Chapter 7: (Flashback) Before giving it away

"AARGHH!" Haruki inwardly screamed in frustration whilst holding his head from the headache that came with it.

Even though he already planned the process of making the (Sunshine) it still came with failures upon failures of execution.

"ugh... I don't get it!" He exclaimed

"What's got you so worked up?" A voice came out of nowhere which made Haruki get up on his hospital bed.

He looked side to side before making contact with an adult male wearing a doctor's uniform.

"*sigh* it's nothing" Haruki answered

"You're still a kid so don't get so worked up about it and let us adults take care of your brother" Dr. Sasaki said trying to relieve some of Haruki's worries.

Haruki smiled wryly, before was handed a tray of food

"Eat-up, you still need food to grow so stop acting like a grown-up" Sasaki said whilst walking away with a hand waving goodbye to Haruki, making his way towards the other patients bed

Staring at his lunch, Haruki decided to rest his mind for a bit and began to eat his meal.

Having nothing else to do, Haruki borrowed the laptop of his aunt and began to look through HeroTube, YouTubes equivalent for entertainment and hopefully find some inspiration while at it.

After 5 minutes or so, he could only still see some hero related content and a bunch of All Might videos, clearly trying to take advantage of him to gain some views.

After some time of trying to find a good video to watch, Haruki decided to try and search 'Naruto' on the search bar hoping that there were still remnants of the golden age of entertainment industry

He clicked the search button on the laptop and his expectation plummeted after the page loaded, He weaved a sigh and began scrolling down.

Few moments later, he stumbled across two familiar characters, his eyes began to widen and before his heart could even make a beat again, he clicked the video just as fast as the speed of sound.

The video he clicked on began to load and the familiar voice of kid Naruto entered his ears.

It was the episode where the konoha's forbidden jutsu was performed by Kakashi on Naruto

"Th-This!" getting excited at one of the long lost treasure he found on YouTube, Haruki immediately started searching up various animes that aired in the early 2000s, which consists of Dragon Ball, One piece, Naruto, and Bleach.

Though he could only find clips of the animes, this gave him a bit of nostalgia. Haruki then began searching on the internet if he could find atleast find one episode of these animes, but expection often lead to disappointment.

All he saw were mountains of hero articles and products that were being sold having the same name.

'Tch, they are really pushing it with these hero propagandas' Haruki inwardly scowled

'*sigh* This society is more fucked-up than my previous life's society, already calling everyone a criminal when they see a quirk ability that are dark' Said to himself in disappointment 'And here I am getting tossed in a fictional world with missing memories of the reason and ignorance to the plot. But atleast I watched TikToks and Yt shorts about this world, and believe me how much you can learn just by watching them'

'Fictional?' An Idea popped up inside the head of Haruki.

'That's right! This is a fictional world, so I don't have to follow the physics of reality!' His mouth curled up and eyes widened at the revelation

"Why haven't I thought of it sooner?!" He said outloud 'Why should I follow the physics of real life, when I'm in an anime world that has its own rules and physics?'

Haruki closed the laptop and set it aside, He lied down on his hospital bed, and then closed his eyes and dtarted to imagine a big canvas

'I. am. going. to abuse the fuck out of anime physics starting now!'

Haruki began to paint in his mind, Yellow, and red. The two main colors he picked in order to create (Sunshine), he kept painting the big orange fireball along with his intent.

The process took hours to complete and once he awoke It was already night, his stomach growled but was dismissed as he finally created (Sunshine) though he couldn't make it properly work at night since he wouldn't have anything left if decided to make it work at night

So he decided to make it store sunlight and then uses it in a limited amount of time kinda like how divine axe Rhitta stores excess energy for later purposes.

—Next Day—

'Damn it! I got lost again! I need to get back to his hospital room quick, before it's too late!' Haruki screamed in his head while currently running down hallways upon hallways

'105, 105, 105, 105!' Haruki while panting heavily kept repeating the room number of his brother.

Again he saw another familiar sign 'DAMN IT! I AM RUNNING IN CIRCLES!' He complained to his inability of having sense of direction which further worsened due to the hallways were all connected, not to mention there are five total floors that all their hallways connected.

"Excuse me young man, Are you lost?" A voice of a woman sounded behind Haruki, He looked back and saw a floating dress behind him.

"Woah!" He exclaimed as he fell onto his butt.

"Oh no, are you okay?" The invisible lady spoke "I didn't mean to scare you" solemnly

Haruki having no time to chat, quickly got up and kneeled in front of the invisible lady

"Floating dress lady, I am begging you, I am bad at direction please guide me to room 105!" Haruki cried in desperate plea

The floating dress heard the urgent sound of his voice

"Alright" The floating dress agreed to help and then gestured to grab her invisible hand that was apparent due to the visible ring floating in front of him.

Grabbing her hand, she quickly guided Haruki by sprinting. Though she could hear someone screaming "No running down the halls!" But simply ignored it.

They arrived at the front door of Nikko's room, and Haruki faved the invisible lady and began bowing and thanking her which made the latter say "Don't mention it, it must've been very urgent so go!"

'This child is quite mature' she thought as the young boy opened the door with a bang almost startling the staffs working inside.

(A/N: So the reason why I made the mc lost inside the hospital is simply because I want to have him keep getting lost, while also because I didn't like the way mc just bursts open the door of the hospital room without any reason in the previous chapter
