground and snarled "Kane.."

Kane shouted and all the metal in the room formed arms before Kane punched at Keith.

Keith punched forward and their fists met. The metal exploded outwards before coming back and reforming. Kane formed a claw and an axe as he swiped and slashed at Keith, who dodged the axe and grabbed the claw, flipping it and slamming it on the ground.

Kane shot forward and kicked at Keith, who ducked and elbowed Kane in the knee.

Kane's leg flew out and Kane slapped his hand at Keith, sending him flying through the walls and out of the building. Kane chased after him and landed on the streets, he grabbed Keith and spun around before throwing him into another building before punching towards him with a giant arm.

Keith smashed into the building and was immediately punched through it.

Kane followed him and held both his hands above his head, forming a giant axe before slamming down at Keith.

Keith clapped his hands together and caught the axe before rolling out of the way. Keith charged at Kane and tackled him, smashing him through a wall and slamming him into the ground.

Venom said "Kane! We need to do something, this guy isn't feeling anything!" Kane said "I have a plan!" Kane pulled his knees in before shooting them out and stomping both his feet on Keith's chest, sending him flying into the air.

Kane formed a giant spike and shot it through the air, stabbing Keith right in the gut. Kane brought the spike back and sneered "Show's over, Keith." Keith looked up and grinned "You're not the one one who has superpowers now, loser." as he punched at Kane again, his stomach wound already healing.

Kane was stunned and took a punch to the chest, going flying in the air and smashing into rubble. Kane groaned and Venom said "That hurts." Kane said "You can say that again." Keith grabbed Kane's head and slammed him into the ground, before stomping on his chest.

A blue light flashed in Keith's eyes as he said "End of the line, Kane. You lose."

Suddenly there was a loud voice "Take your foot off the monster and step back with your hands above your head, or we will shoot." Keith looked around and saw a bunch of people in suits with guns trained on him.

Kane took the opportunity and punched Keith in the chest, sending him flying through the air into the base. Kane snarled "Leave us alone! Fucking Shield!" before chasing after Keith.

Kane formed a giant metal arm and punched through the building, hitting Keith once again. Kane dropped the metal arms and turned his hands into spikes as he stabbed at Keith, who dodged Kane's spikes but still got hit with a few stabs.

Blood was pouring out of Keith's wounds and Kane grabbed his neck while punching through his stomach as he said "Remember when you broke my mother's tombstone?" Kane pulled his fist back before punching through him again saying "Remember when you ruined my life?!"

Kane slammed Keith onto the ground and aimed a spike at his head and shouted "Remember when you sent an assassin after me?! You won't escape me this time, Keith!" Keith spat and grinned "Go ahead trash."

Kane grit his teeth and was about to pierce Keith's skull when an explosion happened on Kane's back. Venom shouted in pain and his form started to become chaotic, Keith kicked Kane and ran away.

Kane went to chase after him when a metal suit dropped in front of him and said "Woah, there buddy. I never fought a monster before!" Kane snarled "You're letting him get away!" he tried to go around him but the metal suit stopped him again saying "Am I air to you? Helloooo, Ironman here! Though, I don't have a pen for autographs, sorry."

Kane roared and formed a giant metal fist, before punching at Ironman, who felt like he was being pulled to the fist. Tony said "Ah, not good." as he got punched. Kane dropped the metal before chasing after Keith, but Tony fired a repulsor beam at Kane.

Kane jumped out of the way and looked in the direction Keith was in only to see he disappeared. Kane cursed "Fuck! He got away!" he turned to Tony and said "What's your problem?!" Tony was startled and said "I'm sorry, big monster or another human.. Hmm tough call!"

Kane revealed an arm and said "I'm human too, moron! You just let him escape! I was looking for him for months! That was my revenge!" Kane growled and formed two giant metal arms before swinging them at Tony.

Tony couldn't fly away because of the attraction to Kane's fists, so he got slapped around. Tony was getting thrashed and said "Jarvis! Analyze it!" Jarvis said "It's unidentifiable Sir, but it didn't like the explosion from before, perhaps you can figure something out?"

Tony said "Isn't that what you're for?" before firing a rocket at Kane, it exploded on his chest and Kane and Venom screamed in pain, Venom got chaotic again and bubbled off Kane's body. Kane dropped the metal and punched at Tony before running away and disappearing in the darkness.

Tony landed on the ground and said "Jarvis replay that." the scene appeared in front of him again and Tony said "It wasn't the explosion... but the sparks of flames after? It's weak to flames?" Jarvis quipped "It would appear so Sir." Tony looked at the small writhing piece of Venom on the floor and silently picked it up before flying off.

The Shield agents flooded in and saw only debris and traces of battle but no people, everything was destroyed and the piece of Venom was taken by Tony.

Kane went back to the Steel Mill and collapsed on the couch. Venom receded and revealed Kane's bloody body, that was slowly healing.

Kane hissed and said "We need to have actual combat training, buddy." Venom said "And no more flames." Kane chuckled before getting serious and saying "Is what you said true?" Venom replied "Yes, but it's not spawn. It's part of myself. It will die without me."

Kane frowned and said "If it doesn't?" Venom was silent before saying "It's impossible. Even if it does stay alive, it will be 'dead'. Without the brain, it won't continue to work." Kane nodded and sighed "I think we might be fucked here, Venom. We're not strong enough." Venom said "What are we going to do?"

Kane sat up and said "We'll go for a training. Not only power training, but real life fights. Deathmatches." Venom said "Where are you going to find that?" Kane grinned and said "I heard of a place from those thugs. If we're lucky, we'll meet Keith again. Let's go."

Venom chuckled and said "No recovery?" Kane grinned and said "Better to get used to pain, no?" Venom chuckled and Kane put on a hoodie before leaving the Mill.

A while later

Kane knocked on a door in an alley. The door opened and a guy said "What do you want?" Kane said "To fight." the man nodded and opened the door, Kane walked in with his hood covering his face. The man led him to a room and said "The boss is in there. He arranges the fights."

Kane nodded and walked inside.

A man with a thick beard was sitting at a table, smoking a cigar. He looked over at Kane and said "Who let you in here kid? Did you lose your parents?" Kane took off his hood and said "I came here to fight, not bullshit around with you." the man raised an eyebrow and said "You know who you're talking to kid?"

Kane said bluntly "Just set me up for a fight and stop talking bullshit. You and I both know you don't care how old I am, as long as you make money." the man slowly grinned and said "I like smart people. Alright kid, I'll set you up for a fight, what's your name?"

Kane grinned and said "Venom." the man said "Chazz, nice to meet you. Your fight is in 5, a warm up round before the main event. Understand?" Kane didn't care and nodded before leaving.

Venom said "Exciting!" Kane chuckled and said "Hopefully we came to the right place." before walking to the arena. It was a caged boxing ring.

A few minutes later

Chazz stepped out and said "Ladies and gentlemen! We have a newcomer fighting before the main event tonight! Let's give a warm welcome to Venom!" Kane stepped out into the ring and a guard locked the door behind him.

Chazz continued "Fighting against the newcomer is the ruthless killer! Rampage!" the crowd cheered and a big man full of muscles walked into the cage, he even closed the door himself. Chazz added "Place your bets people!"

Rampage looked at Kane and said "Figured you lived for too long kid?" Kane said nothing and Rampage sneered "I'll go easy on you." Kane just grinned and Chazz announced the start of the fight.

Rampage charged at Kane and threw a punch at his head, looking to end it immediately. Kane closed his eyes and tilted his head before uppercutting Rampage in the stomach and piercing right through.

The crowd was quiet and Rampage's body fell to the ground, Kane looked down before kicking Rampage in the head, and exploding it like a watermelon. Kane looked up at Chazz and said "Get someone who can actually fight next time." before walking to the cage door and leaving the ring, under the silence of the crowd.

Chazz was startled before he said "Venom wins!" the crowd bust into cheers at the carnage and brutality. Chazz quickly left and found Kane before saying "You should have said something kid! I would've tilted the bets!" Kane chuckled and said "You never asked."

Chazz had a wry smile and Kane added "Do you have any real fighters? I need life and death fights against professionals, not muscleheads." Chazz nodded and said "I got a ton!" Kane nodded and said "I can fight for a long time and I'll be back tomorrow." Chazz grinned and escorted him to the door.

Kane left and grinned, seems like he would actually get some training here. He snuck into an abandoned house before sleeping in the bed that was there, looking forward to tomorrow.
