Gorostiza's a piece of cake

Liza's POV
"I can't believe you lied to us Liza," Ma yelled .I sighed.
"I've told you Ma, I had reasons for doing that " I added calmly.
" Oh wow , so you thought we would tell everyone who you really are?" She glared at me.
" How wonderful you think of us '' she added sarcastically.
" To think i had the CEO of LDN Corp with me the whole time and i never knew or even suspected "
" Ma, it's not that I didn't trust you , but..."
" But what?"
I rolled my eyes over at Samantha.
" She already let me out once , I can't take the risk again, " I added .
" Seriously?, I let you out?So much for being sisters " Samantha muttered, staring at me with so much hate.
I ignored her and turned back to mom .
"I'm sorry if i deceived you for so long , I just had to do it"
My phone beeped and I glanced at it . It was a message from Harper.
"I've gotta be somewhere now, " I added .
"Well , we will talk about this better tomorrow morning" Mom glared at me before walking away.
Samantha rolled her eyes at me before walking away too. I sighed and walked out of the house before getting into my car. I drove towards the farmhouse.

Ma , as I usually call her, is my adopted mother. I met her six years ago. After I had face surgery, she was actually about to be robbed and then I helped her . Things went on and before i knew it we became so close and then boom !, She literally adopted me and took me as her child though i refused to live with her , she actually didn't know who i really was , and i kept owning LDN a secret for years .
Samantha is her own biological daughter, she's also 25 years and she doesn't really like me because she thinks her mom gives me more attention than usual. Weird!

Immediately I got out of the car , I locked the doors safely and shoved the keys into my trouser pocket before following the path that led to the house.
When I got to the house , I placed my thumb and index finger on the scanner and the door opened. As I walked in , a voice stopped me.
"Stop there" someone said pointing a gun towards me.
"It's just me Kyle" I replied
"Oh" he muttered and flicked on the light switch before holding back his gun.
I shut the door and we headed to the living room.
Kyle is also a victim of Tiago's dirty work . His family was killed in a fire accident caused by Tiago , only him and his little sister survived , his parents and older brother died in the fire .
"Hope you were not followed?" Kyle asked immediately. I sat down on one of the side chairs.
"I wasn't "
"Where's Harper?" I asked when I didn't see her .
"I'm here" I heard her voice .
"So let's see what you got Kyle?" I asked turning to face Kyle
He nodded and pushed out the elimination board. It had different pictures of people on it.
From my real parents to Tiago Ramos (Gael's dad) , Gael , and some other people suspected to work with Tiago .
"Yesterday, when I sneaked into Tiago's office, I overheard him talking about a warehouse in Las Vegas and some things they wanted to smuggle out of the city " Kyle started slowly pacing the room.
" And then at night , I decided to check out the place , it turns out Tiago owns the place . I was able to spot about three of his men and they also store illegal drugs and firearms there " he added before passing Harper and I some printed pictures.
I glanced at the pictures. It showed some men as they transferred the goods into a large white van . I sighted a familiar face standing by the edge of the van .
"This person looks so familiar" I muttered showing the picture to Kyle.
"Mr Gorostiza" he said, handing me another picture which had his face clearly.
" So he works for Tiago?" Harper asked unbelievably, staring closely at the picture.
" Clearly he does" I sneered , placing the picture on the table.
"And then in public they all act like they mean well for the country " I added .
" We need evidence against Tiago, this pictures are not going to be enough, we need more , I'll try talking with Gorostiza" Kyle sighed
" No"
" I will" I smirked, glancing at his face on the printed picture.
"Are you sure?" Harper called worriedly.
"Gorostiza is a piece of cake " I replied, giving off my signature smirk.
"One more thing , now that you've revealed your face you need to be extra careful" Kyle said
I nodded .
" Well that's all . If I find out anything I'll inform you guys " Kyle concluded
" Okay" I muttered
He nodded and walked upstairs.
I walked towards the elimination board and grabbed the red marker.I circled Gorostiza's picture.
"You are my next target " I muttered with a wide smirk.
My eyes darted to Tiago's picture.
"The girl whose life you messed up seven years is back "
I glanced at Gael's picture , my eyes hardening, my grip on the marker tightened.
"I hope you are ready for Liza, darling ex"
" Are we going to leave now or you'll keep eye murdering Gael's picture? " Harper asked behind me
I shut my eyes for some seconds before opening them back . Dropping the marker on the table , I turned to her.
"You came in your car right?" I asked and grabbed my handbag from the table.
"Of Course I'm leaving in my car " she replied and we headed to the door. We got out and the door locked automatically.
"Be careful" Harper waved at me immediately i got into my car
"You too" I muttered
I started the car and drove off heading towards my house.
