All the agents started to move back and soon they disappeared from the spot.

Thug 4: Man you saved a lot of gunfire here. It could have been deadly. Everyone quick. Move it.

All the men started to loot the mall and after looting it they spared the people and disappeared.

Person 1: Are you crazy? What did you do?

Person 2: I've never seen such a coward in my life.

Person 3: He just saved our lives.

Person 2: He is a coward

Agent: Why did you do that?

Ben: I'm trusting you on this one.

Agent: What?

Ben: Look, Omnitrix is on a reboot, so it could not have been activated. He asked for it so I gave it. Because I trust you.

Agent: What do you mean?

Ben: You want to know about me and the device. You guys are following me. I was unconscious when you guys caught me. But you were unable to separate me from Omnitrix. So I thought maybe you guys would have placed some sort of tracker on the device. And I took that risk thinking that you guys can track the Omnitrix to their base and catch them. Plus you guys were handling the situation very poorly.

Agent: We aren't police. We guys are agents, spies. People think of us as FBI or something. We have zero experience in hostage situations.

Ben: Alright, not a problem.

Agent: And yes, we placed a tracker on the device so yeah it was good.

Ben: Great, so now you can give the info to the police, get them arrested, and give the watch to me.

Agent: Alright.

The rest of the day was pretty normal for Ben. He went to work. He came back home in the evening. He saw on the news that the police caught the thugs responsible for breaking into the mall, and returned everything. Some of the agents that showed up at the mall before were seen on the scene too.

Ben: Well they got the device. But they should have returned it to me by now. Oh yeah. How could I have not thought of that? They took the device for themselves to research it. Well. Not that they will find anything. I'll have to wait for the Omnitrix to finish rebooting. Then it will come back to me on its own.

Nick Fury: Did we get anything on the device yet?

Agent 1: No sir. It's too complex. We can't understand it.

Nick Fury: I don't blame you. It's alien. But if we can't access it, then it's of no use to us.

Coulson: It's of full use to him. To Ben I mean. He has full access to it and he uses it for good. Shouldn't we give it back to him? He is helping us.

Nick Fury: Can we really trust him? He is not from here.

Coulson: You trusted her.

Nick Fury: She was from a different planet. This guy is from a different universe.

Coulson: Both of them are humans. He has been helping catch criminals. He is good. Someone of the sort you've been looking for.

Nick Fury: Yeah. He even claims to be a hero back in his universe.

Coulson: See. So?

Nick Fury: Alright.

Ben is watching a TV show.

Ben: Haha. Joey is so funny.

Someone rings the bell.

Ben: (About time)

He opens the door and sees the same agent he met in the mall before.

Ben: Hey it's you. So got anything?

Agent: The device is too complex.

Ben: Ya. Hehe.

He gives the watch to Ben.

Ben: Thanks.

Agent: Don't think this was the last time you see us. You will hear from us.

Ben: Yeah. From the Strategic Homel…

Agent: Just call us S.H.I.E.L.D.

Ben: Ahhhh. Got you.

He closed the door. And sometime later, the Omnitrix gave a bright glow and instantly attached itself to Ben's wrist.

Ben: I missed you too.
