Ben turned into Jetray and followed him to an abandoned building where he stopped and turned into Banner again. There Ben approached him.

XLR8: Are you alright Dr. Banner?

Dr. Banner: Woah!!

XLR8: Don't be scared. I'm here to help.

Dr. Banner: You…you're the monster, the shapeshifting dude. The Shape-shifter.

XlR8: Yes.

Dr. Banner: You were the one who helped me there?

XLR8: Well I wouldn't call it help exactly.

Dr. Banner: You knock down criminals at night and leave them for the police. You can turn it into different forms. How do you do that? What are you? An alien? A mutant?

He turns back to human.

Ben: I'm only a human. Just not from this universe.

Dr. Banner: This universe? You're from another universe?? How is that possible?

Ben: Calm down and I'll tell you everything.

Ben narrates his story of how he got here and how he turns into different aliens and is trying to go back to his universe.

Dr. Banner: So this device, stores the DNA of various species from your universe? And it helps you transform into them while you retain your consciousness?

Ben: Yes. And it can also do a lot of stuff. I can merge 2 or more aliens and their abilities. I can use their powers while not even transforming sometimes. All from the help of alternate Bens from different timelines.

Dr. Banner: This must have been created by a being of higher intelligence and access to advanced technologies.

Ben: Actually it was made by someone who looks like this.

He turns into Greymatter.

Dr. Banner: Fascinating.

Greymatter: Yes. And I believe I can help you using the Omnitrix.

He turns back to Ben.

Dr. Banner: Help me? How?

Ben: Your condition. Your mutation was a result of exposure to gamma radiation. I believe the Omnitrix can cure you. Fix the genetic damage caused by the radiation.

Dr. Banner: Really? You can? It can?

Ben: Yes. I once cured an entire alien race of their genetic disease.

Dr. Banner: That's…wow.

Ben: Yeah. I know you have been trying to cure yourself. The world sees you as a monster. The military sees you as a weapon. But you're a person. A scientist. Brilliant scientist. And I know it haunts you. You don't want to hurt the people around you. I can cure you for good. You will no longer be 'the Hulk'. You can be Dr. Banner.

Dr. Banner: And what if he doesn't like it? What if he doesn't want it?

Ben: Who doesn't want it?

Dr. Banner: ….Nothing. You are right. If you can cure me, do it.

Ben: Alright Dr. Banner.

Ben then sent an energy wave from the Omnitrix which made Dr. Banner unconscious. Ben then brought him to his apartment. There he gained consciousness after some time.

Ben: How are you feeling Doctor?

Dr. Banner: I feel…normal. It actually didn't feel anything when I was not the hulk so I don't know if anything changed or not.

Ben: It's alright. I'm sure you are cured. But what will you do now?

Dr. Banner: I'll lay low. I'll go to some other country, where the military may not be able to track me and I can work and live, quietly.

Ben: That's good. If you ever need anything, you can call me.

Dr. Banner: Yes. Sure. It will be good to know there is another guy that can turn green and big whenever he wants.

Ben: Hehe. Yeah.

Ben then helped him get out of the country undetected.

The next day ben woke up and straight away opened the news.

"Last night a monster wreaked havoc in Harlem when the Hulk came and fought the monster. There was a lot of Property damage and many people were injured, some were even killed. The anonymous superhero "the Shape-shifter" was seen at the sight, trying to help."

Ben: Wow. I'm getting famous. Nice. I hope the military trusts Dr. Banner now and leaves him alone.

That day he had another visit from Shield.

Ben: Oh it's you again.

Agent: Yeah, to discuss yesterday's little fight.

Ben: Yeah. Look Dr. Banner is innocent. The military wanted to use the Hulk as a weapon. One of them got his hands on Dr. Banner's blood and they paid the price for it. But Dr. Banner is good. He won't cause any more trouble. I cured him.

Agent: You cured him? How?

Ben: I can do that. So just leave him alone.

Agent: Well. We will keep an eye on him. We won't take any actions until necessary.

Ben: Good. Then is that all?

Agent: Yeah, for now. By the way, are you gonna stick with the name? The Shape-shifter? Were you known by the same name in your universe?

Ben: Hehe. No. But the people choose the name. How can I choose my superhero name?

Agent: True.
