Whiplash

Present:

Stark became very busy with the government continuing to pressure him into giving up the Ironman armor, his competitors trying to make their own armors, and him handing over his company to Pepper Potts. He also started to isolate himself a little. He also appoints a new personal secretary.

Ben goes to visit him.

Ben: So what's going on? Ms. Potts, how does it feel to be the new CEO of Stark Industries?

Ms. Potts: Hectic. Don't ask. Now I have to take responsibility for everything. It's like he is a moody baby.

Ben: Hehe, well congratulations btw.

Ms. Potts: Thanks.

Ben: Where is the boss? Oh well technically now you're the boss. So, where is the moody baby?

Tony: Who's a moody baby?

Ben: You are.

Tony: Ms. Potts, don't you have important, CEO tasks to complete?

Ms. Potts: I'm going.

Ben: So what's new?

Tony: Nothing. Just thought I should relax more, and focus on the Ironman stuff so I made pepper the CEO. She was anyways doing more than 50% of the work and can now take credit for it.

Ben: So I heard you hired a new assistant?

Tony: Yeah. You're gonna like her. Ms. Rushman, meet a dear friend of mine, Mr. Ben Tennyson.

Ms. Rushman: Nice to meet you.

Ben: Nice to meet you too. (Oh my god. She is so beautiful. Mr. Stark always gets beautiful assistants. Tho I wonder, have I seen her somewhere?) So Mr. Stark, what are you gonna do today?

Ms. Rushman: Mr. Stark is going to see the Monaco Historic Grand Prix today.

Tony: Yeah you should come, I've got a surprise for you.

Ben: Oh really? Are you gonna drive?

Tony: Hehe.

At the Monaco Historic Grand Prix:

Ben: Happy, don't you ever feel that your job is useless now that Mr. Stark is the Ironman?

Happy: He is not the Ironman, he wears the suit. Without the suit, he can get knocked out with a slap.

Ben: Yeah I've seen you two box.

Happy: He cheats. Besides, he can get attacked anytime, and he is not wearing an armor most of the time.

Ben: Isn't that what the Football is for?

Happy: Won't save him from a sniper.

Ben: And you can?

Happy: Shut up the race is starting.

To everyone's shock, Stark decided to take part in the race.

Ben: Holy shit, he wasn't lying.

While racing, suddenly a man in a worker uniform entered the race track and removed his uniform to reveal an armor and electric whips.

Ben: Is that an arc reactor and Vilgax's tech?

He sliced Stark's car in half with his whip.

Ben: I'll save him, you prepare the football.

Ben turns into XLR8 and quickly rushed to the race track. Before the man could kill Stark, ben saves him and takes him inside.

XLR8: Who are you? What do you want? And how do you have such technology?

Armored Man: You are a blue lizard with wheels for legs and I'm being questioned for possessing 'Technology'?

He attacks ben but he dodges and charges toward him but gets shocked when he hits him.

Armored Man: I was warned about you by the people who gave me this.

He again attacks but ben keeps dodging. He then turns into Diamondhead.

Diamondhead: I can guess where you got the armor. How do you have an arc reactor?

Armored Man: I built it. It's my father's design.

He strikes him but his whips don't do anything to Diamondhead. Ben shoots diamond bullets at him but they get stopped by a force field around the armor. Suddenly he gets hit by a repulsor blast fired at him by Ironman. But it is also absorbed.

Ben: Mark V.

Ironman: The armor is powered by the reactor. We somehow need to take it out. You turn into Feedback and absorb its energy, while I distract him.

While Stark fires lasers at him, he completely ignores him and attacks Ben. As Diamondhead ben grabs his Whip and using Feedback's powers, absorbs his energy.

Diamondhead: He is drained.

Stark then fires laser at him which destroys his armor and knocks him. Ben then takes out the arc reactor and gives it to Stark who crushes it. The man is then taken away by the guards.

Armored Man: You were saved by this freak otherwise you were a dead man Stark. You hear me? A dead man.

Later when they returned to Stark's mansion Ben had a private conversation with him.

Ben: Do you know that guy? Why was he after you? And how the hell did he possess an arc reactor? I thought only you knew how to make one. He said it was his dad's design. But I remember you telling me it was your dad's. Are you two half-brothers?

Tony: Obviously I have no idea. I don't know who he is and how he got it. He said he made one. I don't think that's true.

Ben: Also why did you participate in the race? That was reckless. You know many people want you dead.

Tony: Well I am going to die soon anyways so, not really an issue.

Ben: What?

Tony: Ok look. You know my arc reactor core runs on palladium. But it's slowly started poisoning me. And without it, I can't live. With it, I can't live. So, I thought maybe I should enjoy my life more.

Ben: You should have told me. I can help.

Tony: Really? Can you? I know Alien X is locked so you can't use magic. You can't reverse time. And you can only reverse genetic damage. You can't do anything about my condition. The element that can support the reactor and not poison me doesn't exist.

Ben: Alright. Look no need to worry. We can figure something out. I have a lot of aliens still unlocked. We can think of something.

Tony: Well I don't have much time left. I'm sorry but I need some time alone right now.

Ben: Alright, just don't lose hope. We will figure something out.
