Abigail couldn't remember how long she had cried. She cried so much that her tears had dried up, leaving her eyes feeling sore.
Her anger at the situation made it hard for her to calm down. Ryland had successfully ruined her mood today. She couldn't do anything to that damn Ryland; she could only pray to God to send lightning and burn him into ash.
Abigail didn't want sadness and annoyance to control her. She forced herself to put aside Ryland's matter in the back of her mind.
She got up from bed and walked to the bathroom. Feeling like her body was about to explode from her anger, she decided to take a cold shower to calm down and get rid of her rage.
Standing under the shower, she could feel the cold water soothing her nerves and gradually subsiding her anger.
After a while, she walked out of the bathroom, wearing only a white bathrobe, and began looking for clean clothes. However, before she could open the wardrobe, her cell phone rang.
