Chapter 36

Tom got a call from his parents that they want to see him and since it's weekend and Tom have no where to go and he is not going to office or working on his laptop he decided to go pay his parents visit, he walks downstairs and he saw Becky is still at home and she has not gone to see her mum.

“ I thought you said, your mum is not feeling fine and you wanted to go and see her. Why are you still here?”Tom ask.

“ Ehn... I called and she told me she is fine now since she has heard my voice but I promise to come see her in the evening” Becky says.

“ Alright, I am going out now and I might come back home late” Tom says and he left and Pauline came.out from the kitchen holding a plate of noodles eating with her folk and she smiled.

“ Pauline! Can you give me a helping hand on cleaning the kitchen so that I will finish fast and rest before we go out to have fun” Becky says.

“ I am sorry dear cousin bit I can't give you a helping hand, remember Tom does not want me here so why will I be doing the maid job, you are the maid so I yo should do it, you do not need my help” Pauline says and Becky stood staring at her and Pauline notice.

“ Why are starting at me that way, you should do your work” Pauline says and Becky continue doing her work.

Cassie walks out from her room and she walks to the balcony and she saw Jessica seated smiling alone while drinking her tribute juice.

“ Humm... I can see you smilling again after a short while tell me is it because Mike that dropped yesterday” Cassie says.

“ Yes, of course, it's because of him. I am so happy but I think he has come back to his sense” Jessica says.

“ Yes, I can accept that but I will still advice you to work hard in getting what belongs to you back” Cassie says.

“ Yes, you are right. It's high time I step up and I need to know who has come between us” Jessica says and she sio her juice.

“ Yes, I love to hear that” Cassie says and she smiled.

“ Guess what!” Cassie says.

“ How do you expect me to guess when I have no idea about what you about to say” Jessica says.

“ Alright, what I am about to says is that Leo and myself will be going out to have fun this weekend” Cassie says and she smiled.

“ Wow that is great but what's the location?” Jessica ask.

“ Well it's going a be a night club” Cassie says.

“ Wow that is going to be fun” Jessica says.

“ Yes, it's going to be a real fun. Am I might even get him drunk so I can get down with him” Cassie says.

“ Dont you think that is to fast?” Jessica ask.

“ I think so but I think there are many that want to have Leo because he is so handsome and fit so I have act fast to get him first” Cassie says.

“ That us true but I think you should still take slow with him” Jessica says.

“ I will think about that” Cassie says but she already know what she wants to in her mind.

Tom drives in to his parents, house he get down from his car and ye walks in this the building and he saw Isabella with his parents and he gets surprised and wonders what is she doing in his parents house and he walks clowr to his dad and mum and he greet them and Isabella smiles seeing him.

“ What are doing here Isabella?” Tom ask.

“ I called her here” his mum says.

“ Wow, you have a business to run with her guess mum”Tom says.

“ No at all dear, I called her because of you” his mum says and Tom gets shocked.

“ Because of me” Tom says in surprise.

“ Yes son, your mum called her because of you” his dad was and he walks coowr to her and tap him by his shoulder.

“ What do you mean?” Tom ask.

“You a man, you should understand where your mum is driving at” His dad says.

“ How I am supposed to know when I did not invite her over?”Tom says.

“ Isabella is a nice a girl and every man’s dream and I know she is the right girl for you” his mum says and Tom smiled.

“ No mum, I don't she is and mum is this why you called me here?” Tom ask and his dad walks clowr to him.

“ Son lets go have a privacy outsie” his dad says and he walks outside with his dad and Isabella gets sad.

“ You should not worry dear, his dad will speak to him, I personally like and I want you to be my daughter in law you have my blessings already and my support so don't be scared he is going to agree” Tom’s mum says and Isabella smile that she has Tom’s mum support.

Tom and his dad walks around the compound to discuss.

“ Dad! Why is mum doing this? Are you also in support in this?” Tom ask.

“ I guess yes so the answer us yes” his dad says.

“ Son, Isabella is a nice girl and a hard working girl that will add value to our company and I all sure if you get married to her you will not regret it trust me son” His dad says.

“ So that is your reason why you want to get married to her ?” Tom says.

“ Dad! I always known you to care about my feelings but what happened to you, Isabella is not my kind of woman I have another girl in mind. Do you even about my feelings or how I will feel?” Tom ask.

“ How do you even go about this? Did Isabella came to meet you herself that she wants both us together”Tom ask.

“ She did not come herself but her dad speak to me about this and when she spoke to her, she said yes without refusing her dad so I expect you to do the same too son” his dad says.

“ You expect me to do the same, I am guy and she is girl so she can agree to what ever get far says to her, I all a man bit everything my parents says I will agree to” Tom says.

“ So, you mean that you will not listen to what your parents tells you” his dad says.

“ Dad! Don't let us talk about this, I have spoken my mind”Tom says.

“ Son! I want you to think about this and how much benefits is going to be add to the company, remember we always get contract from her dad and it's all because of her sue has been so nice to the family and you” his dad says.

“ There is nothing to think about dad and those contract you are taking about I got them because of my hard work not because she liked me” Tom says.

“ She can decided not give you if you she wants even though you work hard for it” his dad says and Tom is short of words.

“ What if her dad decided to stop giving the company contract just because you refuse his son, what will you do?” His dad ask.

“ You should think about it son” his dad says and he started at hi dad without knowing what to says.

It's evening already and Becky dress up and Paulin walks aside to call Mike on phone.

“ Hey Mike! Guess what” Pauline says.

“ Are you coming already with Becky?” Mike ask.

“ Soon, tell me which restaurant should come to?” Pauline ask.

“You should come to LAGOON RESTAURANT, I will be waiting for you there” Mike says.

“ Maybe you should also send an Uber driver to us or so you want your queen to be to be trekking?” Pauline says.

“ Alright, I will send an Uber driver and to you now” Mike says and ye ends the call and Becky walls of her room dressing up in a yellow short gown and Pauline get jealous that she looks sexy than her and the clothes  looks original but hers.

“ Tell me how do I look?” Becky ask.

“ You look good” Pauline says and she looks at her self as she dress up in trousers and a crop top but it's not up to Becky’s dress standard.

She got a message that the Uber has arrived “ we should go now but when will Tom come back home” Pauline ask.

“ I do not know, he just told me that he is be late today and he did not even tell me where he was going” Becky says.

“ Since, he will be late before ye come back home so we can spent a lot of time having fun” Pauline says.

“ What if he come back early? I can't spent a lot of time, I am an employee that is all” Becky says.

“ Alright, what ever, which e should get going now” Pauline says and they both walk out the house and they met Leo entering the house.

“ Hey Mr Leo!” Becky says.

“ Oh, I can see that you are going out to somewhere” Leo says.

“ Yes, I am. I want to go see my mum” Leo says.

“ I just wanted to know how you are doing because of what happens yesterday” Leo says.

“ As you can see, she is fine so please stop asking silly question” Pauline says in a harsh way.

“ I was not speaking to you so please you can keep your mouth short and let Bevky speak for herself” Leo says and Pauline gets angry.

“ Or do you want me to says what I saw about you yesterday, stabbing people at the back and smiling in their front” Leo says and Pauline gets nervous and Becky gets confuse.

“ What do you mean?” Becky ask Leo and Leo stared at Pauline that she is nervous already.

“ Nothing, I was just kidding though” Leo says and Becky stood confuse.

“ What you just said does not sound like you were kidding”Becky says and Pauline drag her with her.

“ We should go now” Pauline says in anger.

“ You should go see your mum, I will speak to you some another time” Leo says ad he left.

“ What was he talking about?” Becky ask.

“ You just heard him said that he was kidding and you know he does not like and I do not like him to so he can use that hatred to say anything nasty” Pauline says.

“ Oh, yes you are right” Becky says.

“ You are just a big fool Becky, Leo hinted you something but you failed to understand that” Pauline says in her mind. 

“ We should go now “ Pauline says and they both wals out of the gate and they entered the Uber.

Tom and his dad entered back the house and Isabella gets happy and she stood up smiling.

“ I think we should leave the both them to have their privacy” his dad says and his mum stood up and they both left them to have their privacy, his parents both walls away from the living room his mum stood in a corner peeping.

“ Why are you peeping? We should leave them to have their privacy” Tom’s dad says.

“ I just hope he agrees to the this decision because I like Isabella and she is so beautiful and they both fit to be a couple” his mum says.

“ Yes, I hope he agrees” his dad says and they both left.

Isabella walks closer to Tom and she started at him and she smile.

“ You should your dad to speak to my dad so I will accept to this relationship” Tom says.

“ I like and I am sure you like me too why are you pretending you need to forget about your ego I know that you angry I shoot my shot first and I sure you must be regreting that you should have shoot your shot first but its all the same it fine we should forget about that and let fave the future let's concentrate on the future” Isabella says.

“ So, you think it's ego that is why I said no to you right if you must know this is not about ego but I do not love you Isabella and I don't think I can ever love you” Tom says.

“ Maybe, you can should think about another guy, I am sure there are other many guys dying to have you why don't you give them this chance” Tom says.

“ My heart belongs you Tom, consider my feelings for you”Isabella says.

“ You should also consider mine too Isabella, you are so beautiful and sexy and hard working as well because most girls of nowadays don't want to work in their parents company because they always feel to big or want to follow their team but I really respect you because you are follongvuoor dad’s step but I am not into you” Tom says.

“ Are you into someone else?” Isabella ask and Tom think about Becky.

“ Maybe, I am into someone else and I think the person is special” Tom says and tears drop from Isabella eyes as she gets hurt by what Tom say.

“ Alright, do as you like but I will give you enough time to think about this and if your answer is still no then you will leave me when the no choice than to terminate the contract we signed recently and you know how the contract really mean to you and for the company” Isabella says and Tom gets shocked.

“ Is that a threat?” Tom ask.

“ You can call it what you want” Isabella says.

Isabella take her handbag and she left in anger in her car with thoughts telling Tom’s parents goodbye, his parents walls of closer to him smiling.

“ Tell me, how did it go?” his mum ask and Tom keep nut and could not says anything.

“ I do not want to talk about how he went dad, I want to go back home and think” Tom says and was about to in anger and his mum stop him.

“ Are you walking out on us?” his mum ask.

“ No mum you know I can't do thy bit I am not in good mood right now” Tom says.

“ Let go and think about this don't stop him” his dad says and Tom left in anger.

“ What did Isabella told that got him angry this way” his min says and she gets worried.

Pauline and Becky got to the LAGOON RESTAURANT and they both get die from the car and they enyerd the restaurant and Pauline looks around and she saw where Mike is sitting and she take Bevky with her to him, Becky saw Mjme and she gets shocked.
